@@FOT2010 Not true at all, In game 4 Braves we’re very thin on pitching, so game 5 we were always gonna be SUPER thin at pitching, due to the loss of Charlie Morton in game 1. So everyone who actually followed the series closely knew the Braves would have an extremely tough time pitching. Astros have the best lineup in baseball, so obviously they came back and scored some runs.
Even though they lost the game, this is still such a kickass moment. I don't think I've heard a stadium get as loud as it did after the ball cleared the fence. I hope we re-sign Duvy.
Truist Park was electric. That was the loudest I ever heard it there..

my cousins were at that game and said it was louder than some concerts they’ve been to. i was at my favorite restaurant and when it happened everyone exploded into cheers. amazing moment
The loudest I’ve ever been to in a specific sporting event. I’ve been to both Falcon’s NFC championship games, the Georgia rose bowl, multiple SEC championship games, couple of National Championship football games, and that Duvall Salami beat them all.
I was outside it was insane !!

Duvall is underrated. Yeah he batted .228 and doesn’t walk and strikes out a lot but the fact that he batted .228 with 113 rbis means he’s insanely clutch. 38 home runs help out too.

Braves we’re super thin on pitchers for game 5, was actually kind of expected. Since we lost Charlie Morton, and it was the second day we brought a guy up from triple A to pitch, Braves fans who follow the team knew the Astros would score runs. Game 6 the Braves should have fresh arms though

Braves weren’t supposed to win game 5. We brought up a guy from triple A to start on the mound. It’s unfortunate that we lost Charlie Morton. Plus the Braves used up all the guys from the Bullpen to win game 4. Unfortunate that we didn’t have the pitching we did for the rest of the series. But, in game 6 we’ll have our rested arms back, so we’ll see what happens

These post season grand slams against us are SOUL CRUSHING! I'm glad we were able to overcome this one.
Loss aside, that was an amazing grandslam. I said it in July and I still say it now. Glad to have Duvall back hitting homers for us. Hopefully they won't make the same mistake and keep him.

Im honestly just happy the Braves are here and I remember them winning it in 1995. A 4-0 blown lead would have only been significant if it was 6th inning or later. It’s not fair to be so quick to say they will blow it. Im happy where they are considering all their injuries and this World Series shows the Braves need to work on their bullpen in the offseason. Its not fair to brand a team a choker or a champion.

Been a Braves fan since the 90s when I was old enough to understand the game. #10 Chipper Jones was my fave player. They may have lost that game, but I remember watching the game and I lost it when Duvall hit that grand slam!! Kickass!

I remember watching this live. I couldn’t even celebrate cause I was in so much disbelief being all “is this really happening”. And yeah we lost the game but won the series😎
We didn’t get the win that night but it was so awesome to be there. A memory for a lifetime
I loved this moment! It’s a shame it’s kind of overshadowed by how the game ended up going. I was also glad they picked Duvall midway through the season to get him back to where he got his ring with the team he’d struggled through the last few years.
One mistake and that’s it, that’s Baseball ⚾️ game. Always start with small mistake and end up big. I love baseball ⚾️ games.

I still find myself coming back to this moment once a month. I was there. Could not believe we lost that game but that grand slam was well worth the price of admission alone.
I was there the night before, I keep watching the clips of Dansby and Jorge going back to back. Who am I kidding I keep watching all the clips from this World Series over and over again.
As an astros fan, i definitely called game after this. I was trick it treating with my kids. Watching the game on my phone. I literally tossed my phone in a neighbors yard, after this grand slam 😂. I was ecstatic the astros cameback and actually won this game. Although, it just ended up being a stay of execution. Braves won game 6 with ease. Atlanta deserved it that year. Had the all star game taken away from them. They deserved the 🏆

I’ll never forget this moment. I was drying my hands. I heard how hard the ball was hit. Walked out the bathroom and I saw the ball in the air. I couldn’t believe it.
I was late this game, and I heard Truist erupt the moment I ran out of the parking deck. I just knew that was going to be the night. Thankfully we ended it two nights later.
