No movie actually properly shows how breathtaking and furious the start really is. Nor how fast is this going. This was my first attraction that I'd attended in Port Aventura and I was stunned by the ride. I left it with my legs shaking... I'm definitelly going to try it again someday :P

The rain hits you the face and makes you feel even more excited. I have such a love-hate relationship with this ride, I love it because of it's raw power, the launch is the most intense and exhillirating one I've experienced, and I've experienced many... but goddamn it's the roughest roller coaster I've ever ridden, and I've traversed more vekomas than i care to admit.
I've been on a lot of extreme rides in my life, but I did not expect this from Furious Baco. It was extremely fast and painful too. I loved it soooo much I had to go on it again. I think twice is enough for one lifetime lol.
I went on it at 7pm after it was running all day...worst decision of my life. However, apart from the fact that it becomes one of the most painful rides in history after mid-day, it's a super thrilling and fun launched coaster. Also, that has to be the most intense fucking launch that I have ever experienced.
I'm from Barcelona and I go pretty often there, so let me tell you that the most fucking intense launch that you can experience is not this one, it's in Ferrari World at Abu Dhabi xD
Kaiser Friedrich Wilhelm II That's not so much intense as it is just really, really fast. Intense is when you go from 0 to something very fast in a short amount of time, the shorter the better. For example, Xcelerator at Knott's Berry Farm goes from 0-82 in 2.3 seconds. Or Dononpa at Fuji-Q Highland goes from 0-107 in 1.7 seconds (you read that right).
I had no idea what this coaster did and expected it to slowly climb the hill in the beginning.....boy was I wrong *xD* the woman beside me started to cry

I went on this ride the other week I am 14. It is a lot faster on the actual ride than you think. The first time I went on it it gave me a headache because I kept bashing my head but not the second time.
so it was my first roller coaster in my entire life. it doesn't look fast on the video but in fact, when you're on it, ITS SO FREAKING FAST!! especially in the beginning, when it goes slowly back and then rapidly forward!! And actually this roller coaster is not really comfortable because I beat my head against the protection (u put it down on yourself when u sit there lol u know) but I felt pretty good after this roller coaster and I was ready for others!! p.s. was there in may 2015 ^~^

I love how fast it is and how fun it is to go around that heart line roll. This is number 3 coaster in PortAventura behind dragon khan and shambala
I've ridden this ride today and it was awesome! You don't expect the start so you usually get really surprised. It's fast af but but the first two seconds I can't even open my eyes! Very beautiful views and If you ever go there I hope you have as much fun as I had

Best ride in the park for sure!! I have been yesterday, I already loved Dragon Khan but I never had a ride in Furius Baco. It was way faster than I thought at first, the first seconds are breathtaking!!! Way better and extreme than Dragon Khan. I have never been in Shambala because It is too high for me and I don't know if I would enjoy it or not, but now Furius Baco is my favorite of the park. I neither had headache or pain un the neck as others. My experience was 10/10, I cannot wait to repeat!!

Well TECHNICALLY X2 is a wing coaster although it is not classified as one. And yes I know it's a 4D coaster, but wing coasters are any coasters that have seats protruding from the track itself on either side, and X2 certainly fits that description.

I’ve been on stealth which is a conventional launch coaster with a top hat in the uk, and that feels really intense, so I can’t imagine what getting launched at 84mph feels like on a wing coaster
I remember with high school in your last year you go to Barcelona. We went to this amusement park for a day. I didn't know this was a launch rollercoaster and I actually was shocked when it went out. Don't underestimate the speed in this video. It's really fast and it's also really amazing.
I bet this thing just slaps ( to paraphrase El Toro Ryan). There's an awesome Intamin wing coaster at Hersheypark, and the airtime on it is just insane!! This one (which I believe is the first Intamin winger) looks even more intense! All hail Baco!
I spent three days in PortAventura last July and got the gold wristband to skip lines. Rode Shambahla, Dragon Khan and Hurakan Condor a million times, but Furius Baco was the only one I didn't revisit... It was extreme and, although I like rollercoasters, it wasn't pleasant. Be advised that it is not for the faint hearted...
I was there last week... the best are : furious baco, shambala, hurakan condor and dragon khan. If u got hot ride Tutuki Splash :D i didnt ride hurakan condor, my friends say that is awesome ... i really regret that. Dont make the same mistake i did :s
When my family visited the park, we re-named this ride Furious Tobacco - As your going to need a cigarette after it! As others have commented , the video sadly doesn't do the initial acceleration justice. Great ride.
It's an exciting ride with gorgeous theming, but I think it's a bit rough. If it was smoother, it might rank a little higher on my list, but I think I'll have to ride it again to give it a fairer rating.
Was my first ride ever. I was said to my wife. Hey we might try this one first before that big ones in behind ( Shamballa and Dragon's khan) HOW BADLY I was mistaken. That acceleration was crazy. WOW. One of best and most intense experience from that day.
I was on my holidays in Salou and i went to portaventura and i was going on the furios baco. When i got in the queue the ride was down for technical issues and that was a half an hour added on to time (40/50 minutes) When the ride was finally back up i got on it and it was EPIC. Its so fast IT WAS SO FUN

I was on this ride last Thursday and I didnt know to expect cause I barely saw the ride, just in the end u see the speed that people rode in it. It takes you pretty fast from the beggining and I remember my face face on the camera, terrified:)) Didnt go on Shambala though, It was my first experience on a fast rolercoaster and I liked it.
I went on this ride last week, it was my first time visiting. My girlfriend doesn’t like big rides and we decided to go on this one first as looking at the map there is no big drops. We ended up waiting 3 hours to go on this ride but goddamn it was worth it. We didn’t think it would have gone that fast but we were so shocked 😂😂😂 when watching the short film at the start we was caught by such surprise 😂😂😂it goes so fast and makes your stomach drop but it surely is an amazing ride and me and my girlfriend loved it. Got on this a few days ago after watching the RUclips videos and thinking “it’s not that fast” OMG I was wrong. You’re literally sitting there and the carts pull back like a slingshot before you catapult around the track. The first few seconds I was in total shock at the speed! Such a great ride but once did it for me!
The first ride i hopped on when i visited Port Aventura was Furious Baco, even though i was focused on riding Dragon Khan, because it's the first ride you find when you cross the gates. Anyways, i got in with my friends, and i started recording with my cellphone. I thought it wouldn't be that bad, and i got distracted with the show before the launching. So distracted that i did a mistake. I relaxed too much and didn't put my back against the seat, but i let my chest rest against the seat harness. When shit got real, the whole train slipped under my ass, so i hit the seat with my head and my back, while the whole thing kept on accelerating faster and faster. You can not even imagine the fear i felt at that moment. I never experienced anything so freaking intense. I was so freaking shocked that i didn't even realize i missclicked and stopped recording at the beginning of the barrel roll. But it totally worthed it. It was absolutely incredible. And to anyone who think i may be overreacting, i must add that the launch was so freaking powerful that even my camera got a disrruption, thing that i found out after i checked the video i recorded. It went white for less than a second. Not even my nokia x6 could stand it. Furius baco. The coaster that almost beated a nokia.
Very interesting design, similar layout to Maverick but with no lift hill and wing trains, I'd love to see one of these come to the states, I have to say it seems a bit short; if intamin added a second launch like Maverick has and extended the layout a bit this thing would be absolutely sick
I was on this ride back in 2018 and boy I thought it was going to be gentler than it looks... A video can’t even show how fast it is... This year I stayed away from it and took Shambhala instead 😂

Rode Shambahla, Dragon Khan and Hurakan Condor a million times, but Furius Baco was the only one I didn't revisit... It was extreme and, although I like rollercoasters, it wasn't pleasant. Be advised that it is not for the faint hearted...
Going there in October and definitely going to ride this!

i didnt ride hurakan condor, my friends say that is awesome ... i really regret that. Dont make the same mistake i did :s

When my family visited the park, we re-named this ride Furious Tobacco - As your going to need a cigarette after it! As others have commented , the video sadly doesn't do the initial acceleration justice. Great ride.

It's an exciting ride with gorgeous theming, but I think it's a bit rough. If it was smoother, it might rank a little higher on my list, but I think I'll have to ride it again to give it a fairer rating.

Was my first ride ever. I was said to my wife. Hey we might try this one first before that big ones in behind ( Shamballa and Dragon's khan) HOW BADLY I was mistaken. That acceleration was crazy. WOW. One of best and most intense experience from that day.

I was on my holidays in Salou and i went to portaventura and i was going on the furios baco. When i got in the queue the ride was down for technical issues and that was a half an hour added on to time (40/50 minutes) When the ride was finally back up i got on it and it was EPIC. Its so fast IT WAS SO FUN

Like a wing-rider just with a launch and it packs a big punch in a small coaster I like it!

I was on this ride last Thursday and I didnt know to expect cause I barely saw the ride, just in the end u see the speed that people rode in it. It takes you pretty fast from the beggining and I remember my face face on the camera, terrified:)) Didnt go on Shambala though, It was my first experience on a fast rolercoaster and I liked it.

I went on this ride last week, it was my first time visiting. My girlfriend doesn’t like big rides and we decided to go on this one first as looking at the map there is no big drops. We ended up waiting 3 hours to go on this ride but goddamn it was worth it. We didn’t think it would have gone that fast but we were so shocked 😂😂😂 when watching the short film at the start we was caught by such surprise 😂😂😂it goes so fast and makes your stomach drop but it surely is an amazing ride and me and my girlfriend loved it. Make sure you give it a try 👌🏼👌🏼

Got on this a few days ago after watching the RUclips videos and thinking “it’s not that fast” OMG I was wrong. You’re literally sitting there and the carts pull back like a slingshot before you catapult around the track. The first few seconds I was in total shock at the speed! Such a great ride but once did it for me!

An Intamin Accelerator wing coaster is the best thing I've ever heard
The first ride i hopped on when i visited Port Aventura was Furious Baco, even though i was focused on riding Dragon Khan, because it's the first ride you find when you cross the gates. Anyways, i got in with my friends, and i started recording with my cellphone. I thought it wouldn't be that bad, and i got distracted with the show before the launching. So distracted that i did a mistake.
I relaxed too much and didn't put my back against the seat, but i let my chest rest against the seat harness.
When shit got real, the whole train slipped under my ass, so i hit the seat with my head and my back, while the whole thing kept on accelerating faster and faster. You can not even imagine the fear i felt at that moment. I never experienced anything so freaking intense. I was so freaking shocked that i didn't even realize i missclicked and stopped recording at the beginning of the barrel roll.
But it totally worthed it. It was absolutely incredible.
And to anyone who think i may be overreacting, i must add that the launch was so freaking powerful that even my camera got a disrruption, thing that i found out after i checked the video i recorded.
It went white for less than a second. Not even my nokia x6 could stand it.

I can do shambhala, dragon Kahn, red force etc easily, but this ride gets my blood rushing, it's the anticipation getting to me.
That launch tho? I could have sat in that ride all day. Brilliant. Can't wait for Ferrari Land next year. That will be some launch.
I think this is more powerful launch, because it is LSM and this is hydraylic. But yeah it will be awesome!
My first fast rollercoaster was the fastest rollercoaster in Europe! :) Had a front row seat aswell.

Very interesting design, similar layout to Maverick but with no lift hill and wing trains, I'd love to see one of these come to the states, I have to say it seems a bit short; if intamin added a second launch like Maverick has and extended the layout a bit this thing would be absolutely sick
I was on this ride back in 2018 and boy I thought it was going to be gentler than it looks...

I had no prior knowledge of this rude before I went on it and was expecting a normal winged coaster like Swarm but boy was I wrong, that fucking launched took my breath away
Was on it as recently as last week blew my mind on a par with red force
