The airtime, the smoothness, the height (I've never had fear of heights before untill that first drop!), the speed and that lapbar... make it my favorite coaster in the world thusfar!
I rode it last month. It was freaking impressive. The build up for the first slope is terrifying and the firts drop is amazing (specially in the front row). Also, the ride is very confortable and smooth as silk. Shambhala and Huracan Condor ar the best rides in Port Aventura by far IMO.
The experience of a life-time! And when you think sitting at the end is special, try sitting in front. The first drop is magnificent! The air-time is legendary! My favorite coaster till now...
Looks like a great ride - as you would expect from a B&M design. Seems strange not to have the "over-the-head-supports" & just that handle to hold on to these days. A good long ride too ! - With all the great rides in the UK, I don't think we have ANYTHING over 30 seconds.
+yugioh guy yea but me, as a rider of both, i think you enjly more the more long and big drop on shambala that that kuick one ( intnse anyways) on Griffon. They're both awesome:)
Shambhala looks amazing, but the design of Dragon Khan from that further view is just beautiful. I wonder if there's a way to see how this people design the rides, because I consider it an art...
The fastest and tallest rollercoaster in Europe is now Red Force, taking the place of the tallest to Shambhala and the place of the fastest to Furius Baco
I've been hearing that this is the best B&M hyper :) I actually kinda have to agree there, no doubt. This, Behemoth, and Mako all seem like the top 3 B&M hypers. But I know people think differently. I mean B&M released this, Leviathan, OzIris all in the same year, and that was a good 3 coasters from them.
I rode this twice in the front! Can anyone share their experience riding at the back? Or if anyone has done both, could you compare it for me? Pretty please!
nickisbad In the back is amazing, because when the rest of the train is starting to go down, the back is in the lift, and you feel that you're catapulted Pd sorry for my english xd
I would recommend PortAventura to anyone. The Shambala was a great experience and it was clean. You need to keep your wallet close though, pricey as hell!
SpeedLord77 Oh I'm not actually staying at Port Aventura. In fact I'm staying 2 hours away!!! But I hope you have a great time! I will be there on the this white night though!!!
I'm going here on Wednesday. I should be tall enough to as the last time I was measured I was a few centimetres above 140cm😊 I am so terrified I don't know if I'll be brave enough to ride it.
"It's the tallest and fastest B&M (Bolliger & Mabillard) mega/hyper coaster in the world." I think your description needs an update with rides like Leviathan in existence and Fury 325 set to open within the year. Just saying.
True, but people are just going to see "tallest and fastest" and "B&M". They won't care what the difference is between the 1ft change from labelling one as "hyper" to "giga". But I guess most people that sub to this channel are enthusiasts anyway and this is all irrelevant.
Dechlan Thomson that's because of a safety feature. When it opened, furius baco hit the 135km/h mark. Altough yes, right now shambala is faster, still you feel the speed much more of FB
This B&M hyper coaster is amazing, and PortAventura just has a great coaster selection because of this ride. Great job, PortAventura :)
Yeh and the dragon khan
Agree with all of you, great top 3

Is it drill now ?

Omg the airtime in back row on the first drop must be insane omg.
Yes it is. I was on the back row and I thought i was literally flying
The whole ride is packed with airtime start to finish. Such an amazing ride 🎢
It’s one of the best rides I’ve been on for air time. It’s amazing!
@@fionaskysmith8153 I got on this ride three years ago now and it's still my favourite of all time simply for the airtime
Rubixsmike i know!
The experience of a life-time! And when you think sitting at the end is special, try sitting in front. The first drop is magnificent! The air-time is legendary! My favorite coaster till now...
Ikr and I've been on it 8 times over the course of two days I loved it. Dragon Khan was my second favourite ride
He is kinda like the Silver Star, imo. But Sista has been created in 2002.
Carmzilla101 same
I have been on this ride it doesn't look as high on camera . You can see the whole park at the top and the park is massive
they said it's bout ~74m that HUGE
@@Silverrainn16 249 feet
I loved this coaster so much ! I'll try to plan a trip to ride it again this summer :D
Are the seats secure like tight because it looks like someone can fall of
Off*
Bowzer2224 It's completely safe ! ;)
***** wait there was a wink face wit does that mean
What*
I think this is the most beautiful B&M hyper to just watch~
The best coaster that I have ridden by far!!!
I'm going there next week and this is the first ride I'm going to go on can't wait!!!
Ride furius baco. The intensity of that ride is something i cant even descrive
3:23 - a superb frame for coaster enthusiasts
This looks so amazing! i will have to travel and ride it one day!
Please post more off ride videos! I love your channel!
I always like to watch your videos before i go to a theme park so i can get pumped up
My favourite coaster to date!
shambhala is such an amazing coaster!! can't wait to go on it again! First time for me was in july and it was a amaziiiiing ride :):):)
I wish I had a theme park where I live!! This ride is awesome I would totally get on
I LOVE HOW long The Train Is
I would totally love to get on this ride 😍
I went on the ride hundreds of times and it's awesome
Rode this July 2012, waited 5 hours but it was amazing.
I hope to ride this one day, this looks fantastic!
Went on this in July aswell as Baco and Khan, amazing.
A great coaster ! My favorite one in Europe.
Holy freaking cow. This is a beautiful airtime fun coaster I ever seen. It maybe intimidating
But definitely worth it I bet. ☺
Shambala is my favorite hyper coaster, but my most favorite coaster of all time is millennium force.
I love these seating configuration on some B&M's Hyper Coasters
Best ride iv ever been on
Why thumbs down??? What a buzz that ride is.

Was i the only one who on the lifthill hold tight, en after the first drop putted my hands in the air? I love Shambhala
Excited about going to Valleyfair tmmr after watching coasters
This looks extremely smooth and extremely fun
You are right
Bernat Camps Which is smoother this or griffon
I'd rather pick Shambala mainly for the airtime and smoothnes (Griffon is an extremely smooth and awesome coaster)
Bernat Camps I think griffon is better.Just because of that awesome 90 degree drop!
+yugioh guy yea but me, as a rider of both, i think you enjly more the more long and big drop on shambala that that kuick one ( intnse anyways) on Griffon. They're both awesome:)

Nice video! This ride is awesome! Front seat FTW!
This looks awesome!
Im going spain tomorrow and going on this ride!
I thought this was a giga coaster at first.
The best damn hyper coaster ever made! Even better than Skyrush tbh.
magic mountain needs one of these, badly!!!! a strata coaster ie.....top thrill dragster/kingda ka would be nice as well!!!!
Frazette Brown not gonna happen anytime soon lol
They also need a great woodie (something like wildfire), a Giga and a gerstlauer
Hello I'm for spain and in thursday I go to PortAventura!
DAMIXAYS REMIX&GAMEPLAYS I'm FROM, for significa ''ir a'' y tú dices ''soy de''
MikiTorresHD Pero jueves 11 eh
The official name for that element is an ampersand. And yes, it's AMAZING.
The fastest and tallest rollercoaster in Europe is now Red Force, taking the place of the tallest to Shambhala and the place of the fastest to Furius Baco
The first airtime hill looks so steep going up.
Wow!!! This thing is no joke!
I've been hearing that this is the best B&M hyper :) I actually kinda have to agree there, no doubt. This, Behemoth, and Mako all seem like the top 3 B&M hypers. But I know people think differently. Tony Kim I prefer Diamondback over Behemoth. Silver Star is weak
You don't get many new coasters with long trains anymore, I guess it increases excitement and riders per hour
looks really good
I recommend this park to anyone, went three weeks ago and would die to go back.
Damn that looks fun!
great video!
i have been on that ride too in spain!
I rode and survived :D
That was so amazing)))))))))
Shambhala looks cool and all, but I wish it didn't tower over Dragon Khan like that.
Well Shambhala is themed to a mountain, and Dragons usually lurk in caves.
Crusader Cat My man!
Ryan Spann y not? That makes it 10x more epic
But both coasters make a beautiful skyline
going in 5 days leaving tomoz so excited
Riding this soon :)
I'm going here on Wednesday. contemplating weather I have the guts to go on this.
♥ that damn coaster and its figure 8
is this the same model as the leviathan from canadas wonderland?
my favourite coaster
Huh. Wonder why the park didn't use a spashdown effect like the way Griffon and Diamondback have?
I rode this twice in the front! Can anyone share their experience riding at the back? Or if anyone has done both, could you compare it for me? Pretty please!
nickisbad In the back is amazing, because when the rest of the train is starting to go down, the back is in the lift, and you feel that you're catapulted
Pd sorry for my english xd
nickisbad you can notice that in 1:03
nickisbad sorry my eyes were shut
how tall is this
249ft with a 256ft drop
little bit taller than diamondback at kings island its 236ft. tall
76 metres tall, but 78 fall
I would recommend PortAventura to anyone. The Shambala was a great experience and it was clean. You need to keep your wallet close though, pricey as hell!
Best roller-coaster ever
Stoorie030 A *in Spain
What is the roughest ride youve been on
Its a decent ride all the same
I'm going in 5 days!!!!!
tabularmite Im going in 8! could possibly see you there! wat hotel u at?
SpeedLord77 Oh I'm not actually staying at Port Aventura. In fact I'm staying 2 hours away!!! But I hope you have a great time! I will be there on the this white night though!!!
tabularmite Oh, neither am I, but i'm only about 15 minutes to half an hour away in cap salou. Anyways have a great time!
Same
ThemeParkMite I'm going in 2 years!!! 2019
Is this by B&M? If your doing Port Aventura, will you re-film Dragon Khan?
best ride ever!!
Cool,fun😄👍
Is this taller than Leviathan?
Does this ride gibbe you funny belly?
what is better period Leviathan or Shambhala?
Do u notice the loop when on it?
It looks like a loop but it's not
@@antonigimenez5858 It’s a Figure 8
I still can't believe I went on this as the fastest coaster I went on. Before this was rock n roller coaster at Disney world
I did it a few times last year. Nice high ride.
Shambhala is Cool.
You say it's the tallest hyper/mega. Does that mean Leviathan is classified as something else?
Yeah, its a giga. A giga is a coaster over 300 feet.
my dad said i might be tall enough to get on the ride this year when my family goes on vacation! :D
I'm going here on Wednesday. I should be tall enough to as the last time I was measured I was a few centimetres above 140cm😊 I am so terrified I don't know if I'll be brave enough to ride it.
Peglegmeg 08 that is what i said too .-. :3
Go animals :)
is furious baco faster than this? (DESCRIPTION)
Yeah, a little faster
I was on that great ride
I want, I want, I waaaant!
I went but there was to many hours to wait so I didn’t have time
i want to ride this !!!
Yeah
Ça à l'air trop cool !!!!! Je voudrais trop le faire !!!👄👄👄👄👄👄👅👅👅👅👅👅HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!
Next time I go to spain im going on this and dragon khan

True, true
España!!
The faster ride in this park is Furius Baco! FYI:)
And that is Europe's fastest rollercoaster
PossesedShadow For a short time. In 2016 they'll open a rollercoaster and it will be so fast. 170 km/h with a height of 110m
+Aitor Perez yea I know but the park will still have that record
FYI its 0.5 mph slower than shambhala
Dechlan Thomson that's because of a safety feature. When it opened, furius baco hit the 135km/h mark. Altough yes, right now shambala is faster, still you feel the speed much more of FB
Shambala is a "remix" of the silver star...
+Maxime Futterer Lol i was thinking the same
+Maxime Futterer They are Hypercoasters manufactured by B&M, but I've ridden both, and Shambhala is way better (Silver Star has too much brakes)
+Maxime Futterer Shambhala is much much better!
