▸ Harvey Dent is dead. Or is he? A gang of thieves thrusts Gotham City into a state of fear when they are mysteriously well-armed with military-grade weapons: flamethrowers, grenade launchers, and even tanks. And this gang claims it is funded by none other than former district attorney Harvey Dent. Balancing his two lives, Bruce Wayne must find the truth by tapping his growing network of agents, including Alfred Pennyworth, Jim Gordon, Waylon “Killer Croc” Jones, and the savvy new Catwoman. Bruce is distracted by the seemingly impossible return of another figure believed dead: his grandfather Adrian Arkham. He must also comfort his longtime friend, Gotham City mayor Jessica Dent, who is scarred both physically and mentally from her experience with the Riddler, which resulted in the gruesome death of her brother. But is Harvey back, plotting revenge on a city he proclaims to be guilty? When Batman discovers the truth behind these many mysteries, his entire world unravels..

That bat mobile is HOT AF. A realistic, yet just out of reach approach to this "grounded" telling of a dope story. As soon as I saw it, my jaw dropped. Love it 3000!

@@teleportedbreadfor3days for whatever reason each volume gets realised years apart 2012 was volume 1, 2015 was volume, 2021 was volume 3, so we genuinely don't know when the next volume will be

Honestly so wildly interesting. This version of the Batman orgin story is amazing and turns si many different ideas on its head and brings in so many new and different fresh takes and ideas on so many of the characters abd relationships we love and have gotten use to. Definitely loving some of the fresh ideas and takes here

I hope Rob does the rest of Earth One. In some ways it is DC’s attempt of making an ultimate universe of there own. It has some interesting interpretations of DC’s heroes. One of my favorites is Earth One’s Green Lantern.
Literally, I love you, I've been relentlessly searching RUclips for like an hour and a half, and I needed this video. Plus, I am now hooked on earth one, I might actually go try and buy the whole series.

Honestly, 3 is all we needed. The story was tight, well written, drawn, the pacing was great and it gave us just enough of “Bruce Wayne as a noob” while leaving open the rest as a mystery, amazing!

i actually love and gotta give it props to the story telling and world building of this series. its honestly very creative and not our typical god knowledge level batman, its a very human like batman. which i know has to be a bit risky to write, but i respect it.

I'm loving this series and that Batmobile is perfect for this type of story, an adapted supercar, using what is available, more grounded. It also runs as a metaphor for this Batman.

I’m such a huge killer croc fan to begin with and I love how he’s almost part of the bat family, he never needed to become a supervillain he was treated like one and eventually became one. I love killer croc on team Batman it’s so dope!
I haven't been interested in a Batman comic in a long long LONG time but this story line is so awesome.

The story The Character design in the story are all amazing. I love that Clayface was the main Villain at the end and how weird and obscure he is they need to make more of these
When Batman reaches for Jessica, it’s shown in silhouette. Reminded me of a Dark Knight cover I think it was.

you keep saying that phrase but i do not think it means what you think it does...
Batman is known to glare, to stare intensely, intimidatingly; with the visible bodily tension of someone ready to do violence.
A Thousand Yard Stare is a blank almost expressionless look a war veteran makes when they become lost in thought about the past it's usually tinged with sadness or regret, it's not a thing you give to someone, it's more a thing that takes a persons own personality in that moment.

Now That car was iconic.
Most if the rest just look like modified tanks and/or Classic Muscle Cars.
The 89 Mobile was originally and still unique.

I was not expecting that ending... holy..
to put my thoughts on the car, cuz i think it's dope enough to get a comment, it reminds me of the pagani sports cars, I'd recommend going and looking them up for reference. i do feel as he's in his early stages, this sort of car would be perfect as he probably had this car rusting away in a garage somewhere and decided to use it to better fit his new persona, and the armored windows are a nice touch.
