I agree with you Laura about the crumble and the crisp differentiation. I am English and without oats it is most definitely a crumble. In fact a 'crisp' doesn't really exist here... We never mix oats in a crumble mixture.
Blackberries grow wild all over where i live. I just pick a large bowl from right outside my home :D they are in full bloom right now, so i am making a crumble!
My one year old daughter LOVES your intro specially when you say "hi guys I'm Laura vitale" she just starts laughing and smiles this looks delicious by the way
I very much agree with you on the crisp and a crumble thing - and don't even get me started on a cobbler ;) However, I wouldn't normally leave my butter in such large chunks for a crumble, personally.
Laura, my daughters and I (4 and 9) always watch your videos. Right now, I am watching with my 4 year old. She says that you are bad because you eat the food and don't share with her. LOL LOL LOL I thought it was so cute and had to share that.
I need to try this! i've never had a crumble before. :( I LOVE how you always have an Old Navy top on! (I used to work at ON). Btw, someone that I work with looks just like you!
Laura, I love this recipe! In England we don't really have anything like a crisp... But in our crumbles (which are amazing) we always put oats in our crumble. It's interesting to hear that you don't. :)
she lives in the north and most fresh things she needs as cilantro and other fruits are grown somewhere else. And she's mentioned she does not live in a big city rather a "small town" as she's described it ;)
Looks so delicious, I had to make it and throw it in the oven right now. 9am and I'm making dessert... lol. I threw some chopped walnuts on half of the crumble, figure I could try it with and without nuts. It's going to be SOOOO GOOD. I have a feeling someone's going to tell me its called something different if it has nuts on it!
I was eating (not so healthy habit to eat at midnight) but as I said, I was eating some rolls (bread) with beans and cheese XD idk why I craved that hahaha!
hi Laura, if there is any chance you you can show me how to cook frozen Scallop as were I live there is only frozen queen scallops which are the medium size . Thank you
my grandma has a grape yard 15 miles from where i live, it's full of blackberries on it's side, big and full of thorns and surrounded by nettle, but those blackberries are for free lol
Hi Laura I,love to see your videos. I have done some of the dishes in my home and I have impress my mom. I have a petition for you that I would like to see in a video. I have to begin my diet, but I find vegetables very hard to eat because they don` t have flavor. If is possible can you make a video with several dressings or salsas to make vegetables atractive to eat. Please. Thanks
on her website lauraintheKitchen, there is a top tab you click where it says recipes. This is a fairly new recipe so give her some time and she will include it in her website just like every other one so far. I hope that helps :)

These puddings are a great way to use up cereals and muslie mixes that no one in the house will eat. Chuck in a half-cup to cup on the top.

This dish was AMAZING!!!! I would love to see your take on Blackberry (or any fruit) Dumplings. Its a huge hit in the south. :)
You can actually mix the sugar and the vanilla bean in a blender and you'll get more taste of the vanilla, a great tip that I've learned! xx
Yay, we have fresh blackberry's in our garden :3
I take the butter and pop it in the freezer then grate the butter as needed 🤗
I very much agree with you on the crisp and a crumble thing - and don't even get me started on a cobbler ;)

Seems you're right about the crisp as needing oats on top..a crumble seems to mean crumbling butter, sugar and flour together
I'm not a big fan of crumbles but I LOVE apple crisp! Could you do an apple crisp recipe and chicken and dumplings?

lol, 6.5 cups of berries in Aus will cost you between $35-$50. Depending on the berry. Strawberries are a bit cheaper

Nice blackberry cobbler
Looks goooood
So yummy
I’m the opposite ! This to me is a crisp! Listen to that crunch! Oats have a much more crumbly texture! Haha
Will this recipe work the same with other frozen berries, like raspberries or cherries?
No website comes up with Laura's recipes. the site seems to be down completely.
Hey Laura, we like any hot crumble with vanilla ice cream..yummy!!
Guess who i saw on t.v (recipe makeover)!!! rooting for your recipe atm.
Thank you for sharing this recipe Laura. Can you also do a banana cake in your next video please? :)
She said you can add a little vanilla extract to your sugar if you don't have a vanilla bean.

Hello Laura~ could you please cook some pasta with bucatini noodles? I have tried to cook with bucatini but all my pasta turned to disaster.
