Great setup! I love the amp and the Faber speakers. Personally, I’d recommend separating the setup from the TV-it always looks much better when it has its own dedicated space.
I recently purchased the Technics R1000 integrated and my experience with it has been nothing less than stellar. Vinyl playback after calibration w/ the included LP via a Technics 1200GR and a Hana SL is profoundly satisfying. The digital azimuth solution Technics included in the R1000 is nicely implemented. I had already used a Fozgometer when doing initial cartridge installation, and I didn't A/B against the final result after calibration, but stereo separation, sound staging and imaging is exceptional.
years in my opinion , everybody hate the technics ,why ? they look great ,good ... back in the 90's i owned 3 amp , still wanna kill myself for selling them
It's great for vinyl, but it's not so great for any other kind of listening. Hence, if this was my setup, I'd get rid of the underperforming soundbar and make use of a Phantom Centre. I thought my Sonus Faber speakers sounded great within my small 13 x 11.5 ft living room. However, it was only after I added a stereo pair of rel subs that the real emotion started to flow! Rel subwoofers that use the high-level connection are able to be dialled in so seamlessly that it's only when one switches them off does one realise something actually missing. Mind you, if you're still trying to keep it minimalistic and you're not gonna add room treatment, I would certainly consider doubling or even trebling up on your beautiful white curtains, though. Good video, and thanks for posting 🎉
40 years ago, this is what they used to refer to as Mid-Fi. It looks like hi-fi, but it’s not quite there. When you can afford it, because the best turntables are more expensive than the direct drive models, get a premium level belt drive turntable. The direct drive turntables use a servo motor. Servo motors by their very definition are continuously shifting their speed. The difference between the two turntables alone will make your vinyl sound like a completely different performance, where all of the instruments are in time with each other.
Crazy that South Florida has no HiFi shops. I just left there. There used to be in the 70’s & 80’s but nothing today like Jersey & NY. No vinyl shops either. Open a store. You’ll do well.
I have that JBL soundbar , awesome for the Money, The amp is a little expensive but very nice, I went with Advance Paris A12 along with that Bad to the Bone Pioneer CT-A9X I bought from you, Fender Edition MoFi Turntable, Parasound phono preamp J3 Junior and a NodeX to Stream , Teac VRDS 701 CD and JBL L100 Classics 75s plus more but Nice System you have. I believe I sent pics of the System to you guys. Have a good one 👍
We have done some jobs where the integrated amp is out front with the speakers and then the turntable is next to the seating position with the phono preamp right next to it. This allows you to run XLR cables between the phono preamp and the integrated and not pickup any noise.
Great SetUp , very good choices !!! i wonder about the klipsch ojas , are they good , they look amazing ( the SF as well ) i think i ll copy you , thanks and regards from France ❤
I had a feeling you got it like that Fernando when you had your Lancia Delta in the showroom going back. Great movie about that car released earlier this year, ford vs ferrari vibes. Livin nice though, good for you man. I demo'ed the Sonus recently, glorious! Almost demo'ed the OJAS last week but that fell through, my assumptions are their right on par with Valencias/Flamencos.
Love that system … those exact components If I had a $35k ish system with the streamer you mentioned at that budget I would be happy and content but I would probably want the Ojas speakers I remember you putting up that Miami system last year which was also spot on Even with correction there is a lot going on between the speakers but it’s a space and a look so I get it
If that was my setup I would space the speakers further away to each edge and corner, lose the lamp in the left corner, it just looks a bit busy with the TV in the middle. but that's just my opinion - still a nice setup of gear
The integrated is a bit expensive at 10k. Beautiful finish and I love the meters, but if it were me, I would go with something less expensive, like a Yamaha integrated. Not sure if you sell Yamaha, but that would be on my short list. But overall, sweet looking system!
Technics makes a very similar model for around $3k, that would have been more appropriate. I wanted to review this piece and try out some of its super cool features so for now this is it. Down the road I'll replace it with something more affordable and a bit smaller. Looks kinda large on the credenza.
You are gonna have a hard time getting rid of those Ojas speakers, I've hear they are incredible. I would imagine a bit better then the Sonus Fabers but I haven't heard either one.
Good stuff. A sub depending on your music and room size is a possibility. (Not telling you anything you don't know but this is YT - it must be a high quality sub. You don't want to be exchanging lack of bass for poor quality bass. I would prefer lack of deep bass for poor quality bass). Looking at your room a few diffusers would not go amiss. All said and done I could mellow here with a bottle of cab sav.
Wow , you spent all that time ,money putting this video together & no sound?! The money…. Is way beyond my reach my good man . My wife would have no issue telling me me to live in my truck ! 😂
Deep Wallet system Nice! I will never understand the hype behind the need for cables that cost thousands of dollars! Don’t really think the price is worth the performance
Dan D'Agostino (founder of Krell) designed those "rubber band" speaker grills back when he designed gear for Sonus Faber. That's why the very rare Krell speakers had the very same grill design: ruclips.net/video/-ML-Z7hw9vM/видео.html
Enjoy your system ...I don't know if you know it but this amp is full digital . It even takes the analog signal of your turntable and converts it to digital and that's something I would never buy . When I am listening to my vinyl I like to listen analog and not digital
do me a faver, invite som critical "hi-end" audiophile to listen ,and ask them why the brand technicas i hard to accept , in their "hobby" , i really want to know
Instead of spending 364$ in an unnecessary Conector and also overpriced sonusfabers (imo… 7500€ you can get Genelec 8341 wich are a completly different league), i should buy an miniDSP and some bigger moveable Basotect absorbers (between 1-2meters) to lift the system to a new Level and get rid of at least some problems. And also think about 2-4 subwoofers (diy is cheaper than overpriced RELˋs) to deal with room modes (active room mode compensation - 2 in the front, 2 in the back for example or 2x as cross positioning). Also the chair on the right could be a problem for reflections and an uneven Stereo Imaging because every speaker has an different environment around them (door, lamp, chair, 2nd Wall / Window etc)…. dont take it negatively (meant to be nice), but it think you can get way more out of it with small adjustments like better placement & some absorption (at least on the early reflection points) and of course DSP Correction. I know its nice to buy Gear, but a new streamer, new cables etc are only hearable and can give their quality when the surrounding is capable of that. Means first Acoustics & DSP Correction and than comes the gear.
LOL, this is my living room, wife is not gonna allow 4 subs and diffusers. I know how to put together a perfect system but this is more of an exercise in balancing performance with aesthetics. Thanks for commenting.
It actually sounds a bit better thank I thought it would . The imaging on the SF speakers is freaky good. Just need to add a sub. Larger rug will help too.
This ia a typical plenty money, little knowledge setup. No acoustic treatment, gear all about looks, ridiculous expensive cables which make minuscule differences.
Your videos and time you spend is best on RUclips Fernando!
Great setup man…thanks….
Very well executed! Minimal, clean, and elegant. Thank you for sharing....
Really cool setup, should do the trick! The grills are wild on those speakers! Keep up the great content!
Great setup! I love the amp and the Faber speakers. Personally, I’d recommend separating the setup from the TV-it always looks much better when it has its own dedicated space.
Nice video. Nice to see some of the items actually in situ somewhere. Much better sense of how such items can look/feel/fit into a modern home.
Glad you enjoyed! It was super fun to put together. I love balancing the looks with the performance.

So nice that you shared the selection and setup process.
Glad you enjoyed it.
finally its coming the Technics su-r1000 review of which I was waiting for months
years in my opinion , everybody hate the technics ,why ? they look great ,good ... back in the 90's i owned 3 amp , still wanna kill myself for selling them
at the end of the video you can really see how big it is
Review coming soon, so many cool features to go over. Gonna be a fun one.
Super! That would be my dream system, and apt Fernando! Well done again..
Beautiful setup!
Looks like an awesome setup .
Enjoy😄👍
Beautiful apartment and system. Congrats, Hermano.
Gracias amigo. Stay in touch.
fabulous, your content is top notch. thanks for taking the time to explain everything.
My pleasure!
Simple and understated sound system, so I love it... I am a fan of integrated amps. Anyhoo, just let the music shine and rule!
Integrated amps seem to have taken over the market. They keep coming out with great models making it harder to justify separates.
Let’s get a sound sample when you get the furniture in :)
Love the wood in the system it is a nice combination with the silver. Classy and timeless.👌
Right? Too much sliver other wise. Thanks for commenting.
Excellent looking, minimalistic setup. Wish we could have heard a sound demo!
Coming soon! I just reviewed the integrated and played a track at the end. Be sure to subscribe so you can catch it.
Beautiful set up, just need to swap out that grey chair for a Herman Miller Eames.
Love my Olympica Nova 1, great speaker choice!
Glad you got a pair, they are hard to beat. The B&Ws 805 are just too odd looking.
@@SkyFiAudio При том еще и дороже. Я в Москве выбрал Cонус
Very interested to hear your thoughts on how the KO-R1’s stack up to the other speakers in the Klipsch Heritage Line!
Review coming next week. Stand by.

Thanks mate.
Nice clean setup.
Thanks!
Love this set up, congratulations. I own the Nova 1s, amazing sound. But I did add a REL subwoofer.
Yeah, I'll probably end up adding a sub, thinking of a REL Classic in Walnut.
Crazy that South Florida has no HiFi shops. I just left there. There used to be in the 70’s & 80’s but nothing today like Jersey & NY. No vinyl shops either. Open a store. You’ll do well.
Soundlux Audio? CasaHifi?
@ I’m from there and couldn’t find anything like Skyfi. I’ll check those next time. Thanks
Because the drug money is underground

Hey I remember the CT-A9A, great deck, hope you're enjoying it. Nice system you've assembled thanks for sharing.
Love to see the Technics SU-R1000.
I have it and I love it.
cool, are you taking advantage of all the cool features?
@
Yes, off course.
What options do you have for putting the turntable and amp next to, or at least near, the seating position?
We have done some jobs where the integrated amp is out front with the speakers and then the turntable is next to the seating position with the phono preamp right next to it. This allows you to run XLR cables between the phono preamp and the integrated and not pickup any noise.
Would you consider showing a 80s/90s technics rack system like what you did with the Sony es and the Pioneer system
Lovely window view.
Not as nice as last years ocean view but still very nice.
Nice system
Damn that's nice. I would need a cd player with it. However I would just be happy to live there...
It's a great spot. My home system has a CD player sure gonna miss it here.

Dont you think the soundbar is redundant being there now? Id imagine a FAR more pleasurable experience piping the TV to the Sonus hands down.
Wooden side panels on the amplifier would complete the overall picture.
Hey that's a stellar idea. I'll have my plinth guy make a set. Thanks !!!
@@SkyFiAudio indeed I love that idea and hope we can order those side panels as well
@@SkyFiAudio "My plinth guy"??......🤔
Great video, I would like to add a Technics turntable to my setup, unfortunately Technics is not available in South Africa.
with all the chatter about Crossover specs, i wish i could see whats inside that sonos faber
What is it about the Technics amp and Sonus Faber speaker pairing that you think works particularly well?
Nothing in a BoseNTosh for 10K that would work? Nice setup!!!!
Thats real nice.
There something about the Technics look. It could definitely grow on me
Yeah it's so refined and restrained. With a touch of class. I love it.
Very nice and good looking system... there's nothing like good stereo! It's a shame that sound bar...
Beautiful set yp
Love that system … those exact components
If I had a $35k ish system with the streamer you mentioned at that budget I would be happy and content but I would probably want the Ojas speakers
I remember you putting up that Miami system last year which was also spot on
Even with correction there is a lot going on between the speakers but it’s a space and a look so I get it
Yeah the look is super important in this room. Wife loves how it looks which is a bi win.
Hi from Wales. Does the chair in front of the left speaker infringe the sound.
The speakers tweeter is right above the chair so I haven't noticed any degradation.
Pretty cool set up. I didn't know you were located in Miami. I thought you were up north.
half and half.. much like the ducks.
@SkyFiAudio nice.
Sweet system !!! 😎👍👍
If that was my setup I would space the speakers further away to each edge and corner, lose the lamp in the left corner, it just looks a bit busy with the TV in the middle. but that's just my opinion - still a nice setup of gear
Thanks for the tip, that lamp has to go for sure.
Not crazy about the upside down front face plate...

Great video....what cartridge did you go with ?
Right now I have the Sumiko Starling wich is a perfect match for the SL1200G. Gonna try out a DS Audio next.
A sound demo would be nice, RUclips has free music.
Very nice condo system! Does the Technics amp digitize the phono signal?
Yes it does! and does a bunch of tricks like eliminate cross talk etc. Plus it's a digital amp, so it has to digitize at some point anyway.
You are gonna have a hard time getting rid of those Ojas speakers, I've hear they are incredible. I would imagine a bit better then the Sonus Fabers but I haven't heard either one.
I got a feeling my wife will only tolerate them for a few weeks. Gonna be hard to disguise them :-)
@@SkyFiAudio Heard That.
The speakers look lovely. The amp is an awkward block.
Yeah, I wish it was smaller too. Gonna enjoy it for a few weeks and change it out for something with better proportions.

That's all really nice and I'm sure it sounds good, but can it do Miami Bass properly?
There are boats across the street that all have better bass :-).

If the trade off the truck what is her trade off... ????
Klipsch definitely doesn't have the "wife acceptance factor." Especially the La Scalas. But add in the beautiful Technics and she may approve.
lol very few wives would allow La Scales in the living room but I sure like how they look.
