I wish we had Turkeys in Newfoundland. We have been trying to get the government to allow them here but when they did studies it was risky because it will grow the coyote population. coyotes are also not native to NL but in the past 10 years they started to come around I guess they walked on the ice from Labrador and got on the island some how.

Those coyotes are incredibly adaptable and can find their way into all sorts of habitat! You guys can hunt them over there?
