Hope you guys know how much these turkey hunting videos mean to us right now considering all that is going on in the world with the corona virus....i am an avid turkey hunter who lives in the 5 boro's of New York City....i chase turkeys in NY CT and PA all within a 2 hour drive of my house...currently i live in what some consider ground zero for this virus and i am on pretty much total lockdown...i have friends who are sick...some in the hospital and every day we live with the uncertainty if being able to turkey hunt come May is going to be possible...so when i can come on youtude...shut the world out for an hour or two and live vicariously through you guys....it means A LOT....keep on keeping on boys...and THANK YOU....stay safe!
@@lonniekiser3612 thank you...we open may 1st...so far i got my health so i plan on going up for 4 days and camping on my buddies farm...figure i got a tent....a cot...a sleeping bag and a colmen stove...self isolate and just hunt turkeys and fish at the pond...need to escape this reality ive been throw into...you be safe and god bless you and yours too
@TheCoastalGunner I am in the same boat as you- I live in Queens. It's pretty brutal here right now. I have elderly parents that live in the Adirondacks and that is where I normally hunt, but it doesn't look too promising for this year. I might just have to do what you are doing and hunt from a tent pitched in their back yard. Only problem is that all of my hunting gear is in their house. I don't keep anything here because of NYC's stupid gun laws.
Holy crap. Going from not being able to see the bird to watching him come running in at point blank range had my heart flopping like a fish. Eagerly awaiting April 22 in WI.
That turkey was running through those pines! swinging that gun and getting him on the gopro was awesome! Perfect follow up shot! THP doing a great job of catching the hunts on film!
Good’Ole Zach Ferenbawnevershoots strikes again!! Video title should have def been...... “Home Defense Tactics used on KamikazeBird” Lol I hope y’all can keep’em coming.
Congrats !! Must be like these Tennessee public land birds. Been hunting since Saturday and haven't heard a bird gobble more than twice. Know where one is roosted. It's my final morning before heading home.
Hey guys still enjoying the videos . I had commented on a differentiator that is be glad to show you guys around some public lands . Also we have private lands as well that is be happy to let you guys come deer hunt or pig hunt on as well as Turkey . Feel free to reach out to me anytime you guys are in West Alabama around Tuscaloosa County .
In the first situation I'm wondering if a decoy setup could've helped. Do you guys have a video explaining decoy use? Clearly you kill plenty without a decoy but are there situations where you wished you had used one to close the deal?
Left my woodhaven real owl 0 58 miles back in the woods at the tree. Lucky ik where its at.WHEN ARE YOU ALL HEADING TO KENTCKY.QUICK TIP COME AFTER OPENING DAY GETS PRETTY HECTIC OPENING WEEKEND.
Thats the way it goes.... first you think you spooked the bird then after you kill it... "Gotta be positive and patient" lol. Good job sticking with it and not bugging out.
To me that’s a perfect example of taking their temperature and calling accordingly! Didn’t blow their hats off but didn’t let them slip away either! They just had to investigate! 💨🦃🤙
I'm a heavy deer hunter but I've been watching your epic Turkey hunts. Every morning now I make a owel hoot with my mouth from the Library. And almost every morning I get a Tom to start going off. Think your tactics are on point hopeing to get my first bird April 27-may 23. IF you guys comes to Mass let me know stripe bass should be here hot and heavy too.
Awesome day, certainly one you'll look back on. Let me know if you guys are ever in Maryland and want to hunt some public land up here. Season starts Apr 18
I thought when Zach had Keith sit in that spot he would have zero view to the left. Which is a shame because that would have been some AMAZING footage! Congrats nevertheless on another longbird!
I carry a rope in my pack just for that reason..A 20#turkey will weigh 40 carrying them over your shoulder by the time you get back to the truck. That was a fun hunt .Congratulations..
If you call with birds in sight they go into strut most of time. They're expecting the hen to move the rest of the way to them. Some would call that a hung up bird but really it's the setup and cutting at the bird. This can still work on 2 year olds but more mature birds wouldn't put themselves in that situation. I know you like to be aggressive but if had stayed up top I think they would have marched up there to you. That hard breathing tends to go away after some years. It will always be challenging and fun but you won't get the adrenaline rush you do at your age. Always enjoy watching you guys go after em.
Agreed..also think changing the calling I think ended that opportunity....it was a very noticeable change and didn't sound good...its all a guess though u never really know

TheCoastalGunner amen.
To a fellow turkey hunter, I know what you mean, so just stay safe so we can get after them birds later. God bless bud.

You guys are so dedicated. Happy Corona isn’t slowing you down. Hunting is great for social distancing during a pandemic and without one.
Zach: "we just gotta try to be quiet"
1 step later: sounds like walking on golden grahams lol

"They're good at it man"....is a great explanation of all parties involved.
That was awesome. Positive and patience. Something we all need more of. 👍🦃
Congratulations Zach up close and personal!!! Keith got this filming down good!!! Great job guys!!!
Very nice fellas!!! Congrats on another great bird! Just a little bit longer and Missouri opens up...... can't wait!!!!
I’ve never seen a Tom run in that fast. I’ve had them run away that fast. Lol. I think he wanted to mount Zach.
Hahaha
Ha ! as the breathing gets more labored as the turkey gets closer !! gotta love it !
Keith is hiding some hens with that passcode!
You can get any more real than this!!! THP makes some incredible hunting vids!!! Love the work you guys put into these!!👍
15:55 I've been noticing the camera work by this young man. This great shot by Zack is a standout. Really, the whole team is first rate.
When they are that close you can count the feathers on their snood. Nice snap and shoot Zach
I started watching you guys when you had 15k subs. So happy for how far you guys have come.
Called in a 50inch longbird yesterday for my boy :) keep up the good work fellas, I’ve learned so much from you guys.
Nice bird and good call on the followup shot! It was a rough weekend weather wise for the youth season in Missouri
Awesome! He was coming to sit in your lap! I've got 4 more days till we open here in CO, can't wait!
Don't ever change guys, you're the best in the business!
When Zach hits the woods, something's going to die.
I haven’t seen anybody measure how long any of these birds are.... slackin boys! Haha
Keep knocking em down!
Love watching the videos. Learn so much from them. Cannot wait till April 25 and May 2 for the youth and regular PA Turkey season!
Beautiful country boys, 10 days till Ontario opens thanks for the content always!

Zach’s hair made him invisible in those burnt pines 👌🏻
I've never seen one commit like that without a decoy! Good stuff!
Was watching the last video when the notification comes up for this video. Back to back Zach! Congrats👍

Man, I didn't know you guys were in the newest Fast & Furious movie! That was fun to watch...way to go Zach. Can't wait to see what's next.

Zach I don’t know if you are cranking the volume on your breathing but it is cool to hear it speed up and go down by the actions of the bird!
The wireless mic picks it up well!
Good job and good luck threw out the year. You’re so inspirational thank you for your content and please keep it coming. Good work
To me that’s a perfect example of taking their temperature and calling accordingly! Didn’t blow their hats off but didn’t let them slip away either! They just had to investigate! 💨🦃🤙

Nice recovery shot!!
Nice job, Zach!
I thought when Zach had Keith sit in that spot he would have zero view to the left. Which is a shame because that would have been some AMAZING footage! Congrats nevertheless on another longbird!
On the first bird someone was breathing like they were going to do the mating!
I removed my right earbud and then I couldn't hear that heavy breathing. Lol
Getting worked up like that is what it’s all about I get as amped when I’m filming or calling for others as myself
Jim H, as long as the shotgun is the only thing that discharges then I guess that’s alright.
Awesome hunt! Congratulations THP!!!!
I carry a rope in my pack just for that reason..A 20#turkey will weigh 40 carrying them over your shoulder by the time you get back to the truck. That was a fun hunt .Congratulations..
Wow that hunt got my blood pumping! Just a few more days until I get to take my brother out for Iowa youth season. It can't come quick enough!
You guys are great!!! Keep it coming!!!

Beautiful Bird Bro , great footage !
Congratulations Zach. Now go back after the first two from the morning. They had paint brushes for beards.
Is it my device or has there been an echo (almost a double audio) with the interviews over the past few vids? 19:17 and on.
Best yet good job
you guys are some bushwacking sobs this spring........thanks for keeping it real
Can you guys start measuring the width of each birds tail fan to see if there’s and big differences state by state?
Well I guess I get to watch you guys for my turkey hunting fix. My Black Hills opening weekend got cancelled due to all this mess. This sucks.
That does suck.
@@TheHuntingPublic yea my dad and I drive 5 hours every year for opening weekend. So probably not gonna get a hunt in all season
THAT BOI WAS BOOKING IT
Great hunt and y'all should still come to Georgia. Hunting is still good to go!
How early do you guys usually shock gobble in the mornings is 4am-5am to early

Awesome hunt. Keep hammering them.
Nicely done!!
awesome video like always y'all! Nice bird!
Good job guys nice bird 🦃
If you guys get stuck in a state you guys could help other people get on birds to pass the time!
Sounds like somebody had Turkey fever ..
Or a respiratory ailment.
He was coming fast, those first two were Ropers!
