Some simple and important things missed completely: Simply, the usage of the cards ! How do you activate cards ? How does the "active hand" work, where are those five cards ? What do the "draws left" mean ? You can get cards on the run. Are they activated immediately ? Can you change active cards on the run ? Where can I see what cards I have active ? How do character perks work with card bonuses? The different types of damage-categories and how they interact ? (general damage boost, weakpoint-damage boost, one doesn't affect the other)
Same. I'm still confused, I just bought this game I don't get this starter card or drawing cards. But they say that all 15 are active. So what difference does it make which card I put first on top? Lol
I hope this video helps of you guys understand the cards in Back 4 Blood better. If this video helps you out, please leave a like, comment and subscribe! :P
If you buy a card with copper or whatever the currency is that is not supply points during a mission do you keep it permanently? And if you do, if you brought it with the currency that is not supply points and die not completing the mission do you lose it?
Hey there! Good information. One question I have is when I created a run for the bar room blitz starting point, one time it gave me three starting cards and allowed me to choose five additional cards and then another time it gave me three starting cards and allowed me to choose 10 additional cards. My question is what determines this? I get the concept that you get one starting card and pick one additional card each level but why would I create a run and on another time allows me to select double the additional cards?
@@blackninja797 that would make sense but I'm staying at the same difficulty. Some other folks I talk to online said I guess there's a glitch going around or something a bug. Oh well. Game is still pretty
@@blackninja797 it's my understanding that money you pick up is split between the players however whenever I pick up 50 currency my number increases by 50 and whenever somebody else picks up whatever amount my number increases by that amount versus a quarter of that amount say getting 25 only if someone picks up 100. And I was just playing and someone picked up 50 my number increased by 50 I went right to the buy box and I had 50 more to spend how does that make sense?
An article I just found out Google said that whatever someone picks up gets awarded to everybody instead of split, that sounds about right would you agree? In your gameplay experience

Hey guys I'm new to this game. I heard that all 15 cards are active when u play, but the same guy also said, to put your best card at the top...why does it matter if all 15 cards are active? Thanks guys
Hi there. I can clarify friend. The video is a bit out dated. At the time I made this video, cards in Back 4 Blood, were drawn from your deck over time. Now in the final build of the game, you just get all 15 cards from the beginning. So it doesn't matter the order you place them anymore. I hope this helps you. If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to ask
This video didnt help me understand at all...how do u activate the cards or when do they activate? And where do i see what is active? And how do i play a card? There is a trophy that requires u to "play 25 cards in a single match", how do I do that? This shit is confusing
Hi there, this video is from the launch of the game and has since been outdated. The main thing that has changed is that all cards now in your deck activate immediately. Before, you had to draw one card at a time. So to get your achievement, you would need to buy 10 more cards via pickups in a match. You can get those while playing and purchase them with copper.
Thanks for the video man, when I ply back 4 blood I will be able to actually understand how it works
Glad I could help my g!

Still not crazy about the card system, hopefully it gets better
It's not perfect but it's better then I expected

Any cards you pick up or buy in game you don't keep, it's just for that one game only. Although you keep it the entirely of that game
@@blackninja797 dam that sucks, it would be cool though if you did keep it permanently. Thanks anyways

My educational guess is that it my have to do something with the difficulty you pick

The cards get drawn in 3 sets of 5. The first one is free and then you pick 1 more. It then eventually goes down the line until you have them all

Why are some of the cards highlighted red?
There are 4 types of cards and they are categorized by color.
