I completely agree. A lot of people think they’re not good just because they’re not good just because they’re cheaper but I think the planet Z symbols are actually pretty solid
You’re right I do need some new symbols, but I’m broke so we’ll see how that goes Also a good tip for tuning your drums Step one Completely loosen both heads Step two finger Titan each lug Step three do one full turn on each slug until you get close to your desired sound and then fine-tune with half and quarter turns Then for the final step, add some sort of dampening if necessary me personally I like a less ringy drum sound so I use Evans earrings to damp in the sound a little Good luck
Dude you gotta change how you do this? I’m not trying to be offensive. Just. Like. Idk. Is that what you choose to use ? I’m curious? It more importantly- to test your bass drum you have to go Boom------ Booom--(2 seconds 3 seconds, 4 seconds) Boom And really let it fill the room or at least die out on its own. If you have it so muffled that it can’t last more than one second then something’s too muffled 2 seconds is fine but major major professionals on here and in my life have told me to do this this way. Hitting things so quickly doesn’t allow to really hear and any dumb sound person is just gonna go “okay the levels okay” rather than you getting to hear actually HOW your drums - tuning resonance and all, sound in the room! :) Cheers from Philadelphia I hope this is taken just light heartedly!
Thanks for the advice. I’ll definitely be trying that out. Also I don’t like my high hat either. It’s cracked in five different places and I really need a new one, but thanks.
Those look like first gen planet z’s. Damn, what a line of cymbals. But Bring your rack Toms in bro, that gap is diabolical And,,, why have three cowbells set up if you can only hit one?😂 P.s. retune your second rack Tom, literally one lug is like half a turn from that damn thing being tuned right and it is just crying for help Wicked kit tho, good sound!.
Glad to see I’m not the only one who uses the 4-tap technique for checking tuning 😅
That splash is 🔥🔥
Thanks man I love that thing
That’s a splash? Thought it was a bell.
It’s a bell
Sweet kit. Can tell she’s been used well 🤘
I'm not a drummer but I play instruments, love the cowbell and sounds good to me
MORE COWBELL
sounds like the drums from Something - beatles. Very Nice!
It does now that I think about it
Great video
nice drums
Planet z. Damn. That's a throw back
Good settings
I love drums
Can you try the ride edge?
Sounds tuned.
kick sounds great
Thank you
I like the sound of the bass drum.
I can't put my finger on it but I swear that sounds like a song😅
I thought the drums tunings was similar to Come Together by The Beatles
I feel like the bottom screw on the hi-hat should be a little tighter. Thats it, sounds nice man
That rider is 👌
What kind of ride cymbal do you use because I play drums too
It’s a Sabian B8 plus which is a pretty solid symbol for the price
What are those rings on the snare? They're cool!
When you put stuff on the snare it's either for it make less noise or to change the sound of the snare
Another floor tom maybe 18 inch would look and sound sick lol
Bro you spent days trynna tune that thing!
Lovely kit! Is there a reason that you have the floor tom face directly up?
Yeah, there is personally I like the floor time to be perfectly level, the same way as the snare which allows me to hit rim shots on the floor Tom
Very good cowbell
The first drum you checked reminds me of the intro " Come And Get Your Love" by the Redbone
Just so you know it's called the snare. (I'm not trying to be rude just trying to help out)
@@Fish_375 I understand. My english is not that good
@@Petar-c6p Your fine man. The more you use it the better you'll get.
Did anyone else hear thick of it when he was testing💀😭
got that planet z crash ride my self, it’s incredible for the price
I completely agree. A lot of people think they’re not good just because they’re not good just because they’re cheaper but I think the planet Z symbols are actually pretty solid
I heard the spectacular spider man opening at the start
girl, close your eyes...
Rad. Do you prefer electronic sets or acoustic ones?
Definitely acoustic
It really depends on your budget and how much room you have
@@MrPickleMan22 and where you live
Cool
Ay man do yourself a favour get some better cymbals but dam I wish I could tune my drums that good
You’re right I do need some new symbols, but I’m broke so we’ll see how that goes

Cause really your drum set up doesn’t sound bad. Do I personally like the hihats? No. Do I like all the toms? Yes! But you need to let them RESONATE
Thanks for the advice. I’ll definitely be trying that out. Also I don’t like my high hat either. It’s cracked in five different places and I really need a new one, but thanks.

The Master:
Those who hear thick of it for a second 😂
No one heard thick of it
4 tap or 3 tap technique which is better 🥴
Honestly, it doesn’t really matter. Ford just feels more natural to me.
Oh yeah, the old obsessive compulsive warm-up routine.

Wicked kit tho, good sound!.
YES BRO HAS A COWBELL
Think that cowbell needs more testing just hit it a few times you know for the testing
gotta upgrade those cymbals
Silk sonic
the rack toms sound really choked to me…
Guys!! Big debate!! Remo or Evans? Create a war in the replies
Evans will always be better!!!!!!!!
@ personally I use pinstripes on my toms but Evans hd dry on my snare and Evans on my kick
Needs more cowbell
Facts!!!!
Dig it
Brick House
U might need some new drum heads tho 😅
Tom’s are very dead
