Carl sent me over. Wow! Beautifully Crafted work. It's quite clear that the world around you is inspiring to you. I can totally relate. Glad 2 B a new subscriber. Have A Super Blessed Week!.....Gus
Steven Kennard, this video gives me the first really detailed close-ups I've seen of your work, plus a profile. I'm completely smitten. As a composer (in another live) I've always been interested in the behind the scenes work of artists of all types, whether writers, painter, sculptors, actors, or what have you. When I see something that impresses me, I'm driven to ask, "How'd they _do_ that?" I'm always interested in hearing creators of any type speak about their work. (I listen to a lot of Fresh Air (Terry Gross) interviews!) Your work is the real deal, Steve. May you continue making beautiful things forever.
Thanks for that thoughtful comment and for the appreciation of my work. As an artist yourself you know how often we work alone and it's only when our creations are exposed to the public gaze that we see if our efforts touch our viewers as we hope. I really appreciate your comment. Thank you. Lynn David Newton
What a great look at an amazingly talented wood turner/photographer/philosopher.
