Cora reminds me of Angelica from Rugrats: she's really mean and bratty when she's alone with other kids but acts so sweet and innocent when the adults are around. I also think this is one of the few episodes where you actually feel bad for D.W.
Another episode where I felt bad for D.W even as a kid Cora was so rude to her and somehow got away with being rude to her and to The Reads. But the episode does at least have one of the happiest endings in the show and that's never bringing back Cora into the show again.
2:17 is that bunny guy part owl? Its cant be an excursist situation since its a church....well, then again it's probably not a good one since DW can enter
I never like Cora in the Arthur series, DW is mostly the victim in the episode, but at least DW saved the wedding, so that's a big W for her. So FU Cora
Kate should have been the flower girl the whole time. Cora looks to be around Arthur's age. When girls that age are part of the wedding party, they're usually a junior bridesmaid. Flower girl is usually reserved for a baby.
As a kid I sided with DW here because I had a similar situation where one of my cousins got to be a flower girl at a family member’s wedding when I wasn’t even allowed to attend 😅 thankfully my cousin was not cousin Cora.
"How the fuck is a _doll_ gonna get a _tan?"_ I'm pretty sure there are Barbie dolls that can change skin tones to simulate a tan. There are _definitely_ dolls that can change patches of skin to reveal "tattoos" or "face paint" or other "magic" marks. They kind of go in and out of fashion alongside the grown-up fashions they imitate, though.
At one point when I saw this as a kid, I actually got Cora mixed up with Monique (referred to as "Mo"). Possibly because she is also Arthur's cousin-albeit his oldest cousin, instead of being between himself and D.W. In the original book which was published in 1993, Cora has less personality overall, and isn't directly malicious like in the episode. Interestingly, Cora also has a cameo appearance on the cafeteria line in the episode; "Bugged" (Season 8 Episode 3B), which is suspicious given how her family needing to stay at the Read house the night before implies that she doesn't live in the same town as Arthur. If that is the case, such would contrast her from Angelica from Rugrats, who lives only a few houses away from Tommy. But aside from that, next week should be interesting regarding the other wedding episode of the series.
Basically every wedding I go to has like three flower girls. I don’t understand the point in choosing just one, seems like a great way to show kids high school cattiness unnecessarily early.
It funny that Cora believe she the most important thing during the wedding not you know the bride and groom. I can see Cora growing up to one those guest who wear a white dress to another person wedding.
Remember when DW was sent to her room, lied she has the meanest parents in the whole world who punish her and make her work like a slave, and she talks about not being invited to the wedding cause she lies about living like Cinderella and her mom acts like the abusive and evil stepmother? I’m surprised that episode’s fantasy didn’t include Cora as an evil stepsister, or in this case, an evil step-cousin. Then again, she’d be either one.
Cora is so self centered not being concerned for Arthur when he was already nervous and suggesting getting another ring when it was her fault they lost it
Actually, there was a doll named Suntan Suzy in the 60s whose whole gimmick was that she tanned in the sun and went back to normal in the shade. She didn't last long.
A flower girl is around DW's age, right? How old is Cora? I know there are no rules about the age of a flower girl, but the fact we're rooting for DW, she should have been the flower girl to start with imo.

I honestly say that this is actually D.W's best episode you can understand her struggle of wanting to help and dealing with someone more bratty than her, you actually sympathize her plight and cheer for her when she saves the day in the end
Both Cora And Jessica were assholes in this episode! Cora was a bigger snitch than DW, a show off that she is the most impotent person of the wedding, And Jessica being an entitled mother, sides with her daughter about the locket, I think thats Karen And Kelly but in 1996

Wow, I completely forgot about this episode! 😂
Nice job matt. Can't wait for the next episode.
I remember this episode. But forgot about cora.. Maybe my mind blacked her out from the episode
I don't blame you
I honestly say that this is actually D.W's best episode you can understand her struggle of wanting to help and dealing with someone more bratty than her, you actually sympathize her plight and cheer for her when she saves the day in the end
That fu DW was timed perfectly
Both Cora And Jessica were assholes in this episode! Cora was a bigger snitch than DW, a show off that she is the most impotent person of the wedding, And Jessica being an entitled mother, sides with her daughter about the locket, I think thats Karen And Kelly but in 1996
I know, and cora, jessica, and richard are douchebags
It least D.W. actually did something good for once
I hope there will be an FU Caillou series
I never tire of watching these videos.
