@@Ron-gh4dronly notable one I remember is when darwin got very controlling for being “safe” because of that video he watched in class other than that I can’t remember so it must’ve not been over used
Gumball never really dropped in quality cuz within each season they continued to explore the lore of the show, develop the personality of the supporting and background characters and gave them more episodes. The show came a very long way compared to its simpler premise in season 1
In Season 1, the main flaw was that almost everyone including Gumbal himself is absolutely one note tropes. Gumball is an absolute knucklehead who causes troublejust becauseor whatever is in his deluded mind, Darwin is also one but with a bit of morality yet still blindly follows Gumball's antics, Anais is the smart sibling, Richard is just deadbeat and Nicole is just stress. Eventually, future seasons gave them more traits as Gumball can be smart, Darwin can have a backbone to callout Gumball, Anais can be self serving, Richard steps up instead of just laying around. And finally, Nicole is not just her stress and rages but one person with lost dreams and opportunities.
Gumball really never got bad because most shows get loonier or more abnormal. (Take Craig of the Creek for example, it went from realistic but imaginative to just plain nonsense). Gumball somehow only minorly dropped on episode ideas and it stayed its uniqueness. Every episode has some sort of character to experiment with, which makes every episode epic. If they ever run out of characters, they can literally just make a new world and experiment those characters with the Watersons. Dynamics are endless, so it never gets stale.
Yeah, it’s called flanderization, u take specific traits and exaggerate them as the show goes on. Gumball is too unique and satirical about everything so it goes unnoticed
the best joke in all of gumball and in all of shows in general Tobias: *throwing money on a hole* Anais: Money doesn't solve all problems Tobias: *fills the hole with money* it does if you have enough
If you didn’t know rob was a character before he was a villain but his character design was hated so he became a scrapped character but then was one of the worlds mistakes. Then when gumball,Mr small, and Darwin search for Molly that’s when rob escapes to become the villain he is now.
I think the best part is that he wasn't even a villain. More so the antagonist. And pretty much a good written one, but I still love how the show makes the main characters AS bad people including some of the side characters. Some bad and or actually evil people. Mrs.Robinson and that one orange lady/Karen
"The Bros" was a funny episode but I can understand why some people would be turned off from Darwin being a jerk and acting jealous like an ex would 💀.
Keeping characters disticnt is very important. A few months ago I went back and watched some early Fairly Odd Parents episodes again, and one of the most distracting problems in the show is that Timmy's Dad and Cosmo have the same personality.
I never thought about it before but you're right. SpongeBob and FOP were both my favourite show at different times when I was a preteen but the former has aged really well for me (if anything I actually find it funnier than I did back then) and the latter aged terribly imo.
Although Gumball never got bad, I'm still very worried for Season 7 of Gumball. One thing i noticed in Season 6 was that the quality of the show dropped, but like, it was only a very minor drop, but it was still noticeable if you compared the episodes to Seasons 4 and 5. I've heard that Ben doesn't want to work on the show anymore, mainly because on his Twitter, he said that he's trying to do other things now, and thats what makes me more worried, too. Mic Graves IS gonna return for S7 most likely, but that doesnt mean the show is saved. Just because OG writers will come back doesn't mean it's gonna be good, a huge example of this is Spongebob. Kaz, one of the writers from Season 3, came back for Season 9 and still writes for the show right now. He wrote famous episodes like "Nasty Patty", "Wet Painters", "Chocolate with Nuts", and alot more. However, when he came back, it was pretty obvious that he lost his shine, because he wrote episodes like "Pat the Dog/Horse", "Frendiversary", and most infamously, "Ink Lemonade".
I always see this as the kid friendly version of Its Always Sunny. Gumball and Darwin literally ruined Larry’s life in one episode just to get him lazy 😂
TAWOG is child friendly version of South park(remember episode the Faith when Gumball wanted break Alan's limit of kindness?framing him as racist on online, break up with his girlfriend Carmen, selling his parents)
I think the reason the show never dipped in quality was that it knew what it had to start with & just kept adding to what they started out with. By the end of the series. I can count on 1 hand the amount of background characters that don’t get at least one episode dedicated to them. Compared to other animated shows that tend to forget previous characters & replace them with new ones that don’t feel as special. Usually if the show introduced a new character, they would only have 1 episode dedicated to them. Then they would either leave that same episode, or just be another background character. They always knew who the core cast was & never strayed away from them. The core cast never got stale either. ‘Cause the show wasn’t afraid to evolve them a bit in order for new comedic possibilities. They weren’t fall on story arcs. But they were subtle developments that helped add to their characters instead of making them those traits. E.g. both Gumball & Darwin got girlfriends by the show ended. But they weren’t defined by having a girlfriend. Again, unlike other animated shows. Or even just other shows in general.
@@demomainintf2963 That’s another good example of the show adding to what it already had. Rob technically appeared in seasons 1&2, it wasn’t until season 3 that they started to do stuff with him instead of creating a new character from scratch.
Yes and the void lore that is meant for all the removed drafts and forgotten background characters in season 1 that is used to bring them back and add lore to them was genius. The way they put together and added depths to all the common traits of a cartoon and used them for the plot made the show so interesting the episode The Finale is a good example.
On the contrary I think one of the show's few major flaws is that Penny basically only exists to be Gumball's love interest and doesn't have enough of an arc or backstory of her own. The closest they come to giving Penny her own story is in The Romantic, and even then (as the title suggests) she's only important because of her relationship with Gumball.
@@gummypuss69 Not even true when the ep the transformation gives her more personality as a character and we get to know about her family and their feuds
This show was so addictive, it felt like it took what made the classic shows good and reintegrated it to a newer audience. Whenever Gumball was on you know you were gonna have a good time
I actually thought of something about the episode The Job. Where there's a scene where Nicole gets scared of her husbands picture with her and her kids. Reason as to why is that photo of Richard with Nicole and the kids. Is that because of camera. It had that one effect that older phones in general haven't had in a long time. Where it made your eyes go red. I actually talked this with my Dad a few years ago. He said why not try it. Of course because I didn't want to become blind that never happened. But, ad of recent if thought about that scene and that talk with my Dad. About how older phones used to do that when you finally took the picture. Phones thses days don't do that. And because of this episode coming in a time where phones used to do that when finally taking the picture. I've become or I'm a little nostalgic for that one thing. And thanks to this episode and me thinking about it. I give it a watch for that and rest of it's quality's. Especially give a watch with that other episode of gumball. One where the family loses there money and have to do a ad to save there world. Before it becomes how the show is made. That scene of just that is why I think you should watch that episode. It's really funny. Like Larry's line of "Then hurry up before it's too late". And for the other quality's like the scene where the hole town becomes less detailed. Really good. Really funny. Also same for The job.
I'd put it at top 5, but my list is all equally spectacular. Courage the cowardly dog, gumball, avatar the last airbender, teen titans (2003) and season 1-3 of spongebob .
It definitely changed Gumball himself for the worse (in terms of his morality), but that could definitely just be attributed to the people growing up and losing his innocence. (In terms of in-show reasons lol)
Gumball in the 2010s was the more evolved version of Billy and Mandy both shows never fell off both relied on dark humor and spoofs that were done right both shows aired for a similar amount of time for gumball 2011-2019 and Billy and Mandy(counting grim and evil)2001-2008 and both shows were overshadowed by their contemporaries during their respective runs but got more respect in recent times I.E gumball being overshadowed by adventure time and regular show and Billy and Mandy overshadowed by Ed Edd n Eddy and knd. It was so amazing , English wasnt my first language but watching those shows like Adventure Time , Steven Universe , Uncle Grandpa , and etc. broaden my vocabulary and I loved every single episode of them
Ngl Gumball's accurate representation of Anais' suffering as a gifted kid is so good, there is two season 1 episodes about it, like the one she is constantly being pressured to make advanced activities when she is literally still a kid and wants to have fun.
thankfuly in the 1st season she's wasn't evil unlike through the next season where she's started to becoming into a harsh, severe, dislikeable, diabolical, sinful toddler whom aren't really smart enough to realize what a cruel stuff she have done, especially when she's was a baby, i have a doubt that she remember making them suffering since that age, if she could, she would'd apologise to them, of course she's doesn't know everything, the whole elmore are filled with such an ignorant folks whos being jerky constantly
Don’t forget, regular show it never got bad and it had a whopping eight seasons (+ a movie) which is pretty surprising, and they had a good record too so I’d say they’re up with the amazing world of gumball as well Edit: how am I getting so many likes and getting disrespected at the same time😭
@@watchforever1724 Well either way I just can’t forgive them paring up Mordecai with some random bat lady that never existed prior to the finale. There are other reasons for why it was bad of course but this is one of the main ones.
While I wouldn't call the later seasons bad they are definitely weaker than the earlier seasons. I'm pretty sure that the show itself acknowledged that near the ending
I feel like a better example of a show changing drastically yet keeping up the same quality and even getting better as time went on is Adventure Time which still manages to uphold that same level of quality to this day with new sequel shows.
the thing I loved about gumball is that as it progressed it got more and more surreal which made it more unique, it didn't just become another cartoon, it remained it's own thing for all of it's seasons.
Gumball is definitely one of the best animated cartoons in my opinion. It would easily be in my top 5 up there with American Dad, Hey Arnold & Teen Titans.
It's not that shows always go bad after a long time It's just that they change. In a way they die and get reborn into some kind of Frankenstein of itself. American Dad has gone on for years and it didn't go bad it just changed, Adventure time has 10 seasons and now a spinoff series but it's still good if not better. It went from your average kid's show to something deeper, it got depressed and existential for a little while and then started getting more realistic/relatable. As relatable as it could get for a show with magic and vampires. All in all, I think it depends on the show, some times it really should have just ended with a few seasons but other times a show can grow into something entirely different. Sometimes it's bad and sometimes it's good.
TAWOG is like how the village of Brigadoon is. An enchanted thing that only appears for a while before disappearing, and then coming back, only it’s (thankfully) not every 100 years, and it takes a different form.
Season 3 may be the best season of gumball, but season 6 has a special place in my heart because every episode in that season is either really good or really bad, and when it's really good it's one of the best episodes in the series
Gumball is one of those shows when you really inspect the weird things on its vibe even if it’s a art change or voice change they still keep it the same
gintama is series that never got bad as well. 369 episodes with no strong sign of decline is impressive that still has a mostly episodic structure. It also does some changes such as new characters, focus on different characters etc.
Tawog was definitely my favorite show ever, I remember I went to indonesia when I was really really young and all that was on the tv would be Cartoon Network playing gumball and that's what made me love it
Actually I found Billy and Mandy's final season to be a minor case of Seasonal Rot, its easily the weakest of all the Seasons. (Dexter's Laboratory also had it worse than all the CN shows tbh) Though it didn't get as bad as the shows mentioned. Though I think its more common for final seasons of some shows to be their worst. I think Ed Edd n Eddy had the same problem, in that I feel its last season was a case of Seasonal rot. But yeah, I agree Gumball is one of those examples that got better with each passing season. Where Season 1 is the worst, it just grows from there.
Agreed with you're statement, though i whould whould say yes to the Dexter's Lab, Ed Edd n Eddy seasonal rot. Even the original powerpuff girl's last 2 seasons were'nt that good@@rickyronny4019

TAWOG literally has a total of one episode out of 240 that I hate (The Nuisance if you're wondering). I've always been blown away by shows that can maintain a consistent output, especially when they exceed about 100+ episodes, and I think Gumball's one of the only shows I can assign that to.
Honestly tho. While Korra wasn't _as_ good as the original show it was enjoyable to watch growing up and had some good moments. But people expect it to be as good as Avatar and when it wasn't all hell broke loose.
@the_ejumper_0804 without Fnaf we wouldn't have the popularization and commercialization of the mascot horror genre. Games like Bendy and The Ink Machine are mascot horrors but they didn't directly lead to it becoming mainstream. Fnaf did. Now we have things like poppy playtime or whatever. You may observe that games of that sort take more from Batim than Fnaf. That's Fajr. I think my main point is that while games like Poppys playtime would exist, the idea of making them into mainstream sold goods is fundamentally started by Fnaf. I think my previous statement was unfair, it didn't ruin the whole genre, but it ruined the indie mascot horror branch of it. Which is more mainstream. Fnaf makes me angry because it goes against everything it means to be a Horror game. It became a movie? Movies and games are not a simular sensory experience. It waters down the main product more than it was already a distillation of mascot horror. The only thing it adds is lore implications, and I feel like the lore in question is inane and contrived. It seems like it doesn't have a clear vision of anything and just adds and adds without a clear point of reference. Let's simplify this, what exactly do we have here? A game that's outer shell of horror is based on cheap jumpscares, a lore that is hilariously dark and contrived for such a simple game, lore itself that is just adding without revealing stuff already there. And an end product that let to the consumerist nightmare that is modern mascot horror
Hot take: Gumball dipped in quality in season 6. Personally I thought in comparison to previous seasons, it just wasn't hitting the same. My personal preference, but it felt like every episode had a song and it just got really boring and repetitive. Any time a new episode came out, I'd watch it and almost always at around the 5 minute mark they'd sing a song which to me just got really irritating. Plus, the VAs just didn't hit like the previous did. Call me crazy, but when it was Logan Grove (S1-S3) and Jacob Hopkins (S3-S5) playing gumball at their respective periods, their voices sort of blended in and there felt like more continuity. Cantu has a very noticeable voice and there was a clear difference as season 6 went on. Started off ok in season 5, but as season 6 progressed, it felt less like Gumball and more like someone trying to play Gumball and not really immersed in the role. Meanwhile, Darwin's VA became WAY more squeaky, which is ironic given the piglet on helium joke from S2, but the VA just sounded really irritating to listen to in comparison to the others. Also, Darwin was way dumber in season 6 and that was also almost a pain to watch. They pretty much screwed up his character to just become comic relief. One thing that sticks with me is how he acted in The Vision compared to in The Neighbour, in that he makes the "throat slit" sign to reference dying, yet in the Neighbour, he assumes it is "pretending to be a duck" . He'd really dropped in intelligence and it was for no real reason at all. Ironically, the episode I enjoyed the most in Season 6 was The News, which pretty much gave Gumball and Darwin the least screentime aside from The Singing. I guess at that point, I'd just grown to dislike them. Again, call me crazy. Just my opinion. Don't kill me, please. TLDR: IMO Gumball dropped in quality in S6 due to a variety of factors (VAs, irritating songs, Darwin becoming dumber and more irritating)
I fucking love Gumball oh my god I could spend days speaking about how good it is. It’s for all ages, you can watch it when you’re a child, rewatch it when you’re a teenager, and even watch it AGAIN when you’re an adult.
@@devinmcneal7694 same, when I heard it in the video I was like ayo? Am I hearing this right? (Sonic was my favorite character in that game, probably because he was the only character I really knew at the time 😭)
I remember when i watched the trailer for the series when i was 8 years old. I found it weird and unique so i decided to watch it. And i kept watching it until season 5 i think. But recently i watched some clips from the show to catch up. I really loved the show. I can say it was actually my favourite among modern CN series. (With the second being Regular Show)
Ngl, as a kid that group up with Gumball from Day 1 when it premiered in 2011, I didn't really like how meta it became later on, it felt like every episode had to have a meta joke which made them feel overall less special since there was an over abundance of them. I still think it's a pretty good show, but man CN just needs to stop airing it in re-runs, speaking for myself I've seen the show so much I don't want to see an episode for a good couple years just cause I've seen it so much
Gumball didnt really became meta lmao if you look between each season most of the meta eps are far and few between stop getting your opinions off from reddit and twitter
Gumball being meta is it's identify, weather you like it or not, the show was literally planned to be about "a school of rejected cartoon character " before cartoon network refused because it's too sad
I would say Regular Show also had an amazing transformation. It went from your everyday episodic plot to slowly transforming into a seasonal plot with actually arcs every season. There were hints of it before (Exit 4B) but I would say it wasn’t until the dome came in that Regular Show fully released its potential.
Honestly I would not mind gumball coming back as long as the quality stays the same until it ends again Anyway, yeah south park did get worse but managed to find it's footing again as of recent
2005 through 2009 still had good cartoons u casual. Cartoons didnt fall of really until the 2010s. But cartoon network carried with, regular show, adventure time and gumball
Gumball may not get bad, but surely become way too cinic. Season S1-S3 were my favorites, from S4 onwards thought it was pretty good, most of the humor became either too referencial or too meta for me, also Gumball himself started to be more flanderized, becoming Peter Griffin levels of ego-maniac at certain points. The Job is one of the best episodes of all show, and its from Season 2! It doesn't need need to be referencial, but yet is an hillarious meta comentary about the status quo in cartoons. But you don't need to get that for enyoing the episode. I feel people underates S1, it was wacky, but its the humor of the era, when comedy didn't needed social comentary to be popular. If you see it with the mentality of a shitposter elitist you're just not gonna enjoy it, but I enjoy cuz somehow reminds me of that era.
So basically you just watch seasons that you grew up with and downplay the other seasons, because you feel the humor is too "meta and referencial" when not giving examples at all, and not even watching the full show if you actually did which you didnt from the looks of it, you would notice that most of the meta humor and references are almost contained in one ep of a season most eps in s4 to s6, have barely or dont have this there are meta reference eps but there not in every ep. Also the Job isnt the best ep the Choices and other eps in s4 to s6 are more worthy contenders for that title, but you dont know because YOU did not watch the show. Also you do realize Gumball s2 to s6 is practically the same there was no flanderization of Gumball a better term is character change, s1 Gumball is different from the rest of the seasons because he isnt a jerk compare to his s2 to s6. Also s1 sucks most of the eps are not that good stop using nostalgia as a factor thats bias and doesnt justify the quality of the show All in all you lack critical thinking reflect on that bud.
I literally watch the whole run 3 times what are you talking about and why so mad xD. I never say s4-s6 were bad or something, The Countdown and The Copypats were also mine favs. But it tends to oversaturate with that humor. TheCopycats itself is a metacomentary of the MiracleStar thing, is hillarous for itself but the plot only makes senses when you know the outside of show history. Look, all seasons has scenes wich mimics a movie or a series, but at first was subtile, later it become so obvius that stoped being funny, like the refigerator episode when there's a literal 1:1 parody of Mad Max. Also Gumball always was an ego jerk, I get that, but it get higher in episodes, in The Parents for example, at the end that whole whomesole family reunion scene is just broke by his "I did for the gifts" part. And again, S1 was just wacky humor like most of the CN shows of that era, like FlatJack, Chowder or Regular Show. You just cannot say is bad because it doesn't does Rick and Morty Iq levels of humor.
@@y4g1_zx916 holy shit you are missing the entire point I guess I have to break down again since you can't read for shit. First off the countdown is a s3 ep not a s4 to s6 ep this just proves my point that you didnt watch the show. Secondly the Copycats is an example to what I've stated and that all the "oversaturated" focused meta stuff is contained in a one ep or so of every season there are eps which dont focus the meta or references which are many btw. 3rd the fact you gave a poor example of what subtile is and not is proving you dont have critical thinking that mad max scene yes while an obvious reference didnt feel fored because the scene respected what its trying to potray and felt natural due to the context of the plot of that ep which is good the ep is the possession which makes Richard a more sympatheic character and ep that is objectvely better than the Job and you do realized this show focuses on other types of humor not just those two you keep spouting at. Slapstick, dark, cringe, agressive, deadpan, dry etc and you tell yourself "you watch this show full three times" yh sure bud. 4th the fact you don't know everytime Gumball becomes a jerk he gets punished after or later just makes me know you don't even understand the show in its basic level in the ep at that scene of the Parents he gets knocked out by Darwin because of him being a jerk its balanced because of it. 5th chowder and regular show are far from different on how they work as a show and that includes s1 Gumball chowder was meta at the start and the humor is repeating the same joke of what they did in the previous scene and relies on dry humor so much which Gumball doesnt do. Regular show does meta and references too and that show is repatitive and unfunny like at least Gumball they do different jokes in each ep meanwhile regular show has the same dialogue just so many catchphares of that show its annoying because the show is formulaic and Regular show's humor is 90% mom jokes thats even more oversaturated then Gumball's meta humor. Lastly fuck you for comparing rick and morty to Gumball that show uses too much cursing and sex jokes which Gumball dosent do at all rick and morty eps are more meta and obvious than Gumball. Stop embarasing yourself even further it seems you cant give out good counter arguments to mine pls watch the show before I take you seriously

As a fan of TAWOG since the beginning, the only complaint I have towards the later seasons is Gumball becoming more of a jerk and having some of the family members missing within episodes. However, this never made the show bad, as it still had its funny moments and never really went too far.
The problem is that "seasonal rot" is really just a preconceived notion. Shows like this (imo) dip up and down in quality no matter where it is in Season.
@@rickyronny4019 I meant Darwin. Gumball was okay but the dynamic between him and Darwin (with Darwin CONSTANTLY griping on him for every little thing) made him appear less heroic in my opinion and I didn't like that. I disagree that you actually came with a good argument when that shit you said isnt even applied to most eps of Gumball you've been watching twitter clips and out of context vids of Gumball thats why you have this stupid mentality that you are displaying
That's what makes it funny though. S1 for me was one of the weaker seasons even though it's still good because the humor back then for was like 10-12 year olds and the later season's humor was for teenagers and adults. That's why the show never got bad, in fact it got better as time went on imo.

Gumball never really dropped in quality cuz within each season they continued to explore the lore of the show, develop the personality of the supporting and background characters and gave them more episodes. The show came a very long way compared to its simpler premise in season 1
this ^^^
true

Also season 4 for Craig of the creek really showed Craig’s bad side I hated him in that season 💀

If you didn’t know rob was a character before he was a villain but his character design was hated so he became a scrapped character but then was one of the worlds mistakes.
Then when gumball,Mr small, and Darwin search for Molly that’s when rob escapes to become the villain he is now.
I liked what they did with his character, it was very clever.
I think the best part is that he wasn't even a villain. More so the antagonist. And pretty much a good written one, but I still love how the show makes the main characters AS bad people including some of the side characters.
Some bad and or actually evil people. Mrs.Robinson and that one orange lady/Karen
Man i remember's og design. I honestly love his new one more.
And all that because Gumball and Darwin didn't pronounced Rob's name right.

Season 3 was definitely the peak. Every single episode(except “The Bros”)was either good, great, or a masterpiece.

Not gonna lie, I love “The Bros”
Finally someone else cares about S3 😭
"The Bros" was a funny episode but I can understand why some people would be turned off from Darwin being a jerk and acting jealous like an ex would 💀.
Keeping characters disticnt is very important. A few months ago I went back and watched some early Fairly Odd Parents episodes again, and one of the most distracting problems in the show is that Timmy's Dad and Cosmo have the same personality.
Or giving them more than one trait
Sadly this is really true

Yeah i remeber that episode. Thats when i realised Richard was secretly evil.
Did they? I mean Larry works how many jobs and gets no respect. Dude needs one job a big raise and 1 year vacation.
Rob Void arc is a good example of Gumball not being an episodic show
@@demomainintf2963 That’s another good example of the show adding to what it already had.
The closest they come to giving Penny her own story is in The Romantic, and even then (as the title suggests) she's only important because of her relationship with Gumball.

love this show, been watching it since early 2010's
Its called the amazing world of gumball for a reason. Its truly amazing!
I do gon too much. But, it's great to get it outta of your system. Even if it's positive.

@@watchforever1724 Well either way I just can’t forgive them paring up Mordecai with some random bat lady that never existed prior to the finale. There are other reasons for why it was bad of course but this is one of the main ones.
As much as I am a fan of Regular Show, the show even admitted ITSELF that it got considerably weaker in the late seasons

Even when the art style changed it was still so good maybe even better cause tell me why they just started getting funnier as the show went on 😭😭
You can see how better they got just by the higher quality animation the did season after season.
I honestly think adventure time is a better example than Gumball for this, by aging with its audience it continually got better exclusively.
Adventure Time and Gumball are some of my favorite Cartoon Network shows, and I'm glad they're both still loved.

What happened in the summer of 83??
Fnaf ruined the horror game genre
@@RiversideWren2 incorrect
Some things get worse as they get older and some get better
Gumball always stayed the best
but this cartoon never been better, even at the begining
I think at the end of the series, the jokes got way worse too. I think the show started to think that it was smarter than it actually was.

I will not tollarate seson 1 slander. It's hilarious and has some of the best epsidoes like the DVD and the Refund.
Facts season 1 is so overhated, the spoon and the gi are classic epesoides and some of the best of the series
@@watchforever1724 Gumball didn't though. It knew what it was doing from day 1.
The tiananmen square reference only dawned on me years later.
I started watching around July-August 2011 and it always blew my mind how a show was able to have these much animation artstyles.

Honestly I would not mind gumball coming back as long as the quality stays the same until it ends again
Anyway, yeah south park did get worse but managed to find it's footing again as of recent
Or improves
I watched the day it aired because it fell on my 9th birthday that and regular show.. pretty sure they aired both new same week
I still remember that legendary paintball episode
The fridge. S2 ep6
I tried making a star chart based on it when I was a kid😭
5:01 bruh when I showed my mom Gumball she loved this episode, it’s her favourite
American dad never disappoints me. 🤪
3:51 me when I eat shale rocks as a toddler. Oh don't worry, I never broke any teeth. Even if they did, adult teeth replaced them anyhow.
2005 through 2009 still had good cartoons u casual. Cartoons didnt fall of really until the 2010s. But cartoon network carried with, regular show, adventure time and gumball
Ive always been fascinated by how gumball has been on CN for so much years, its nice to see someone noticing too
Gumball may not get bad, but surely become way too cinic.
Also s1 sucks most of the eps are not that good stop using nostalgia as a factor thats bias and doesnt justify the quality of the show
All in all you lack critical thinking reflect on that bud.
@@demomainintf2963sorry s6 its the worst
I watched every single episode and i was shocked about how s6 sucks so bad
And i realised maybe s1 is not the best but i wouldnt call it bad just mixed
But s6 fucking sucks the lows are some of the lowest of the seried and the highs are nowhere nears as high yeah even the high of season 1 (the helmet i love that episode)
The best episode of season 6 is the faith but even then i dont like it as much ad my other best episodes of any other seasons: s1 the helmet, s2 the tape, s3 the money, s4 the bus, s5 the choices
@@RANDOMuser-w6iYour "argument" is basically wahhh Gumball late season bad without any argument at all your just proving my point that most people who dislike the late seasons havent even watched them instead you watch twitter clips or yt clips and thought it was unfunny without bothering to watch the full ep
I’ve seen every episode cant name names but I remember how every episode goes, this show is why I have memory issues
I think that having a jerk as the main character makes the show much more funny, I linke when characters have flaws, it's way more realistic
@@Scoitol I do too, but you really need to have more character development to make them likable.
Gumball becoming more of a jerk made me enjoy his character more
@@rickyronny4019 I meant Darwin. Gumball was okay but the dynamic between him and Darwin (with Darwin CONSTANTLY griping on him for every little thing) made him appear less heroic in my opinion and I didn't like that. Sometimes they exaggerated and had Gumball be a jerk for legit no reason, like in that episode where him and Darwin make fun of Richard.
Tawog is the example of creator having passion and never scared to experiment new things.
And to be honest, they inspired me
It’s surprising to know how bad Spongebob got in the later seasons but by the time 9b hit, things took a turn for the better again
probably because the creator was present again as a executive producer since he left after the movie but was that till his death
@@txkumoon ALong with some writers who also left and went with him return when he rejoin
been watching this show for almost a decade, it never got boring and today is still my favorite kids show ever, i wish it got continued
I disagree, it got too self aware and every character became overly sarcastic and samey.
Exactly, same goes to why gravity falls rocks as an mystery show :)@@watchforever1724
