this is a uniquely Australian genre of music called "pub rock" from around the mid 70s to the early 80s. Basically these rock bands started by playing in pubs and bars and the better ones got noticed by record companies. similar would be the Radiators with "comin home", Australian Crawl with "Beautiful People", the Sports with "don't throw stones", the Divinyls with "boys in town" and Rose Tattoo with "we can't be beaten". you're welcome.

Fantastic Australian rock band.
They did a tour for our troops in East Timor in 1999 . The videos of some of those songs would be worth watching if you can find them.
