It does SUCH a great job of breathing new life into what was previously considered one of the most overlooked and stale aspects of the game, and the nether OST by lena raine is absolutely fantastic!! After playing for quite a while in survival, I actually found myself feeling underwhelmed in the overworld by comparison lol - check it out if you haven't already!

No you want to feel that but 100 times worse? Run RL Craft go into the nether with God armor and god weapons. Fight the endless barrage of demons and dragons spawning in nether fortress because of hundreds of spawners. Only then can you do this song justice.
I love how there's still the long, slow notes of the original song along with your fast paced guitar solo. Also, I like that you chose to cover Rubedo, since it's _by far_ my favorite music piece in all of Minecraft.
If the main game has gotten stale, I suggest grabbing some mods and getting some fresh life out of it. You can tune it to anything from "Enhanced Vanilla," with things like a mini-map and better customization for weapons and armor, to having enough new systems it's like a whole different game.

JEI (Just Enough Items) is like a much better recipe book, while TheOneProbe gives you block info as an overlay on the screen, and both are considered must-have QoL mods by many people. Beyond that, I'd recommend just hitting up the Curseforge repository and downloading whatever looks fun.

I remember years and years ago my mate showed me Minecraft and he was like "the nether has really spooky music" so I go to the nether and there's no music, it's just the sounds of ghasts and pigmen. I was so confused and honestly I still don't know what he meant, perhaps he just really liked the soundscape it created. It's also wild to see the nether updated again because this memory was from even before nether fortresses. There was basically nothing but fire and death.
Steve is so powerful, he can carry 2,719,976,335 pounds of gold in his inventory, while running and jumping at the same time. (Totally didn't calculate that just now)

When I first played 1.16 with my friends on a server, I was the first to enter the new Nether. A portal, high up, close to the ceiling and as I turned around the song imideatly begun. What I saw was the Basalt deltas with a Crimson Forrest directly attached, with a huge lava ocean between. I was in love already. I liked the aquatic update, Iactually liked the Bees and Bugs update. I enjoyed the Village and Pillage update, but the Nether Update? By far the best yet. Let´s see what the Cliffs and Caves will bring.
