I'm hopeful that a 3rd party company will do what the fans want, but they could also go the other direction and try to please game freak by making it baby easy and more enticing to first time players. Honestly it wouldn't be a bad idea to have a difficulty setting like post game black/white, and I guess if anyone's likely to change up the formula then it'll be a 3rd party company.
