Don't give up. Some people like him probably are way more passionate about it and spend much more time on practicing and went through many downs. Just keep doing it, would be a shame if talents just go
Honestly years of playing an instrument means very little. If you start when you're young, you will naturally be less capable physically so you will make less progress, also you haven't mentioned anything about how long within each year you practice so I would estimate those 7 years is probably still less than a single year of Richaad's. This is to say don't fret, there's always gonna be someone better than you, and unless you devote your entire livelihood to it, there will be many people much better than you. You will however be much better than the regular person though, and that's an achievement.
There's people that play guitar, then there's guitarists. Then there's me who can't keep a rhythm lmao
