It keeps happening both because Homestuck Acts 1 through 7 was a great complete story and Toby Fox is great at writing music centered around using leitmotifs to remind the listener of events that happened previously.

I used to have a link to a really useful website that listed all of the songs, fanon or canon, that used XYZ leitmotif or song structure. It was really useful, but I forgot what it's called :(

I started re-reading Homestuck yesterday, and it's the third time I'm reading through it but I still can't believe how the story meshes so well and maintains being both hectic and confusing while somehow still being understandable.
That’d be cool as hell, but I doubt it. Noirscape is essentially just a longer, reworked Black with better instrumentation and some extra Homestuck motifs thrown in.

Which part was "that" part? The only part i noticed being really different was the part that referenced karkat's theme in the original, i didn't hear the karkat's theme melody (the part where it goes into 6/8). Maybe it was there but just not loud? Idk
I believe it's referring to the segment at 2:45 (which yes is echoed again around 4:25) where, in the original song, Cascade starts playing in the background at like 3x speed, layered in beneath all the other stuff going on. It is absurdly fast, and it's the only part I've found that's heavily modified/absent here.
