Has anyone noticed the themes of the trolls that were on the Red Team were individual while two of each theme for the trolls on the Blue Team were mixed together?
Literally almost everyone knows this but the order the song goes through the trolls themes show which order they attacked, gamzee doing the most and vriska killing the king.
I like how this song paints a picture of the battle and you know who is fighting during which part because the trolls theme plays in the background or the black kings theme. It's just awesome because you never saw the battle in the comic but with this song you can just begin to picture how it all went down.
I get chills imagining what Gamzee does in this battle. There is a fan project to make a flash for this song and it isn't done yet but it looks absolutely amazing so far.
The song refers to their battle against Black King, right? And its stated that Gamzee made the most damage to him and then Vriska finished him. The last two theme was gamzee and vriskas so the song might tell which troll did what to the king in order.

I mean, yeah Vriska finished him, but Gamzee literally in 1 single hit did more demage than the rest of the trolls togethere during the entire battle, and somehow fast enough the Black King didn't even had the chance to defend himself. I'm sure if that clown wanted, he would beat the King in just a matter of seconds by himself o.o

The slime mollifies the rage in his royal blood, making him useless in combat but a great friend. As we see later, though, when he's sober all it takes to get him to attempt to slaughter all of his friends is a little conversation with a funny puppet man.
No offense to the themes of the other Trolls but My absolute favorite part of this song is from 4:36 and onwards. Aradia and Sollux's theme just gives me goosebumps every. Single. Time. Gamzee's theme is both clever and scary, the Black Kings theme after Gamzee's is amazing and Vriska is... Well... Vriska. The entrie song is amazing but from 4:36 I just can't stop the goosebumps.

Honestly there are times I come and go so much in this fandom, from listening to osts, to watching animations again and (slowly) creating my own story (with my friends and original trolls). Everyone has overfixated on the fandom at some point, and I see, that, despite how long the time passes, I never forget about this and always come back. It might be quite similar for many other peeps, too :' )

I love Eridan and Feferi's part so much just... I can see them dancing together, their steps perfectly synchronized. They gaze into each others' eyes, just for a fleeting moment. Feferi's eyes show nothing but disappointment and retaliation, and then, seeing this... Eridan just drops her. And a few seconds later, a look of horror crosses his face.
Every time I hear the seadwellers' part, I always imagine Eridan and Feferi dancing together, and then imagine them moving slowly apart... And then Eridan drops Feferi at the end. I don't know why, that's just what happens in my head.

I really like this track for Homestuck! I love how a little bit of music represents each character, that's pretty cool. Plus the little scream (which I heavily suspect is Karkat) is kind of funny.
I was listening to this while walking home and the clock tower started chiming. This song is creepy enough on its own, but in the darkness and rain and accompanied by the discordant deep toll of a bell... it's AWESOME.
