A very brief clip of WEWS-TV 5 Cleveland kiddie show host Captain Penny (Ron Penfound) kidding WJW-TV 8's Hoolihan and Big Chuck-Probably from the 1967-68 era..I am sure he knew of them, perhaps even friends with them..Rare clip..This may not have been even shown on TV..

Captain Penny was an icon, I would watch him faithfully everyday after school. TV station WEWS in Cleveland had family entertainment covered well back in the day. We only had 3 channels but we got by, at the time we didn't know any better.

I met him. I adored Captain Penny. Didn't miss a show. My mom brought me to see him. We were at some opening. There were lines of children waiting to go up to meet the Captain and they were pushing and shoving. I must of yelled, "Quit squeesh squashing me!" He looked down the line. Why, who is being squish squashed? I put my fingers in my mouth; I was about 3-4. He motioned for me to come. I walked up and sat on his lap. This was how I met the Captain, lol 💕
