- A new Pyramid show came on the scene in 2012…it didn't last long, but I still felt compelled to conduct a quick review.

That's not the original music. That's the music for the new $25K/$100K pyramid, the original music is for the $10K/$20K/Cullen $25K/$50K.

did you know ABC is bringing back pyramid
God effing dammit GSN why does your marketing department SUCK SO HARD. I had NO IDEA this revival happened, I only knew about the horrific Donny Osmond version, and Pyramid is one of my absolute favorite game shows.. Quit trying to make Baggage a thing and actually promote your good shows, will ya?
That's okay, the ABC version is actually on par if not better then the GSN version. I swear, I'm still working on a special where I talk about the ABC Summer of Fun and Games revivals.
Why didnt you review the Micheal Strahan version?
At the time of my original air date for this video, the new ABC "The $100,000 Pyramid" hadn't aired yet.
And it's a REAL Shame that GSN'S the Pyramid didn't last long DUE TO THOSE FICKLE PEOPLE WHO DIDN'T LIKE IT BECAUSE IT WAS TOO SIMILAR TO THE OLD VERSIONS!!

because everything was right about it...except...the network...CBS should have jumped at this or ABC...and given the sinking ship that is the View...I'd expect that Dick Clark Productions and Sony will be knocking on ABC's door shortly
And just like that, the show was canceled. Although Pyramid* was never one of my favorite game shows, it was still a fun show.
*I'm using Pyramid as a generic term to talk about all incarnations.
When are you gonna start airing Season 2?
This summer, "The $100,000 Pyramid" is getting a revival on ABC! It's the game show that refuses to die...which could explain why I end up referencing it in every single episode.
Grid17Productions I know, but I'm a little worried about it. I know Michael Strahan is a good TV show host but I'm not sure how well he will do hosting a TV game show.
