@@computerhelpcc Still great. I'm sure I could shift quicker with it, vs stock; but I "click click" shift it, so actually is a slower shift (for me), then stock. I recently sold my Numeric, as my car was totaled in late August, of this year :(...
Yes! Upgraded shifter/cables/bearings is always one of the best "feel"(and performance) mods you can do! The pleasure is instant. I was honestly shocked when you showed the throw from first to second before vs after! The B&M short throw is nearing the top of the list of things to do on my JK hopefully by the end of the summer, along with some diff upgrades. Really looking forward to watching this build bro 😘
Great review of the Shifter snd Cables! I have the 997.2 GT3 in my car and it’s still a bit rubbery. Been thinking about doing this upgrade! Ur motivating me to spend money 😂 +1 for House Automotive! They always take great care of me 😊👍
Dang, that is one sloppy shifter. The stock 5-speed in my Mustang was tighter than that. I've never driven that particular Porsche but I don't remember the others I've driven being that lose. I'm glad you went with this mod and I can see just how much fun your going to have with it. Have a great day. -David
Wow, my shift knob on my 1987 Porsche 911 never wiggled like that. My Turbo had a 915 transmission, that had a sloppy shifter. I upgraded that one. Which was a major improvement.
Jory, we both love watches and drive Porsche??? Excellent... I drive the Cayenne, but I also have three kids to take with me ;-) Just checking your new channel, good luck
Nice review! Thinking of getting it at some point this year after Fister Exhaust. Does anyone know how this compares to a 981 GT4? When I drove that car shifter felt perfect in every way. Latest gen miata shifter everyone raves about but I did not care for it. Shifts felt way too light .
same, mute when klicked first, even went to random another vid to check if it's on my end, it worked just fine, returned to that video and audio was ok, never happened to me either, not on our end jory
Great video!! Numeric doesn’t have enough before/after content. It should be compulsory on all 996-991’s
I have one, and would NEVER own another 996 without one!!!
That "click click" bolt action feel is phenomenal!!
? still like it a year later or did the charm wear off

So glad the shift mechanism mod turned out fantastic for you.
Great vid! Looking forward to more. Find a friend who has an AMG Evo-2 and film that.
Damnit…this is the best not an ad advertisement
I'm happy the shift mechanics turned out great 👍
This is great, the mix between watches and cars!! Spot on Jory 👌, keep doing your thing mate🤟🏼

Awesome. I put the 997 GT3 shifter in my 996TT but this Numeric looks legit too
Man seeing this made me miss my one and only manual drive car... I need to get another 😩
I cant believe what i am hearing this is neat
Nice 👍🏻

Nice video Jory! What was the final cost for parts and labor ?
Good job Jory.
? 1 year perspective on this change? Have owned my 99 996.1 for 6 years now. Curious about this vs Shift Right by Function First. 😊
So basically, it's how it should have came from the factory. Gota love those mods...l0l
That’s just so wrong having Connie play with your shifter! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
How many hours did it take? I’m having it done and they’re charging me 5 hours of labor. Most people do it at home in under 3 right?
What's the yellow rally strap you have on your watch please?

Fister exhaust awesome after 4 years. 2k rpm isn’t my fav but 3-5k daily drive is awesome
No audio. I had to rest the video 3 times to get audio.
I think that’s an issue on your end, bud. 😅
@@t3time2drive maybe but I've never had that issue before. It's all good now, nice upgrade Jory.
