    Your storage space is small (in a good way) but intentional, and everything is meaningful. I really like that you have lots of different hobbies but keep the supplies in check with what you'll actually use. To me, that's a sign of enjoying the hobby itself instead of using it as an outlet for excessive consumerism.

      Thank you so much for watching! There's so many variety of products out there, its very easy to buy things you might not need or use. Keeping things in check allows me to enjoy my hobbies with what I have, make wiser choices with my purchases and not have clutter! ✨

    Dear Kiko, I very much admire your level of self-restraint for craft supplies ❤. I, too, have many hobbies, and though I know there are worse examples out there than mine, I do have a tendency to hoard. The amount of thought you put into choosing your supplies and keeping your stash limited and organized is admirable and very inspiring!

      Thank you so much for watching! I used to have a habit of buying backups for something and eventually that led to buying backups for backups. In the end I lost interest before I could even use up the backups and that was a waste of money and space...😅 I needed to change my habit so now I kinda just have 1 of everything, 2 max.

    Loved your little tour! You are smart to use what you have before buying more. I have way too much stuff and when I go to look for something I can’t find it🙃. I need to organize and not buy more!! Thank you for the inspiration 🎉

    Thank you Kiko for sharing your crafting storage ideas. It was inspiring. As a crafter of many years now, with a need to declutter some, I was wondering what was your decluttering process. How did you work through it? How did you decide on the worth of keeping something or not?
    I am an aspirational minimalist but could do with some help.😊

    • @kikosabi
      @kikosabi  7 месяцев назад

      Thank you very much for watching and taking the time to write this comment! I had a habit of buying more than what I need. Buying backups for backups of something I already have, resulting in lots of extra supplies I don't end up using. Also if there's something I really liked, I tend to buy almost every color of that product, resulting in having products I don't ever use. In order to save my bank account and living space, the first thing I did is to get rid of the colors I don't like or find myself using. Anything from ribbons, yarn, cardstock, etc. Then I figure out which hobby I'm not interested in anymore and get rid of those supplies. Any leftover bits and pieces I haven't used in the longest time, they are gone. All the supplies I get rid of, I either sell them on Facebook marketplace or donate to local charities. Schools and community centers are good places to donate to. 😊
      After decluttering, I organize my supplies by categories and have designated area and storage boxes for them. To control how much I own, I make sure I don't have more than what I can fit in those boxes. I now focus on colors I like only, which are neutrals and muted tones and I make sure I only have 1 or 2 of something. Nothing more!

    I love the way you have beauty in all your organizational items, such as the basket and the wood pieces, and even your embroidery floss. You’ve really inspired me. and also I’m trying to decide what makes more sense to purchase, something like yours that holds the embroidery hoop, or to buy the Morgan Lap Stand Combo, or the wooden frames with gripper strip, it’s hard to know.
    But oh my goodness I’m envious of your wood storage units. At 5:58 you can see two of them. That’s what I’d love to have, maybe some time. The unit you have you sewing machine on, it has a wood top, may I ask where it’s from? I bought one from our local Michaels and I’m very happy with it. I even bought the wood top, just in case. But when I got it assembled I realized the wood top was for a different cart and wouldn’t fit mine, unfortunately.

    • @kikosabi
      @kikosabi  7 месяцев назад +1

      Thank you very much for watching and taking the time to write a comment! It took me a while to decide on the embroidery hoop stand! I wasn't sure which one I would like but decided to get this stand because the angle and height can be adjusted and it works well on the table and when I'm sitting on the couch. 😄
      I actually got the cart and wooden top from Michaels! I believe its the Lexington cart and topper. 😊

    • @pennycandyys
      @pennycandyys 7 месяцев назад

      @@kikosabi Thanks for answering! I see that I got the Gramercy, and that there is no cart topper available at all, sadly.
      May I ask which embroidery hoop holder you have, and if you're happy with it?
