My cats do the same thing. I often put a chair next to my chair and they often settle down and sleep next to me. I think they just want to be sociable. Such a pretty cat.

You asked about getting the wrinkles out... Don't put it in the dryer. While still damp, iron between a thin (preferably white) towel. Let it finish air drying while it is laying flat. I would recommend washing by hand with some vinegar to set the fiber colors. Also... if you are going to use a staple gun to attach to your frame, please make sure staples are stainless steel. Any other kind can potentially rust and stain your work as well as come out due to the rust. Please do not use any glue backer boards to finish or frame your work. Over time, the glue will gum and seep through. Ask me how I know...😢. I've embroidered over fifty years now. My mom was an award winning fiber artist. These are what we found to work best. I watch several you tube channels (I still have lots to learn) and I must say that I find your work to be very high quality. I've picked up several things I didn't know and am trying for myself.
