When people do these tributes I miss him and feel bad for how much new stuff he's missing and would love to review. Glad overall the community is keeping his legacy alive.
The first I saw the OG Rogue on card, it was at a comic shop selling it for $35, which of course back in the mid-90s was unthinkable. How times HAVE changed. Since Toybiz reused that sculpt for a Polaris, I wound up painting that figure's hair to get Rogue, the first custom I ever did. I also had that old AoA monster Rogue and XvsSF Rogue.
As a brazilian, I first liked Rogue due the colors of hers uniform (same as Brazil's flag). But definitely liked her even more due her kindness and the evolution of her personality, always overcoming herself. One of my favorites xmen characters, aside with wolv, and favorite toy (retro rogue). Nice review!
I really like this series! It gives a visual history of the figures so there’s a nostalgia factor I can relate to and to see how the figures have evolved over the years is quite fascinating! Great job!
I’m honestly hoping that Mafex takes a crack at a classic Jim Lee style Rogue like they did with their other X-Men figures. That or Kaiyodo, because I really liked their Cable, Captain America, and Spider-Gwen for the anime-aesthetic. Like if you’re looking for a more Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 look, Kaiyodo does a great job.
I am also hoping for a Mafex. I skipped on Storm, but if they did a good Rogue, I'd jump on it. Kicking myself for not getting Jean and Psylocke when they were more affordable.
12:57 that Rogue is beautiful... but if one kit bashes the head ponytail with classic Rogue outfit body at 13:04 = ultra beautiful figure with sassy charms.... 😮😅😂❤
@@5POAFigureReviews I decided to get that retro version thanks to your video and one from Anthony's Customs. Thank you for the comparison. Love the big hair version.
I think what she did correct was she knew when and how to use her power for the good so it didn't ever created any internal conflict for her ,even if it was through absorbing memories and other's powers it never conflicted with who she was anymore and maybe her life which was close to her too✌️
5poa, Once you have the batman hush blue and gray variant figure I hoped you compare it to batman dark detective, rebirth and page punchers also compare it to superman like the page punchers, justice league/dawn of justice, solar suit etc. Alright? Do not forget it
It's sad that I missed out both the Hasbro Jim Lee Rogue figures But at least I do have a chance to use the new 1980s X-MEN style Outback Rogue because to me the Rogue head does have that beautiful smile that she should always have, Fantastic evolution overall Jason because Rogue, Jean Grey, and Psylocke are my very most favorite X-WOMEN from the Jim Lee X-MEN comics.
I am very excited to see the new Outback head on the Retro card body. Keep your eyes peeled though. The after market on her goes up and down, and you should be able to get her for around $30 if you're patient and look around.
@@5POAFigureReviews Totally agree, I love this mold, very muscular, like females on comics. Loosecollector company loves this too, did you check their last figures like Vampirella. I also like Shriek combo, really works for less muscular characters.

For sure
Pretty risky going rogue on Valentines Day but glad you did! Gotta “hand” it to you giving us this great video!
Ha! Thanks Todd.

@@PhoeboBuffay Hasbro has accustomed them to buying their Bratz with separate toad eyes and bathed in oil
Thanks for the hard work and this is truly an amazing video 🎉🎉🎉
Thank you so much! I really appreciate that
I miss Glenn Web so much... Taken too early....

Thanks so much Quincy! If you haven't already, definitely check out the ones made by Glenn Webb. Lots of characters to enjoy
Thank you for the video!
My pleasure, Pete!

I had a crush on Rogue, watching her on the X-Men TAS
Who among us didn't? lol

13:25 that's definitely NOT shrieks legs on rogue, but very nice informative video, keep it up!
fantastic review as always Jason 🤘 yea I'll always have a soft spot for Rogue she's the reason why I ended up liking gambit haha
Hard not to have a soft spot for her!
6:10 correction she did in the bar scene with Logan and the RV scene
Rose my favorite X-Men character
Well stay tuned, because I have another very big Rogue video coming
Needs an updated comparison video to test which figure can do the "Rogue pose" the best.
It's coming lol

Please do more evolution videos
Five more planned for year!
I gave my uncanny avengers Rouge the toy box Marvel's Jacket and it looks awesome
Nice!
I passed on x-treme Rogue back in 2011 because the figure was about twice the price of a regular legends. Probably should have gotten it.
Keep your eyes peeled. You never know.
Didn't know he died I used to watch his videos all the time he makes figures to
Yeah, he passed in 2016.
Can you swap 2003 rogue's head with marvel legends outback rogue?
So which version did you like best?
Can you do a batman evolution
Oh, I've been slowly building up to that for a while now. Part One will be a bit later this year.
I miss the morbin time memes
Same
Never understand why Marvel Girl with the short skirt wasn't built with this Legacy Rogue, big mistake of Hasbro.
Not building most female figures on this body is a mistake IMHO lol

Despite this being called Rogue Evolution, there is no X-Men Evolution Rogue.
Alas we never got an X-Men Evolution Rogue figure. Only a Burger King figurine
The 80s figure face just looks to much like Tina fey to me lol. Maybe it's just me.
Toy biz was awful
Oh yeah. Possibly the worst Toy Biz Legends
