    • Lila Rose - The Future...
    In their conversation, Zuby and Lila Rose discuss the challenging and often avoided topic of abortion. They acknowledge the heaviness of the subject and the societal reluctance to engage in open dialogue about it. Lila shares her personal experiences advocating for the pro-life movement and emphasizes the importance of remembering the voiceless victims, the unborn children. She critiques the societal narrative that equates abortion with empowerment for women, arguing that it distorts the true nature of female empowerment.
    Lila reflects on the historical context of infant sacrifice and highlights the need for courage to challenge the prevailing narrative. The conversation explores the pushback faced by both men and women who speak out against abortion, noting the different forms it takes. They conclude by emphasizing the importance of education and the growing number of voices speaking out against the normalization of abortion.

    I had a discussion with my dad many years ago about abortion. He was pro choice but anti abortion. Meaning, he wasn't going to step in anybody's way, but he viewed it as murder. I said to him, dad nobody knows when life actually begins, so we can't say it's murder . He said, you're right, we don't know when life actually begins SO WHY NOT ASSUME IT BEGINS AT CONCEPTION, and that's never left me.
    We are talking about human life. We SHOULD assume it begins at conception, because we can't specify when exactly it does begin.
    My stance on abortion turned 180 that day.

      It’s because the truth is so dark and disgusting that it’s hard to look at. Even just acknowledging that their arms and legs are ripped off is so disturbing, we can hardly face it.

    Trump is right on this issue though, it's about states rights, the US has had federal enforcement of abortion already(Roe V Wade) and it was horrible, the best Churchillian solution to the issue of abortion already exists, let each individual state decide.

    • @panzer00
      @panzer00 4 месяца назад

      Herein lies the problem: if a State decides abortion is legal, we have a State endorsing and protecting the explicit murder of innocent people.
      The role of government is to secure our Rights, the people of a State have declared that Women have a right to abortion, so they institute the State government to secure that right but, clearly, abortion infringes on the Rights of another human so then the Supreme Court must overturn that law using the Supremacy Clause.

I believe in Canada there’s a new law for assisted suicide, and I’m like “what” and in the UK you have a well known person trying to advocate for the right to die on her terms basically assisted dying. It’s ridiculous, death seems to be the preferred choice nowadays, not living, and you have people cheering it on as if it’s something good and using stupid words to cover the fact that you are just committing mur@er. People are celebrating death, and saying it’s pro-choice. No matter how you slice it it’s not.

    What I find bizarre is this:
    Think for a second. How many abortions does one person have in a life time? Maybe one? And even so, it's not a common thing.
    Yet, that's THE issue for an entire ideology. You pay taxes every day. You deal with inflation every day. There are unvetted people crossing over into the country every day. Yet this issue is the one we have to walk on egg shells around?

    The pro choice side can be quite aggressive in how they communicate their views. I think the pro life side needs to take a page from their book and without rudeness or violence aggressively show people the horror that is abortion. Most people have no idea what it actually entails and would be shocked if they did.

    • @The430philosopher
      @The430philosopher 4 месяца назад

      They're aggressive because they already know the logic behind the pro life side. Nobody actually believes that a fetus isn't alive, or is a parasitic lump of cells, or isn't human. Those are post hoc rationalizations that fall apart within a few minutes of honest discussion. That's why they can't allow honest discussion.
      They really want to support abortion, while shielding themselves from what they're condoning. So, they deflect with rage, chants, and silly legalese.

    Abortion needs to be replaced with ease of access to receive voluntary sterilization. I don't care if a woman does or doesn't want to have kids. But that's a choice to be made before a child is growing in her womb. She is no longer a singular entity at that point. We argue about the wrong thing.
    The only time abortion should be utilized is when it ISN'T a choice. When it's that or the mother and baby are both going to die.

    What's the issue? Make abortion legal and let them decide what should be done based on conversations with their doctor. Abortion is a portal to power? People don't say that; that's total bllsht. On the other hand, birth control is absolutely a portal to power. The vast majority of women had very limited control over having kids before "the pill." Also, the only people calling a blastocyst a baby are people who have a limited understanding of biology and/or simply opposed to abortion.
