that light setup is nothing short of BRILLIANT!! I'll do that for my AquaPod , but use an LED light bar and Anti-Gravity motorcycle battery (MUCH lighter than standard). I already use those batteries on my bikes. You'd be amazed at how much lighter they are!
Thanks man I appreciate it. I definitely need to upgrade to a light bar like you said. It’ll make things a lot easier in the fall.
@@GregorOutdoors I'm looking at an Ascend H12 tomorrow, and will probably pick one up. Lots of time to do the mods before our season begins. Good hunting!!
Cool set up!
Thanks man I appreciate it!! Hopefully it’ll get me on some ducks here in the next couple of weeks 😂
What type of layout blind is this? I am about to buy this kayak!
This is a DIY blind I did by myself. I recommend buying the Cabelas Northern Flight specifically for this kayak if you don’t want to do it yourself! Good luck
How is it hunting out of a kayak? Is it a lot harder to shoot out of and set decoys out of
The first hunt took some getting used to. Getting your balance and center of gravity figured out in open water was the biggest thing. Next time I’ll prob beach myself for better shot opportunities
With that layout seat can you get low enough to where your head is they only thing out of the blind?
Oh yeah? The seat is adjustable too so you can move it to what ever is comfortable. I’m able to lay out perfect and I’m 6’0
@@GregorOutdoors I have the same kayak just curious does that seat bend the plastic bar behind it at all or does it not touch it?
@@emmettcozad6830 I have the seat resting on that cross piece. I haven’t noticed any issues I’m 215lbs and haven’t seen it bend or anything. The H10’s are made pretty well
I got that same seat, I'm about 6'1 do you think there would be plenty of room to lay down in hunt in? I got a Beavertail Phantom, but it's not great to paddle, and this would lighter and better to fish out of
I’m not sure what the dimensions are for the beaver tail but the seat is comfortable for me in my H10 and I’m 6’0
