One of the LCD's clearly said to press a number to disable turret lock when idle. Because you stopped the walking motion, the locks on the turrets turned on unless you disable them.

This game scares me...it's been downloaded for months but the sheer scope and learning curve makes me think I'll be losing a lot of sleep once I start playing...
It really isn't that much of a learning curve. I'll admit, I lack the artistic talent to produce something that looks good enough to be on the workshop (I usually end up with bricks) but if you don't care about looks, it's pretty easy to build brutally effective ships. Then again with this game, "art" and efficiency don't mix too well. If we were to pit this ship against a "brick" with a lot of turrets, I'd bet on the brick.
I saw this and thought: “I can make bigger” so I made a mech that looked like a mantis, a ship that looked like a manta ray, and a mobile Klang cannon (Yes, ‘cannon’ not Klang gun) that could drill anchors into the ground beneath it on the move. I tried to load each of these onto the workshop but right before i did… An error caused all my game files to go corrupt. Including those builds so I couldn’t even load them on to the workshop: LET ALONE LOAD THE GAME ITSELF
I feel Aaron has forgotten the decorative pack is DLC, and that you have to pay for it, i.e. not eveyone has it. Just when he says about the beds not being the dlc ones. 5:58

i love mechs and i try building them, I've found a way but it requires Programmer blocks and a program (well duh) i feel that this is a little to much for a walker. considering Space engineers is a Sci-fi game? it should be more accessible, but of course it's an "engineering game" so i can completely agree with why it's hard to create. I'm not going to give up figuring out a easier way. and I think I'm pretty close
The mechs are cool, the writing is god awful Sort of the same problems with the newer seasons of rwby, roosterteeth can do really cool visuals and fight scenes but cant write a consistent story
when i look at this i think 2 things:
1) the detail and design is beautiful
2) run for your lives, Klang is coming to bring ruin

1:02 the one big concern i have right here is that that thing looks insanely easy to knock over, i mean the center of mass is gonna be really high

you dont have to own the pack to be able to spawn the stuff in you just cant place them. as far as i am aware they changed it.
