@@fbiagent9544 you, in fact, can not at the moment, since its not in the game (yet). as to how much you will have to play to get it, probably not that much in development stage, but later on, who knows.
EXCLUDING the fact that if you're smart youll get it for 40% of the price by being smart with upgrades.

@@WasIrgendWas $700 is way to much for a Polaris you can buy one for $450 or so every big sale just using the CCU chain.
The detail in this is just insane. I can't even imagine the time and dedication required to make something like this in Space Engineers. I feel extra sorry for the CIG ship art teams who will be assigned to work on this beast, but at the same time -- much like this Space Engineers' entry -- I can't wait to see what the final product looks like.

The ship advertised to fight pirates is instead used by pirates 😂
I love their in lore ship trailers as they advertise their ships as being used by security forces and use ships that actually are common with security as pirates.
its not used by anybody right now, since its not in the game. who will primarily use it? We will have to wait and see how viable it will be in certain aspects.
I use to watch you so much back in 2015 or so, and I just think it's amazing that you're still doing videos for Space Engineers. You are a very committed man and you have my respect
I love it. Earning a Kraken is actually one of my ultimate ingame goals for Star Citizen, if im still a gamer once that is possible. But at the second look, the most impressive to me is how well not just the use of the decorative elements but also the general Space Engineers style translates into the "original" Drake design

Star Citizen is easily my ultimate all time favourite game and I love the potential it has. This ship doesn't actually exist yet it's only in concept which means they haven't even started working on it yet. It probably will cost a huge amount to buy with real money. But remember your not buying a ship your making a pledge to support the development of the game. If you don't want to spend that much just buy it in game with UEC. It's not hard to make money in Star Citizen you just need to find the right profession for you.

This is a hell of nice built! props to the designer! In SC the Kraken Standard Version costs about 1.8k$... in its Privateer variant (swaps the Dragonfly - Bike Bay with Player Shops) actually costs about 2k $. This will be a ship you definetly have to go multi crew and there will be a lot of ingame costs to maintain. My SC Org has two Kraken - one Standard and one Privateer and i will take command of our Privateer - Supply Fleet :)
my Org has 20+ Javelins and 25+ Kraken and I'm waiting for the day all of them are in one place and have to be crewed xD

My advice would be to map out the interior you want first, then you can style the design you want around that.

That's how a lot of real-life ships are made. The modules are drawn out, and then the architect will go in and include the hull and motif of the vessel. The Engineers make sure it all "maths" so you don't sink in the drink.

I said to myself I'm not buying a new computer until Star Citizen is released. As in Squadron 42 full release. That was in 2014. This laptop is reaching limits of what it can be expected to do. Rockin' that windows 8.1 So just about the time I'm all crippled up in a retirement home Then they will release Star Citizen. Just in time for the bad ass VR set ups!
The major thing is about the Kraken(and its sister,the Privateer) is,they're large org ships,that have logistics trains behind them. They are not something you will solo,even with blades(turret controllers) and NPCs.
With it's price tag,and limited hull availability, along with it's size,it's not a ship for every org.
Most orgs don't even need a ship this sized,they could make due with a much smaller Anvil Liberator with a smaller Aegis Vulcan in tow for most small groups,and that will all be earnable in game,like the Kraken and it's sister ship.

I built the forklifts before I knew the Mules were even a thing, I will probably make them at some point and swap them
Hi LSG! I’ve watched a lot of your content back in the past with large ships gone small and small ships gone large. Around that time I didn’t have a pc to play space engineers, but I’ve always wanted to join the community of ship creations. I’m not incredibly skilled like others nor do I think my ships look the best but I do think that I’m spot on when I have a specific purpose in mind. So I would like criticism, if anyone well versed in the creation of ships please I’d like opinions. Right now I’ve only got one ship up on workshop but I want to become more skilled before uploading anything else.

Kraken is about 1650 dollars, Javelin is 3000 dollars. But as always all ships will be earnable ingame so you dont need to buy more than game package itself for 45-60 dollars.

I've been saying we need some kind of stealth cruiser with odst pods for ages. Fingers crossed they add them at some point now that helldivers is such a hit.

Navy tech only for the Marines. We don't get them.
EDIT: Based on the few lore snippets we've seen,they're nowhere near as good as Hellpods or ODST SOEVS.
If y'all take ship review recommendations, I have a ship I've been working on console I'd like to see some thoughts on. It's called the FSG May gu16.
GORGEOUS detail on this build... but I wouldn't want to take it into a firefight, and I REALLY wouldn't want to be on repair duty AFTER a firefight. SoOoOo many fragile subgrids...
The interior and bridge are interesting and give me some ideas.
The vast majority of "translated" ships I see qualify as pretty, but utterly impractical. They don't work well in SE, particularly in combat scenarios. Having scads of subgrids allows for all sorts of artistically pleasing aesthetics... right up until Almighty Klang awakens from slumber and drags them, screaming and cursing, back into the void. Those who design and build with SE in mind know not to rely overmuch on such things, as one's hours of maintenance and repair on intricate designs can take be rendered meaningless in seconds.
Also, in terms of price... I believe this ship costs about £1,500 in terms of real-world dollars in Star Citizen.
Or free with in game money when it's added. Worth pointing out as some people seem to think you can only buy ships with real money.

Not that it's an issue, but fyi, in SC Drake Interplanetary is the company (popular with pirates. Known for stuffing as many guns as popular on their ships, but cutting corners elsewhere to keep cost down). The ship is the Kracken.

@@fbiagent9544 that frame of thinking might be changing. They’re considering making it to where after launch you can only rent these and steal large ships. Only can buy the starter pack ships to own forever with real cash. Otherwise gotta buy old players ship license they’re selling

Exactly. So many halo themed ships on the workshop. I like when people come with their own design.
Game mode idea LSG!! Make a single LARGE station, have 2 teams on said station,probably smallish teams but whatever could work! Each team can make a specific number of small craft to help them defeat the enemy team and take there "flag" (flag could be whatever). Players can cut into the station and salvage and scavenge the station to a degree to make there craft. Players CANT leave the station! Also for added fun make the station multi airlocked and force player helmets open so and structural breach could kill everyone in an area off! Would be a fun scenario!!
