I bet that Adrenaline Dubs did a very good job voicing Sonic & the others, including Lilac, Carol, Milla, Neera Li, Spade, & even Prince Dail because they know what they sound like when they were first voice acted in that game when they first saw it which includes the cutscenes & the entire gameplay. Soon, they'll go for General Gong, the Royal Magister, Mayor Zao, Pangu, General Serpentine, & Syntax to voice act.
I gotta say, I am loving the addition of Vocals, it makes it easier to watch and for the most part they sound like the official characters. But while I love the work put into this series and overall enjoy it a lot, I can’t help but provide some criticism/feedback/nitpicks because I just want this to be as awesome as it’s premise: 1) The voice actors are so on point with the characters voices, buuuuuut, a lot of the lines feel like they’re recorded quietly, like “OMG I need to stay excited/high-energy, in character and I can’t talk to loud or my parents will hear me voice act!”, like the voice actors were afraid that if they tried to be more confident with their lines someone will file a noice complaint. While I can’t blame anyone for this, especially since I was not expecting a fan animation to have the budget for voice acting, if you managed to find actors who fit the characters so well it’s a real shame they can’t put it the energy to sound more context appropriate, especially someone like Sonic who is loud by default but even tho the actor has the right voice, he sounds like he needs to keep his voice low or there will be consequences. 2) This is a nitpick admittedly but I feel the need to mention this, why change the theme of when Lilac and Sonic were fighting the enlarged Brevon Robot? It feels like a downgrade for me. If it’s copyright then I can’t blame you, but if it was a stylist choice then I think this isn’t a very good one, it made that fight less exciting. 3) I still love this a lot, I it is an amazing effort and the quality is good, I love this series and I hope that you will go on to finish it (IDC if it has proper voice acting or not, I will love it either way). Please don’t get discouraged by my nitpicks or criticism, I just want to help make this better, especially since you went as far as voice acting and hour long episode. Take care and good luck, I am excited for episode 3 either way.
You didn't like the new Sonic & Lilac vs. Brevon Bot theme, huh? Different strokes for different folks I suppose. I personally much prefer the new song over the old one, but can fully respect your opinion. It is quite a big shift in tone when compared side by side.
