I was not seriously interested in motorcycles much, but I discovered it recently and this thing is very attractive to me. I'm quite smitten! It has style, but also simplicity, and quite affordable. They aren't available yet in the UK, but I fancy the Supernova version with screen and maybe side bags. It was interesting that you can get a touring saddle and slightly louder exhaust direct from RE too. Safe riding 👍 😄

Proud owner of fireball, resembles with every point you mentioned. Always puts a big smile in my face when I ride this. Also own a GT 650 but that is pure fun, but meteor is for a hell lot of comfort.

Hi !! I have Meteor 350 too and clocked 1500kms in 20 days with 2 long trips ( 250km in a day and 596km uphill in 2 days). I completely agree with your genuine feedback and review and second your review without a doubt. If I have to give the review it would be almost same. One thing I would like to add is that sometimes gear doesn't shift from 2nd to 1st and gear indicator shows blank while it's still in 2nd gear. I start getting vibration above 70 ( acceptable) and then above 100 ( not acceptable but ok). Pl give me your number..will connect. Thanks
what is the speedlimit in the UK? same as in Europe (100) ? My main concern with the Meteor is if it is going to fair well on Europe/UK due to its top speed of 120 ish
Totally agree about LED head lights, they are a fashion statement. I have a Classic 350 with a Halogen lamp and I have a Honda Rebel 500 with a LED head lamp. The Honda LED is super bright but very poor spread, the road is super lit directly in front of the bike , but the road side kerb is totally dark. The RE lamp gives a very wide spread of light and a beam that is strong enough for the performance of the bike. The RE lamp also does not jump around as much with vibration as the Honda LED does.

I liked your review...few small tips... especially the sound...please use a lav mic or use your mobile as a mic and record the sound separately, in the post you can match the sound...you are using go pro HERO 5, which is a class camera, again use a mic with it.

How much does it cost? - The turning radius - is it comfortable or bike tends to lean on the side a bit? So no vibrations translates to characterless! and I dont think engine has been limited, at 115+kms the engine is at its peak and the bike is not meant to do such speeds, its for a relaxed cursing at 90-115kms, Overall great review 👍
It's good to hear that the machine works fine and the owner is happy after riding such a long distance. I have a suggestion, to please use proper safer helmet, otherwise viewers would feel that you take less care and not a serious rider. All the best👍
I usually go in full gear..but due to need for frequent stop for shooting and also due to very hot weather ( in Palakkad) I decided that day to use half face helmet and also not to use riding jacket ☺️
My friend the tripper system is new and unique and like anything else will take a little bit to become accustomed to, but I feel its a good inclusion for a budget bike at this price

If you want to compare it with Cb350rs then go on take a ride of it. You will clearly see the difference. How it is good for city riding as well as highways.
I have a stellar red, matter of fact is that I actually like the exhaust sound of meteor, because it is not so annoying loud like the OLD RE, it has the old thump without being annoying, in short it's perfect
Few things I would like to say is that the cover on the tank makes the bike look horrible additionaly this colour does not look good. I have fitted the kp performance exhaust on my bike sounds insane try it out

Are there ways to reprogram/ remap ECU. Is it ever possible for electronic fuelled RE?
Too early to say...someone like Pete's performance or red rooster might bring performance ECU kit for Meteor soon

Colour is a purely personal choice , so it’s up to you 😉 ( As you will be using your bike daily)…tank bag is a local one from Chennai (400₹)

It gets somewhat hot after short rides but unless you touch the starting area around the exhaust, one need not be scared of getting burned 😃
As an owner you should be doing the basic maintenance yourself anyway, especially chain check/adjust, it's something ever rider should know.
I am planning to it myself next time onwards... unfortunately due to lockdown my vehicle has not covered enough distance for next chain tightening..
