I have AirTags on my two dogs’ collars and a few of my key rings, and when the stock batteries died I bought a cheap pack of like 20 of the batteries on Amazon and they last like maybe a month before I’m getting constant notifications that the batteries are low and need to be replaced. Moral of the story you get what you pay for I guess. Rechargeable AirTags would be a major W for sure.
Airtags are kinda the perfect Apple product: it's designed to be harmless so it's also useless, it's very cheap to make but people will pay 30$ for it, they engineered it to be cute but harder to use without accessories.
