Yeah it's ok to be human online right? lol Glad you liked it and thanks for watching!
Nice try 😂
Thank you for all these drum lessons, been learning tons!! Can’t wait to use these chops in my next gigs and videos 🙏🏽
You're welcome!
The rudiment I'm using to create this simple chop is a double stroke roll. Double Stroke Rolls can go a long way!
Learn my double stroke move IF you don’t do it and you’ll be very happy you did! It’s way easier than it seems but only a few people I’ve showed got it first attempt.
Step 1: count 1n2n3n looped
Step 2: play doubles while counting
Step 3: accent the n of 1
1N2n3n 1N2n3n repeat!
I do it slow, medium and fast and after working on that for a while I’ll throw in a few extra accent on the 2nd stroke of every double. By the time you move to just doubles your flying. It’s the best double stroke exercise I’ve ever used until you get super advanced period the super advanced way would clearly just be accident and the second stroke of every double but you have to have so much control. My way you get 2 more double strokes alternating hands before you throw in an accent which Eventually becomes really easy if you just rimshot the accent.
Your lessons have helped me a lot and thanks to that my fluency on the drums has improved, thank you very much
Great to hear! Congrats!

Thank yoh so much carlin. I recently play at 10BPM as a means of slow practice when learning something new
That’s a great idea to start slow!
Cool man!
Thanks man, been trying to spice my fills up 👏🏽
No problem 👍
Fantastic!
Glad you like it!
Great lesson!
Thanks!
Awesome thanks!
No problem!
When practicing I used to get so caught up in my hands / feet interactions I really didn't develop my hand chops as much. A friend told me to practice just hands on the kit for at least half the practice session. That's what friends are for. My playing skyrocketed and my footwork actually got better. Anyway great video brother. Love it.
Awesome. Thanks!
@carlinmuccular yeah I would watch and practice with this Virgil Donoti video called power drumming....and he would isolate limbs and just work em individually. Really strenuous stuff. I didn't like it at first but stuck it out. Gold. Peace sir!
My favorite
Ah man ... thanks
Thanks !!!!!!

Hey bro are you still playing for the church? I haven't seen any of those videos in awhile
Hi Andrew, Yes I am. Thanks for asking. This page has been converted to a lessons/drum covers only page. I have a new VLOG page that will start posting all church videos to. You can subscribe to that page here ruclips.net/channel/UCRw7WUqycDb7MZ7RtPD7cbw
Ok thanks
What snare are you using? And what heads for it? That sound is 🥶
it's by a company called @Hammersmithdrums on instagram. Check them out! They are in Nova Scotia, Canada
Will do. Ty!
what sound do you place on the electronic module above your floor tom?
A gong drum sound usually. Another bass drum basically.
Can you please explain to me why drummers angle their cymbals like that especially when they start playing for big crowds
It's all preference, it doesn't mean anything special. It supports the sound I like to get out of my cymbals when I hit them.
I DNT KNOW WHAT TO SAY. BRO you are changed my drumming completely
Your kickdrum doubles are so clean!
Thank you!
So you were the one that played "lord you are good"?
Bro i need some breakdown seriously😢 i was having hard time with some parts😅
Yes I’ve played that song on an album with Israel, it just depends on which album.
😂
That's not playing drums .
