If you are true army you will see a whole scheme of BTS and you will understand the strenghts and flaws of each members.
Let me tell you, among BTS members, Suga is the most talented musician, with or without BTS, Suga will stay as he is, so he doesnt need to shade Jimin.
All what Suga does to Jimin since rookie era to now is more for Jimin's sides, to unlock all Jimin's potential/talents in music. Suga doesnt do to others as Jin, V or JK, for those couldnt say he shades on Jimin!

Jimin's voice is very attractive. Because it's unique, very high, yet smooth and always catchy. That is why it is often called a stardust voice. Not only is Jimin's voice special, but the way he sings always leaves a deep impression. It is also said that Jimin has excellent expressive skills and leaves his fingerprints on BTS' songs.
I like Jimin's voice because NO ONE sounds like him. The most unique voice I've ever heard! It's immediately striking and pulls you in.

One of the members of Boys II Men covered Jimin's Serendipity, he even learned the Korean lyrics 😂 He watched a BTS concert and came out of it a huge fan of Jimin. He saw Jimin perform his solo song Serendipity. He likes Jimin a lot and wanted a collab with him, lol. They met at a US award show in 2021 (AMAS i think?) and he gave Jimin a really long hug😂 come to think of it, Khalid saw BTS concert too and came out of it a huge fan of Serendipity and been posting about that song too. He also went out of his way to hug Jimin and talk to him during a US award show. Jimin said they've met in hotel lobby once and talked a bit and considered him a friend.
Anyway, you're not alone in liking his vocals so much. Majority of new listeners especially the music professionals gravitates towards Jimin's vocals. There's even a recent YT videos of famous SK producers who made hit kpop songs saying they wish they can collab with Jimin because they want their songs be brought to life by Jimin's vocals.
As a "commoner" with no music background, listening to Jimin singing is pure joy. I can't imagine the euphoria music professionals must be experiencing knowing more about Jimin's vocals. I've seen fans of Jimin in Twitter who are also vocal teachers or has music background who keeps saying Jimin utilizes his voice the way he dances, he gives emotions to everything he does.
For me, what attracts me with Jimin's voice is not only the unique vocal tone, it's the way he sings. The way he sings the words, whether he wants it to be sultry or playful or heartbreaking, he has this way of singing the words (even when i don't understand the lyrics without translations) that conveys the emotions he's going for. He's so amazing 🥹
You like Jimin's tone because its really UNIQUE. Like it's hard to imitate or should I say impossible to imitate. Thanks for appreciating the boys.

Jimin’s voice is very unique. Not all men have the high falsetto tenor voice
They say "Once you Jim-in you can't Jim-out". And it's 100% true. Scrolling through the comments, I see a lot of love for Jimin and his unique voice. I too love his tone and I can't put my finger on what it is about his voice and tone that I love so much either. I look forward to hearing what conclusion you come to. I often put Jimin's song Alone from his Face album on repeat. I know you'll really like that song as well. The guitar is really beautiful.
Alone has that special place in my heart and ears and i don't know why. IT should've had a mv honestly.
You don't always have to say "and I know they are not a boy band", we understand what you mean. ARMYs are saying this not as an insult to the boy band members, but rather to simply differentiate. Western media usually have very stiff perception of what a boy band is, a Korean "idol group" isn't exactly the same and they've kinda broken that mold too, they just don't wanna be put in a box with their music.
PS. If you decide to cover it, there's a good chance that Jungkook is gonna see it - he's often on RUclips😂. Usually, people covering their music are making their own lyrics for the part they can't pronounce in Korean so that's a way to do it as well. Your voice fits very nicely with this song BTW.

We feel you we also love jimin's voice. you should check out his solo songs. For me his voice is comforting and i feel his emotions through his voice. He is not just an amazing singer but as a person he is someone we all want in our lives but not all of us are lucky to have our jimin.

The whole mini concert is great. Go back and watch it all. They befriended the drummer, Anderson, at the Grammy's. His son is a big fan and had to have a picture with them. RM featured him on his song, "Still Life", on his first solo album. The MV is so great. Check it out. Question. Can you tell from these members who had NEVER sung before BTS? They are at an abandoned water park in Newberry, CA near the Mohave desert. Nearby is Las Vegas. They filmed this between their Grammy performance and Las Vegas concerts. So you want to sing with them? Make it happen. Yes, please do a cover. Then send it to them. Sometimes, they will watch those covers on their Vlives! JK has been watching covers of his newly released song, "Seven." So. Go for it. And yes, you can learn the Korean lyrics. You can have someone write out the lyrics phonetically. You don't have to learn the whole language to sing some of their words in a song. They sing English words in their songs, but they can't speak English. I'm your biggest cheerleader. Go for it! You need to save your money so you can go to their next concert in 2025. After they all reassemble after their military service. To buy a ticket is like the Hunger Games. It's almost impossible. But possible!

They do speak English, just not fluently (except RM). I'm sure they understand every English word they're singing.
@@femmy-syahrani The guys will tell you themselves that they don't speak English. It's not a bad thing and also not super relevant to whether someone can learn to sing a song in Korean.
@@evantesseract737 - I don't think inability to speak English is a bad thing. I just don't think saying they don't speak English is an accurate representation of their abilities. There are different levels of fluency, it's not an either-or. Consider Jimin's interview on Fallon's show, for example. He spoke a lot of English. Would you say he doesn't speak English or doesn't understand what he's saying?
I agree that this isn't relevant to Nathan's intention to cover a BTS song, so I understand if you don't want to continue the discussion. I'm a linguist by profession, so this is a topic of interest for me.

My vocal coach also loves Jimin's voice and he said the reason is because of the uniqueness. We all are in one way of other aware and familiar with all other vocalists in bts as well as in the industry have great tones and voices, but Jimin is just so unique yet beautiful that his voice remains with you. wanting more of him because you don't hear that voice often.
When I heard Jimin's voice in Film out that's when I started being a BTS Army, until now he's my bias,
Jimin’s voice is beautifully different. While the others are fantastic, Jimin is exceptional.
If the truth be told, the MV made us all cry and this came out at a time where the boys finally moved out of the house they shared for 10 years ( watch the Festa 2022) it was tears all around and they anounced their small hiatus even though they were so busy in 2022 it was as if they never went on hiatus. They all did their solos and at the Jin left for military. So this song was a comfort to Army that their best was yet to come, that they not breaking up. The MV is also filled with so many easter eggs of past songs its actually very emotional. 💜💜💜

I think a lot of people fall in love with Jimin's voice because it's just so unique. It's not to say that any of the members sound like anyone else, but Jimin truly has a voice that sort of stops you in your tracks because it's unique but also has this sort of angelic quality to it. He's pretty hard on himself about his voice. He has no idea how beautiful it truly is.
Jimin sings in almost a counter tenor range and the ear just perks up when anyone sings in that range. It is markedly different in timbre from a female soprano even if the range is similar. Just listen to any counter tenor and you'll understand. It's why he's my bias.
My ear always perks up for him/ counter tenors. But different people are drawn to other voices. BTS has something for all of us.

I could see the boy band singer in you wanting to step up to the mic and lend your voice! 🥰 So in Vegas last year at their SOlD OUT PTD tour, which BTW was 6 total performances and turned the city of Vegas Purple, they still kept working on the next. They didn't sit around the pool, but had a full schedule in-between weekend performances! So not too far away was this amazing abandoned park in CA. Credit to their production team for an almost movie like quality to this live performance! It was shortly after this that they had their 2022 Festa where they were quite emotional as to the next chapter. Military service looming and solo projects, which you have been reacting to. They have no STOP!

You can use the Romanized version to learn the lyrics in Korean. It's not easy but honestly not that hard either, some people even create easier versions to help with the pronounciation. Also, I find Korean to be a very pleasant language to sing.
We're not gonna judge, especially if we can tell you tried to do it right and put efforts into learning. Most Armys don't speak Korean but learning BTS's lyrics is pretty fun ^^

PS : You've seen My Universe's MV. Well Coldplay performed it live a couple of times, and Chris Martin sang the Korean parts too. It was not perfect but Armys really appreciated the effort.

jimin kinda sounds like a robot, especially when he does the little cries at the end. it has a boyish sound with a hint of female in it. it´s very unique and all who hear him at first is blown away i have not seen a reactor who isn´t. and then when you ad his beautiful dance you are dead meat. i never recovered from that so that´s why he is my bias
you should react to jimin´s solo song lie. it´s a masterpiece. all producers i have seen on yt is in love with it. it´s really different from all the other songs you have heard more classical vibe but id even know what type of genre it is. but pay attention to the cords switch that´s all i will say.
i am no music expert but i have watched reactions and that is the key factor.
it has a musical vibe and the performance is so good so phantom of the opera kind of feel.

I was wondering when you would be hit with the Jimin effect, his voice is so unique and beautiful. There are many videos of him, his ethereal beauty parts 1 and 2, fan made but so good. Jimins high notes and raspy vocals. Once you Jim in you can't Jim out it hits you and that it. I do love to hear all 7 singing they all have such different voices but don't clash at all because they are professionals. Been in the business 10 years so are very experienced. Love all 7 but something about Jimin and Yoongi is special.

JiMin has that vulnerability in his tone, a little bit of Michael Jackson and those great balladeers cries in his oh so delicate high pseudo-female voice.
