The way he just predicted that they would take time to focus on their individual styles. Crazy. For those who don't know, BTS will be taking time to work on themselves individually and to take a break so that they can come back stronger than ever (they will still be doing some group work, but not as much). Loved the reaction, thank you!!!
Not hiatus their label cleared that , they'll be off-period which means they'll not release group music but other group stuff such as run BTS would be there along with members solo projects

When I was watching the music video with my bf, I told him that it seemed like the might be taking a break bcuz they were reminiscing throughout it. A couple days later, my bf texted me saying I was right. I have never wanted my prediction to be true, and Blake got it here too!

It's impressive how you can conclude from this song that they want to grow as individuals first for now, before the announcement. As we know, BTS just announced that they will pursue individuals schedules for now and take some break to grow as individuals. As much as I'm sad that there will be less OT7 schedules, but as you said I believe that they will comeback together stronger than ever, bring their own unique colors even more.
I think the 3 new songs from PROOF really implicate this statement, especially from the lyrics. It is bittersweet but at the end they really think it is for the best, for the to be BTS for a long time, and I'll always believe in them.
The melody is so pretty and something about it screams nostalgia to me, seeing all the references from day 1 to now I was in tears by the end of it lol. I think the chill vibe and the expressions on their faces represents contentment, not in a “this is it” way but more so “we’re closing this chapter and writing a new one.” It’s been really cool to see them grow up and evolve💜
I agree with you. BTS is still at the growing stage and is like Suga said “it’s scary how there is no limit to what BTS can do”. As an ARMY (aka proud fan) I love that I can be part of this journey. It’s going to be amazing!! 💜

i would have to disagree on the distinguishing aspect because it's actually very very easy to identify their voices once u get to know them better each of their techniques are veryyy different
Same here. All of BTS have distinct vocals that you can literally close your eyes and pinpoint who's singing or rapping.
i agree with you, i learned the members names by noticing their different singing and rapping voices first becasue it was so distinguishable from each other. i’ve always thought that’s a main reason why BTS work and sound so good together is because no two members sound alike unlike in other kpop and groups in general.
Extremely, I think hes thinking of the English tracks. I don't think he gets that bts is bts because they don't have a "cohesive" sound. Their thing is a new venture every era.
v and jimin is easy to identify. AT first i can't tell jk n jin's voice but now i'm already fine with it
@@juukw-tg6lw for me Tae was the easiest and then jin and jimin and jk were a little confusing because they all have light tenor voices but i noticed jimin did alot of high notes and jin sang with more nasality so thats how i told them apart

I like bts but I ain't digging this album. I hate this type of album since it just an excuse for not having a new and good quality content
@@minari4047 I respect that you are entitled to your opinion however I believe that most fans enjoy an occasional retrospective of an artist's work. It allows for an overview of a body of work and often patterns you've missed focusing on one piece at a time become apparent.
@@minari4047 its a summary of their chapter , so im sure we ll have the new album really soon, they’ve been busy … For me, i think Army is a bit spoiled, coz we got used to BTS giving us a new album every year , even more so. But this time it took a little longer , but compare to other artists who release albums like once in 5 years , BTS is doing amazing job
@@minari4047 The moment you say "I like BTS but-" it's a red flag. Upon that, it's okay if this album is not your taste that's completely fine but complaining and questioning BTS artistry ain't it. Idk if you're an ARMY or not but if you are, you should have known BTS better, what this album is about and that BTS don't do such "excuse" kind of stuff. And BTS is not your other idols or artists. They may do such stuff cause they don't have "new and good quality content", but BTS don't. Everything BTS makes is a quality content, incuding the 5 new songs in the Proof album.
FIVE NEW SONGS you hear me. Idols do make mini albums that contains 5-7 songs right? But everything's a problem to you guys when BTS does it LOL.

Okay so only long-term armys or those armys who has been following them closely will really understand this MV. Rm and Tae mentioned that this is for all the fans who have been with them throughout these long 9 years on this journey! It's a throwback and homage to their entire discography soo far!
Here's all the references you missed (in the order as you move through the mv):
- the formation they are sitting in is the "Just one day" formation
- The shot of the truck is similar to the one from the BTS: on stage prologue
- Jin instead of looking down looks up : reference to life goes on mv
- Tae's outfit and rose is reminiscent of "Boy in Luv (he is wearing a uniform)
- Jin's outfit is from the DNA era
- the same merry go round from "Spring day"
- Blood, sweat and tears statue in the background
- Jimin looks down at a shoe (reference to spring day where he picks a shoe up while at the beach) He is also wearing his spring day outfit here
- Namjoon in the "I need you" era with the same truck that has the same number behind him
- Hobi is wearing an outfit similar to the one in the LY highlight reel and the train behind is from Spring Day
- Reference to the euphoria shot where they were all in a truck
- Yoongi and the piano : "First love" reference
- Blood, sweat and tears reference but Taehyung and Jin swapped roles.
- Same yellow bus from No more dream, their first MV
- Jk does the same pose as he did in "Butterfly"
- They recreated the exact same scene from the Spring Day MV here

taehyung and jimin both do poses from past music videos (spring day references i think) jimin's hands over his mouth and taehyung making a frame with his hands
jimin's reach towards the camera could also be a ref to the dna hand gesture. in the og spring day scene jimin doesn't look at jhope when he touches him, but in ytc he does

Most people missed the sea waves/beach sounds at the end and the beginning. Its a reference to their fan song 'Sea' available on CD only where lyrics reference the desert becoming the sea because of ARMYs (giving life to something barren)
I read elsewhere that Yoongi's scene with the piano and flowers also alludes to Stay Gold

I totally agree. Maybe a few times when they are high in falsetto or using auto tune do I find it hard. I learned who voice was whose really fast.

@@kunalgupta7480 With BTS it has though, this is where part of their charm lies and if it's not for you then it's not. Also this is alternative hiphop, just a reminder bc it might help you stay away from certain music genres if it's not to your taste.
(PS The lyrics are rlly great so try not to overlook them by focusing on how it sounds)
making song that consist of summaries of previous songs was only done by genius musicians, and they did! they do it just because they really love what they do, and made these memories for the armys, oh they are really very sincere.. thank you bangtan, we will remember the good times and will do our best in the future, because yes.. the best is yet to come
Wow the fact that you knew that they had been working on their skills individually and that they would do that more in the future is AMAZING! I noticed how different their voices were in Run BTS. It was like a new them! Wow you are the real deal.
THE REFERENCES IN THIS MV IS CRAZY
From the clothes they're wearing, the train, the butterfly, the truck, the schoolbus and where they're sitting on the bus. All are pieces of past MVs. Even the desert with the sounds of waves crashing. Amazing amount of symbolism. So emotional!

They have RUN BTS (🔥🔥) and For Youth ( 🤧) as new singles as well, RUN BTS being a 'shouldn't be skipped on' type of song. Their cd3 has demos and unreleased songs from the past. Not sure if you'd be able to upload that on yt, but if you're interested in it, then you should definitely check it out 😁

It's funny you say they will go as individuals and then come back together. J Hope is going to headline at Lalapalooza, and we think he is dropping his second mixtape. He's "HEADLINING", which is a first for a Korean artist to headline an American Music Festival. They have all been working on personal projects as well. I'm looking forward to their future journey.

armys has a theory that this is the era for solo songs while members go to the military😪 so they probably made mixtapes by themself in the mean time and worked on themself. J.hope is also performing solo in lollapalooza as the main act soon

I think all 7 members have voices that sound unique to each other so I found it interesting you said sometimes they sound similar. This music video is full of references to their older music videos. It's definitely an ending to their first chapter as a group. I think this might be their last album before they enlist in the military by the end of the year. Hope you will check out the 2 other new songs Run BTS and For Youth.

I think it can get confusing when they go into high notes and falsetto if you don’t know their voices that well because the higher the note the harder it is to hear the tone and that’s what’s so unique about their voices, all the tones are so different. I love that tae was in his lower register for this one, it’s so beautiful and I’ve been missing it😭💜
Sameeeeeeeee, bts is like one of the few groups that has a very distintic vocal line. Like every member has a unique voice whose is veeeery easy to tell them apart, even with all the producer stuff in the record versions.

the new anthology album Proof also has 2 new tracks, “Run BTS” and “For Youth”. I’m sure there are many of the 48 tracks that you haven’t heard yet but if you want to save hearing them in their respective albums, it would be cool to see a reaction to the other 2!!
Run BTS (not to be confused with Run by BTS which is another of their older songs) is so fun and interesting musically, different from their usual stuff!

This song was never intended to be a radio friendly hit, but a pause to reflect and to talk with ARMY. I think they are so bold to do this when the world (especially locals) always expects them to top themselves. That is not the purpose of this song or the album at all. And those who are disappointed have missed the point and that is okay; not everyone is going to like this song. There are some other songs on the album that show a different musical side too.
nah. I think this song is mid. I kinda prefer their old albums which is versatile but good, unlike the newer ones which only has a few good tracks and lots of bland ones
I hate this type of album since it is an excuse gor newer content just for the sake of money. I think this album was only intended for die hard fans who would defend it even though it is not that great(the new tracks are ok but are not great)

I respectfully disagree about their vocals being hard to figure who is who. All their voice are very distinct. I learned who was singing so fast. However I do understand with they are singing in higher falsetto’s sometime or using autotune sometimes…Majority of the time I can still figure it out pretty quick…They do blend really well together with the though…
