    Very cool. But which ford cam lock tool? 3.5 and 3.7 are different. So is the 2.3 (that one goes in the back of the cam)

      This was the 4 cylinder Ford tool. Really any flat bar of the same thickness.

    I didn’t know you had to lock the timing for a gasket

      Since the chain needs to come off, the cams can turn.

    Wait until you find out that not the only tool and the timing cover gasket is behind the chain and phasers

    You don’t need a special tool just a ford special tool

      There are kits available for these engines. I used a Ford special tool to hold the cams, the critical part of the repair.
