He's so underrated I think because of Idol and how he did on there. Just a great artist with a great voice. For history he's been around since mid 2000s. He was on American Idol, finished 4th (although he voluntairly bowed out because he wanted to perform with his hometown band. Not solo)

He should have won American Idol but no matter because he didn’t need to, they are amazing live, saw them after the release of their first album in a very small venue so we were right up front and personal with him and even after the show he came outside and talked to us fans who had stuck around…..super nice guy all around………check out their first album “Daughtry”

How could you not know who Chris Daughtry is? He is famous for being on American Idol back in 2006 and then became extremely successful with his band Daughtry ever since. He has a phenomenal voice and is still going strong to this day.

Prepare yourself to go down yet another glorious rabbit hole known as Chris Daughter. Every song he lays his voice to is phenomenal. Unfortunately, he lost his 25 yr old daughter last Nov and for obvious reasons had to postpone the bands planned tour. Hopefully he's managed to get through this trauma and will grace us again with his music.
You need to find the video from American Idol of him singing "Hemorrhage" by Fuel...he kills it...its my belief that if he had not bowed out he would have hands down won...
