Took me 6 sec of him singing first song to recognize who it was. Loved his voice from the first time I heard him sing in American Idol.

This was my favorite guy on the Masked singer because I've been a massive Daughtry fan forever!!! I knew his voice from the first song and loved every song he did in this Season, and he was 2nd runner up. He killed it and his Vocals are insane! I love you're doing these, I hope you'll do the whole Pentatonix run as California Rolls. Their songs were great and they got to 3rd. But as much as you enjoyed Creep I think you'd like the whole California Rolls run of songs, they killed it!
The thing with The Masked Singer is, its not so much a "Singing Contest" as it is a guessing contest to try and figure out who's singing. I mean when PTX did it over the last few months, as soon as Scott sang the 1st note, I was like, that's Scott! LOL Love your reaction as usual!!! ❤

I Highly recommend the Fox from the masked singer, he was the same season as the Rottweiler
It blows my mind that none of the judges had him figured out. When my wife and I watched this season we had him pegged about 15 seconds into his first performance. He has such a distinctive and amazing voice that I thought his voice was obvious.
This show has had everyone from professional athletes, actors and real singers. Rob Gronkowski was awful lol. They’ve had legends like Patti LaBelle and Dionne Warwick, non singer celebrities like Dr. Drew and Drew Carry, and everyone in between.
He and Lzzy Hale from Halestorm recently did a cover of Journey Seperate Ways that was so amazing and switched it up enough to make it their own. Please check that out.
I knew it was Chris right away! Still can’t believe not one person on the panel guessed him. Especially when he sang Mr Brightside and sang the lyric “it’s killing me” which is so reminiscent of the lyric in Its Not Over. Daughtry is amazing, I haven’t heard one of his songs I didn’t like!

Yea ive been a massive Daughtry fan since he was on American Idol and have listened to all his songs since. This was an easy one for me. Check out his band "Daughtry".

Thank you so much for the reaction he got 2nd place on season 2 the fox won that season. I don’t even know we’re to start of how to tell you what the masked singer is about I think you should search it up and look more into it in a few months the 10th season is coming so that means there has been 9 seasons so far with hundreds of masked celebrities and the format for every season changes but some I recommend are the fox, harp, sun, monster, California rolls, Russian dolls and black swan
He has a huge catalog to check out. I recommend 'waiting for superman' and 'life after you' to start
The only time you hear their natural voices is when they sing. After every performance they talk with the cartoonish voice changer to throw the judges off.

The best performance I ever heard on The Masked Singer was Natasha Bedingfield's cover of Jealous. Definitely worth a listen.

Love the Masked Singer! It is competition of celebrity performers. The judges and audience try to guess who it is after each performance, but they are also in competition and are voted on each week to see who makes it to the end. They have had singers, actors, comedians, athletes and talk show hosts competing.
My favorite song by him is actually a cover he does of Sias I'm Still Breathing OMG ITS AMAZING
He actually ended up releasing his cover of 'Alive' on an album after this.
You should try to start watching live with us. You love figuring stuff out. This is the ultimate who is it. The fox they showed in background was Wayne Brady, who won that season. They give clues online, during the show. They are already filming the next season, if not done yet. You can't hear the speaking voice unless they're rappers or have a quick word in the song. I admit to being hooked as I also like to figure stuff out. Most I have down on their first song. I've missed a few for different reasons, most notably Jorge Garcia and Mickey Rourke but only because he took his mask off. It's hokey, it's rigged, yes the judges know who it is, etc. If it changes formats again for the better it will be worth it. Last 2 seasons were stupid easy with how it was set up ie; I had several already done before the season started. It'd be fun to have you in on it.
There is so many Masked Singer performances that are great. But if I was going to suggest one it would have to be The Sun. Probably the most talented singer to of ever graced that stage. Definitely the most decorated.

Nobody knows who they are. They come to studio wearing a mask and then put on their costume and practice/perform. Not even their families know
This show literally made me a Chris Daughtry fan. I never knew who he was before the show, now I love all his songs.
I haven’t watched maybe the last 3 seasons. But I did watch this season. I knew from the first note who this was. His voice is so specific if you know his music. In my time watching the show I think I got 5 correct from their first performance voice.

This is my far my favorite one on this show, He would have one any other season. His opponent was the Fox, he was the best ever on the the show. Recommend watch the fox and monster! Other great ones are the peacock, crocodile, turtle, bee, and thingamgig.
He didnt really do any rock songs which probably made it harder to identify.
We have had a show called the masked singer for a couple of years now in Norway. I liked that H&O (Hall & Oats) song. Reminds me of of the 80th when I was a teenager. ❤ And the audience have to guess and vote for who it can be. 👍
so its a singing competition while the judges and audience and people at home try to guess who it is also its not just singers there's been athletes, actors, politicians etc

It is hard to guess the singer under the mask. The only ones I got correct were a few of the female soul legends from the 60's. The talent pool did not have a cap for sure.
All that just to be beaten by a fox. A fox by the name of Wayne Brady 😂

Mr. Boyd, I just found your video. I watched this show when Chris was on and knew it was him because I’m such a huge fan.
You should definitely listen to his version of Seperate Ways By Journey, It’s Chris Daughtry and Lzzy Hale singing it.
Also his newest record is called “Artificial” if you would listen to that. It’s a harder rock for him. Other than these, listen to his Dearly Beloved album. I love every song on it, and of course I’d go through his whole catalog. He’s just incredible.

On this show it could be anyone from Patti LaBelle to Jerry Springer. That's what makes it fun.
You should do The California Roll compilation. Easiest guess in the history of the show, but a fun watch anyway.

So the basic concept is to try and guess who is under the mask. These compilation videos don't usually show it, but each time before the performance, there will be a handful of clues as to who the person is.
I didn’t hear of Chris Daughtry until he was revealed. Then his music started playing on the radio after that season.
