He sounds like he is sober, as in not drinking. Voice sounds clear and strong. He must be taking extra good care of himself these days. He looks like a heavy metal sensei up there.

I'm proud of Phil. He clearly put a lot of work in to his voice! He calmed his stage presence a touch for the sake of controlling his breathing and focussing on pitch and damn does it show! Pantera is sounding as good as they possibly could without the Abbott brothers and at Phils age. They sound great and are honoring the music in a beautiful way. They're doing it right!
Everything is a money grab. Those families have a right to every cent that their old man’s worked for. They would want their families to remain supported the way they would when they lived. I'm probably going to shed some tears when I see them. I've been living with the impression it was never going to happen, that they were around at a legendary period before my time and I missed the window. A year ago if you asked me to pick one band to resurrect and see live, it would have been them. And now it's actually happening 😭
I've been watching these live performances the last few days and they are just blowing my mind. They couldn't have picked better stand-ins for Dime and Vinny. The fact that Phil can still sing these songs like this is also incredible. I'll be going to see them with Metallica in Arlington and I can say I've never been more excited for a concert in my life.

I saw Pantera, on the Suicidal, Exodus tour back in 89/90..... I have never been completely blown away by a band like that, before or since. I love that they are doing this. The 2nd band I was in growing up we called Missing 101 because we lost our favourite fucking CD. Live 101 Proof. Seeing this now makes me gitty and self rejuvenated like the 15 year old I was.
