I’d like to point something out about Charlie. The dude is literally 60 years old. He also is one of the pioneers of extreme, aggressive drumming like this. He’s most certainly one of the oldest ones still drumming with this much power-and he’s pulling it off flawlessly. Charlie Benante is literally setting the benchmark.
Charlie Benante: all those collaborations the last few years, Anthrax, and now this. Dude deserves something like a lifetime achievement award- All-Timer!
So many folks are talking smack on Wylde. Lets see you get out from behind your computer and perform at this level! It is harder then you think! Dime's playing was no joke. I think Zakk is doing great!
Phil sounds so good! Rex is punchy as ever! Charlie’s kit sounds very similar to Vinnies and Zakks doing what he does best! The brothers are guzzling shots of black tooth up at that big ol tavern in the sky, stoked that their brothers in Pantera are holding down the fort!
That's what I've been telling people. 4 shows and Zakk is gonna blow that stage up!! He just came off tour with Black Label and barely had time to practice the songs.

Fck ! I didn't like the idea of them going out under the band name pantera , I have to say my mind has been changed , Charlie is playing as though Vinnie has possessed him , as a life long Vinnie fan hearing how Charlie is playing exactly as Vinnie did brings serious emotion to my heart , and zakk is doing dime justice ,furthermore I think it's so right that zakk still puts his sound into dimes riffs , I appreciate that he's not trying to play exactly the way dime did , we all know how hurt Vinnie was and I understand why he wouldn't do a reunion with the way things were between him and Phil . I'd have to say no I dont think so , I don't doubt that they had riffs and ideas that got used ,but most of it came from Vinnie's beats and dimes riffs , when the brothers created something and you hear it , you are under no mistake about who wrote it , dime and Vinnie , two of metals finest soldiers , R.I.P🤘
