  • Here is my first spray and thoughts on the new ANI R160-Q from Spraygunsdirect.uk. I sprayed Tamco 9500 30min High Impact high solids clear coat. This gun only uses 3.7CFM and is perfect for us small compressor guys. At only $110 USD plus approx $20 shipping to the USA, I think you would be hard pressed to find a better gun for the value!

    Awesome video. Thanks for the play by play commentary. Especially with the flash times, what to look for with the stringy clear, & most importantly the psi. I am looking to purchase this 160. Thanks again!!!

    Thanks for the video. I have 3 of the ANI R150T and just ordered the R160-Q with 1.0mm. Ever try Sherwin Williams Finish1 FC710 clear coat? I'm wondering how it compares to the Tamco HC9500.
    I try new clear from time to time and always kick myself and have to go back to the FC710.
    I do wheels and the Tamco HC9500 looks great, and sounds like it would be great for wheels as well.
    Also have a build video on your spray booth?

Cures super fast and extremely durable. I do have a paint booth build vid here: ruclips.net/video/Jbz0MVdFJro/видео.html. I can’t speak for cellulose, but I primary use water base paint and I use a very high solid/thick clear coat. It workZ great with both. For the price, u can’t beat this gun. Depending on how big of stuff u do, u may want the full size version of it, the ANI F160. This gun has about a 7” fan pattern and the F160 closer to a 12” pattern. I don’t use mine much though. Search “Pete’s Hobbies ANI” here on RUclips. Great channel and has several great vidZ using both guns and telling u all about them.

    Just learning about spray guns , when you refer to 40 psi , is that with the the air in a static reading or with the air actually flowing through the gun ?

    • @BrusHstroKeZ
      @BrusHstroKeZ  3 года назад +2

      That refers to the pressure at the gun. All ur spray guns, u should have a pressure regulator right on the gun inlet. PSI will reduce as the air flows through the gun. Example, 40psi at inlet regulator at 40psi, is probably closer to 20psi out of the gun. Hope this helpZ! Any other questionZ, let me know🤘🏻

    hi, do you know the difference between "ANI R160-Q" and the "ANI R160-T" ?
    And how big is your compressor tank or cfm for that gun?
    I want to spray smaller things like gaming-controllers or consoles and don´t know if I can get away with the 24 L compressor, which puts out 86 L/min. I know the requirements are a little bit higher, but I don´t know if it will still work, as I don´t spray big surfaces

    • @BrusHstroKeZ
      @BrusHstroKeZ  4 года назад +2

      I think the difference in the 2 guns is they added 2 holes on each of the horns, as the T only had one maybe. There have been 3 or 4 versions, each with a slight change. Finish was the only chance one of the times as well. The R160 uses 104 l/min. U can do small stuff with it still though. I've used a 250 l/m gun on my 200 l/m system, no issue with small stuff.
