Loved the vid! I'm gonna be doing this soon and hopefully I can get it to peel off easily because I just need my wheels white for one day. What's your take on doing this on a gas tank (motorcycle)? I also need to do that white for a single day, but it's gloss black now and don't want to buy a white gas tank just to use for a single day.
Thanks so much! Yes if you just spray on enough coats (6-7) the plastidip will peel off just like vinyl wrap in one piece! It is only hard to remove if you do like 4 light coats, then you’d just have to power wash it to remove it.
I think you could definitely do it on a gas tank! Same thing, just make sure you do enough coats and for that you’d probably want to mask everything around the tank.

Can I still use pressure washer to clean the wheels or would it rip the plastidip?
You can still use a pressure washer! I use the white tips (40 Degree ones). You just want to make sure you aren’t spraying too close to the wheels.
Ive been pressure washing my plastidip for years and haven’t had it rip except for when I’m trying to remove it. I’ll make a video on how to clean them and I’ll show me pressure washing the wheels
Just be sure what angle and proximity of your washer tip. I power wash mine all the time no problems.

What about brake rust over them?? How do you clean them? Also how many cans do we need for 4 wheels?
The brake rust can easily be cleaned off. I use chemical guys silk shine protectant and it works great for removing dirt and brake rust. I would recommend at least 6 cans for 4 wheels, you want to make sure you spray it on thick👍🏼

Spraying too close to the car. The overspray is gonna leave little white dots on the purple player. 💪
Good looks👍 Luckily I didn’t have any overspray and the awesome thing about plasti-dip is overspray can just be rubbed off
