Fantastic video, fellas. Thanks for taking the time and comparing all of these. I also agree, the stock double-barrel Akra (which came with my bike) sounds probably the worst of them all. The OEM stock one sounds better than it with the eliminator on. Double agree that the J&H sounds the best, but overall the aftermarket Akra takes the win with the best looks/sound combo. Cheers!
Nice vid Steve. They’re quite similar in terms of sound except for the after market Akra and for the J&H. As You’ve got the four of them on your table, I hope you did a weighting for comparison ? That would be the main reason for paying the extra money in my opinion.
Hi Steve, another great video ! Nice to see the BMW fit Apple CarPlay unit will be out, I am very interested in that. Also Andy and myself will see at the ABR show. Regards Dave.
I would like to purchase from you the servo eliminator but am confused about what model is for the 1300 GS. I see a 3 position on their website but I think you are using a 2 position that I would rather have. Just a Stock then an Open. If you go to the manufactures page and plug in the 1300 it only shows a silly 3 position.
Awesome video! I appreciate the work that went into this, well done. The J&H does sound the best indeed. I think it looks great as well. Maybe power added and weight reduction done at some point? Best!
A quick question. I installed the chigee (with cameras ) on my Husqvarna 701. I liked it, but the cameras were utter shite … and I found in remote areas (Portugal and Morocco ) the Apple phone GPS was NOT as reliable as a Garmin GPS radio . I swapped it for a Zumo . So , bear with me .. I like the new chigee mount .. for the R1300GS. What is the advantage of a chigee, on the GS compared to the NAV6 that normally sits in that position? I can see only disadvantages… that the phone needs to be present and connected.
Hi Steve, do you know if there is a possibility to remove the top vario case carriers and keep the side carriers? I’ve seen a video from motopapa that he removed the top carrier. Very nice, but want to keep the side vario carriers. Thanks for your response!
confirms that changing the rear exhaust on the r1300gs is a waste of money. No improvement in ride, safety, efficiency, sound is similar with the aftermarket stuff. Stick with stock and spend money on something else.
Did you do a vid on the graphics?, wanted to do someything to my GS's for years but couldnt really find anything, now i've just bought a TB ADV id like to make it look a little different... Great content, interesting even though i'm on a 1200 going to a 1250 lol 👏🤙👍👌🤘✌🖖🍻
Im not sure i like any of those really. But then the stock one on my 1250 is fine. I know the boxer will never sound as nice as my Guzzi so happy for it to be as quiet as i can get it..
Does any of that have factory DB killer? Even if not easily removable as the previous akras. I heard the double akra has one. It would be good to know for the full picture, as i am still not a fan of the stock 1300gs sound.
I agree, the engine is so very loud (not a nice sound) .. it’s madness to spend t an exhaust to improve things ! ❤ (I have the BMW OEM Akra on mine) I like it.
What warranty claim are you looking to make? Dealers have zero appetite to take this approach. Any work carried out they either charge the customer or the manufacturer. I have a straight thru system on my M1000R and if something happened where I’m thinking this could be a warranty issue, I’d work with my dealer and see if it would be advisable to swap over the exhaust again or in your case, remove the es eliminator. The es eliminator is not causing damage, it’s just taking control of something that’s been added to your bike due to one of the euro standards years ago. You have to go a long way to seriously effect warranty, I.e remove key sensors where the bmw diag kit hardly recognises the bike. Keep your dealer sweet and they should be bending over backwards to keep you happy. They understand you want to tweak your toy and will work with you (within reason)
Why not talk about how the chigee and denali smart can bus controls interfere with each other Denali saying oh we had our product out first chigee just avoiding the issue
I’m buying in last year, blind, having to wait until may 24. This is my first GS, normally I’m riding only Triumphs, including Tiger. But the new Tiger is nothing for me, that’s why I preordered the GS. This was my worst investment when I ever done. The noise from the valve train, especially on the left side, is just a disgrace. If I had heard that sooner, I would never have. The same with the BMAKRA. What a waste of money. Regardless, the GS feels like it is made of 80% plastic. Horrible. But, yes it’s drives likely, light-footed and fast. But that’s all.
45 minutes of your business being advertised .. could of been about 10 minutes long.Just spent 5 minutes fast forwarding. I cant sub to adverts. Akro sounds pants. J&H pipes are definitely the best just shame about the £1700 price tag
Bedankt voor het harde werk. Ga zo door, want dit is kwaliteit op z'n best.

Thank you for all your hard work on your videos. You can see a lot of effort goes into them.
Thank you
The Jeckel and Hyde sounds amazing ✅
Glad I went with the J&H and have it on order since it came out. Looking forward to my install on my Triple Black!
remove the catalytic and you will be amaze.

No one in the world does it like you guys are the top of the top every video every job put your heart ..congrations
Does the J&H do anything for performance as well as sound? Dyno result next?
With the J&H do you still have the main flap in the headers? Could you still use the Eliminator in conjunction with the J&H exhaust for louder sound?
Hi Steve, another great video ! Nice to see the BMW fit Apple CarPlay unit will be out, I am very interested in that. Also Andy and myself will see at the ABR show. Regards Dave.
So u at ABR
I like the exhaust with least noise, j&h with valve closed

That's interesting a BMW edition Chigee. Think that's going to be a winner
The list of emails we’ve collected is huge. Our first delivery will not fulfil everyone if everyone on the list want one.
It would be very interesting to know if there is a loss on the torque with the open valve.

Does the es eliminator come with the switch you have on this bike or the toggle switch picture in the listing on the website?
Thank Sir for give me all information about R1300GS bike

Pleasantly suprrised. Just with the Servo eliminator justifies enough to make it sound alive. Hope this would be true for my r1200gsa 2015
what ever you ride .... Dr.jekill & Mr.Hyde :-) nice vidio Thanks
Chigee need to make one that clips into the zumo xt mount so I can dispose of my xt
I like OEM with no eliminator and J&H the most.😺
This was an awesome video, thanks for that! I’m really interested in the stickers, is it possible to buy? Of course without you name on 😜

No we didn’t. I used shred graphics in Netherlands
Im not sure i like any of those really. But then the stock one on my 1250 is fine. I know the boxer will never sound as nice as my Guzzi so happy for it to be as quiet as i can get it..
Curious what tires do you have fitted in your GS! It looks so good!
Look like the Karoo4. I have them .. utterly superb tyres.
Does any of that have factory DB killer? Even if not easily removable as the previous akras. I heard the double akra has one. It would be good to know for the full picture, as i am still not a fan of the stock 1300gs sound.
We can’t see a way of removing dbs on these. Another video to come showing non road legal set ups
@@ABIKETHING can’t wait for that one, appreciate your efforts
Petite question surement idiote : quel est la couleur de cette moto ? la white avec stckers? si oui, ou trouver ces stickers ?
Awesome video, the bike also looks awesome! Can you pls share the link or the graphic company, thanks. 👍👍
Shred graphics in Netherlands
Right proper test that one 😎🍻
Hey Steve, where did you get the exhaust hanger to delete the footpeg?
It came with the bike. I think it’s a trophy thing. Bmw dealer will be able to source them
It’s part of the “enduro pro” pack
I love Peets bike!
Is it just me or is it normal for me to only hear the click clack if the engine? With that context all the exhausts sound the same to me
I agree, the engine is so very loud (not a nice sound) .. it’s madness to spend t an exhaust to improve things ! ❤
(I have the BMW OEM Akra on mine) I like it.
Surely fitting the ES Eliminator will jeopardise a warranty claim

@@ABIKETHING I’m not looking to make a warranty claim. Thank you for your advice though.
No true all manufacturers have A 2 YEAR warenty on Chigee products you're not alone in this
No one in the world does it like them
Careful with them rear tyres Steve 🫡
I have them too … remarkably quiet and grippy !
The new GS sound is like 🚜 tractor.
They all sound like a citroen 2cv to me.
🤔 do I choose it to sound like a tractor or combine harvester 😂
Hmm, I hear you but it ride so well. The sound is better than what the mic is picking up
Why not talk about how the chigee and denali smart can bus controls interfere with each other
Denali saying oh we had our product out first chigee just avoiding the issue
They don’t conflict.
es idea mía o la moto le queda como de juguete????
I meet you in germany!!
I look forward to meeting you
I ordered my jekill last week its not in time to put it on for germany, looking forward to see your bike! 👍🏻
Double barrel OEM Akrap is bad in all positions. It needs 2.0 version. Nice design but sound failure
It’s not all that bad with the es eliminator.
@@ABIKETHING yes it is 😀
I hope Igor will mark my words
Ps. Perhaps we meet in 2 weeks in Bmw Days
Love mine !
Loud pipes destroy our sport.
4:23 The chigee cameras are utter shite !! Please don’t buy them. Buyer beware.
Total advert. Sad
This engine is making an horrible sound over the exhaust sound... that is just average. My old Hypermotard 1100 sounded much better than that.

@@galaxykai and the quick shifter of the KTM 1290 is way better
Jesus, these new 1300's sound like a bag of Chinese spanners 🤢
I own one, I can’t disagree !!

Doesn't matter what exhaust you put on it, its gonna sound shit. Most boring bike I have ever ridden. Only so much you can polish a turd.
Pray tell .. what bike did you choose ?
