Hi Steve Thanks for putting this video together. I have owned a GS-911 for a few years and used it connected to a PC to check and clear errors and update service information etc. I had made a couple of attempts to connect via WiFi, couldn’t find clear guidance on infrastructure and the D2D modes and gave up. (or rather put of working it out until I was on the road and needed to). This video made everything clear and now I can do everything I need with my iPhone over WiFi.
Thank you for this video. I learned more about the connection method (to an iPhone by the D to D and Infrastructure modes) from this video than I did from any information I ever found on the Hexcode website in 5 years or owning a GS-911 WiFi device for my 2018 BMW R1200GS. Please make more videos showing how to use the GS-911 WiFi. Perhaps one on using the GS-911 at home connecting a laptop to the GS-911 with a USB cable and connecting the laptop (and GS-911?) to the cloud/internet. (You can see I'm not clear on how that is done - I get it done each time by strictly trial and error due to not having found clear step-by-step directions from Hexcode.) Your explanation in this video was very clear. I think having clear explanations available of how to connect and use the device will (1) help purchasers use the device, and (2) sell more GS-911's, which will benefit the dealers and Hexcode both.
