I can't quite believe it is time to leave my university halls! This flat has had some huge highs and also some huge lows but it's time to officially close the door on first year and move out. Come along to celebrate the very end of first year, moving out and of course the football.

Lovely video. My son starts at UoB in September. Is it normal to get your second year house in July and leave it unoccupied until September? Is that how it works there just to make sure you get something? Also, would be good to know what you are paying for the house? It looks lovely and I am sure you will have a lovely 2nd year.
Thanks so much and yeah it is the contracts start in July for some reason which is very annoying but just how they seem to do it!
When do you recommend starting to look for your second year accommodation? You have a lovely house so I imagine you started looking early. Thanks
Thank you so much I love my house ☺️ we looked and completed in November. The earlier you start the better but never rush into anything as there are always good houses out there and its so important to make sure your with people you like!

It actually was yes, I did a lot of research and really wanted to be in Selly Oak and in my opinion its the nicest one there 💛
I'm starting medicine at Birmingham in September and The Metalworks is my top choice! How many people were in one flat?

Are u in any Birmingham medicine GCs?
Hi I was just wondering which accommodation is closer to the law school
the closest accommodation choices would be the Selly oak ones so: metal works, Jarratt hall, bournbrook and Oak Brook Park. Try putting the accommodations into google maps and then to the law building to see the walking distance. I did this and it really helped ☺️
Does the university have its own gym?
Yes Birmingham actually has 2 gyms which are both so good!
