So I am FINALLY back on campus and we have a VERY busy week planned! Come along for online CPR training, endless amounts of work and find out how I'm settling back in...
It certainly has been the weirdest start to university but I am loving bringing you along my medical school journey. This weeks vlog shows all the ups and downs, some very late nights and how I'm getting on with online learning!

I just wanted to say you are doing SO well, like seriously. I definitely did not have a routine like this in 1st year and didn't do anywhere near the amount you're doing. I understand the stress because you have your routine but honestly please trust that you are setting yourself up so so well. Despite being in 4th year now I *still* don't do as much as you in a week! Glad you're back in Brum, hope you're enjoying yourself I'm just so sorry it's all online for you. Fortunately our year is still doing GP and hospital placements in person but even that is really interrupted. I so hope you continue with these vlogs throughout med school, it will be amazing to see your flourish and graduate (which will come round sooner than you think!). I remember I created like one medicine day in the life video a couple of years back but it took me so long to edit haha, I couldn't keep up but wish I had done. Do you have older year notes for all your modules? Also for anatomy/MJM I found the app "essential anatomy 5" on my iPad SO helpful. It's essentially an interactive body but it's meant for anatomy learning so has innervations, origins etc and I just found it very helpful to visualise things :) x

It’s been weird everything being online this year but I cant wait for things to start in person again soon and to actually feel like more of a student. 😂 I will 100% be continuing these through medical school I love having the memories to look back on and its also like a little support system because honestly everyone is so so so lovely. I am definitely going to try this app it sounds FAB so thank you so much for the advice. I have got older year notes but not for all modules which is a little tricky xxx

Thank you so much! I personally wouldn’t have taken another gap year because I already took 2 and I just wanted to start my course. However, it is definitely not enhancing my experience tbh it’s been quite hard, but I am still enjoying it xxx
