can you be from the Uk to be a part of your course ?
I'm new to learning Cyber Security and can't tell you how much I appreciate the work you're doing to help people like myself learn. I applied for the course immediately and highly encourage others to do so, so we can grow this community. I can't wait for this next chapter in your YT career!
Thank you Dylan!! I received a lot more applications than anticipated and it might be a while for a decision
This is GOLD Information for anyone who wants to enter the Cybersecurity world!!! Thank you for the passion
This is the best youtube video on cybersecurity. Practical and direct presentation.
Nicole your videos is a great resource for a novice, I'm making a career transition into cyber security and your advice is on point.
Hey ALL… I applied a few days ago. I’m transitioning from Tech MIM to Cybersecurity and am excited I came across your YT channel… thanks for all that you do 😊 your wisdom and knowledge are very much appreciated 👍🏽
I saw it! It'll be a few weeks before opening up again !
Thank you for all the effort in this videos..
Thank you for the video Nicole! This sounds like something I have been looking for!
You are so welcome!
Hi Nicole. I appreciate you doing this. It's awesome. What knowledge base and skills would you like your students to already possess before beginning your program? I'm currently working on getting the basics from a list I put together myself as a complete outsider: A+, CCNA, Security +, Linux, Python (Harvard's CS50 for Python), BASH, SQL (Harvard's CS50 for Databases & SQL). Would you be kind enough to let me know if I'm on the right track? I'm shooting for completing them all of them by the end of the year. Would that get me prepared for your program?
I'm one of those whose careers were destroyed by the COVID years (employer died, company was shut down) trying to start over.
Very useful details. Honestly very good video as usual Nicole. It’ll be pleasure to be trained by you with all of your knowledge ❤
Thank you Top Man
Thank you Just applied for your program. Look forward to working with you soon.
See you soon!
Just applied. I’m very early in my learning process, but I’m highly dedicated and working very hard to improve. I would be super excited to be a part of this! -Peter
Aesome! You should hear something in 2-3 weeks
This video is so helpful. I'm the one of the group that is confused on how to start.
Hi Nicole I have applied and I looking forward to learn from you. Thank you for your informative videos .
Thank you Kenem. I received a lot more application anticipated and it might be a while for a decision
New subscriber. I am looking to transition into cyber security from nursing. I am not sure if I am the type of candidate that you are looking for, but I have watched a lot of videos to try to figure out where I would best fit. I am still confused on the career path and will definitely need guidance, which is why I am very interested in applying (and will be applying after posting this:) Great video! I really like how you are thorough and how you explain things. I believe this is my second or third video watching you, so if chosen for the program, I know that I would have a very good teacher.
Thank you for commenting. I appreciate the kind words Felicia! Kind of behind on these applications, so I will let you know!! It is definitely a very confusing field if you are trying to enter from a different career field
Hi Nicole i applied Hope to learn from you ...much love from South Africa
Thanks Nicole! I will check it out!
Please do!
@@nicoleenesse I signed up! Hope you're going to have me!!
Hello, we (me and my husband) have watched your videos and are interested with your course however we can’t find any information about the price. We don’t want to apply and waste your time if we can’t afford it. We also enrolled into up skill in cyber with the SANS and starting the course in a few days (in the UK)
Thanks for help 😊
can I apply even if I have zero experience or do I need a certain level to apply?
Hi Nicole. I really appreciate the video. I have watched a few of your other videos, particularly the ones on WGU and ADHD. One question that I had, is do would you recommend WGU for their Bachelor's of Cybersecurity program? Just curious...
Thanks
The program is good.
This sounds great!
I got accepted into the WGU program. However I'm hesitant to pull the trigger because I'm just not sure if it's right for me. What are some things you recommend doing in order to really know that it's something you want to do? Very interested in your cybersecurity training as well.
Ah, yeah. I suggest just doing it and setting up various labs and see if you enjoy the technical challenge, because it will be a technical challenge. WGU is a lot of memorizing facts like most college, so you may still not get a good feel if its the right career field
This is the part of your journey that I think really needed to hear. Thank you for sharing 🙏
Is this course something I can enroll into only having customer support experience?
This is my dream to work in Cybersecurity, Thank you for offering this path to getting into this industry. This is my dream to learn all these skills. Thank you Nicole
You can do it David
@@nicoleenesse Thank you Nicole, I started my path from a previous video you did, I started studying for the CCNA, then i was moving into Python scripting , then learn Linux , and last but not least the CISSP. this was the path in your previous video. Thank you for being an inspiration. I hope you pick me for your school. even if you don't pick me i am grateful for your help .
I really am wanting to get into cybersecurity but I have no Tech experience. Where should I begin? I’m 34 with an admin/accounting background.
Thank you just applied. I been trying to take cyber security course but every one of the ones I've looked into are out of my budget. Whoever is chosen please finish the course and take advantage of it. Thank you!
How much is her course?
Hey Nicole I watch almost all your video. I want to say your videos helped me a lot in choosing my path. I am still struggling to break into the industry. I am very excited that you are doing such a great job by allowing people to do this for free. I hope I can get in. All the Best !
You are so welcome!
Applied! I just enrolled at WGU myself. Ready to gain some skills, tired of the lectures.
Hello Nicole, I always enjoy your lesson, you are knowledgeable and I do appreciate the way you approach. I have a question for you. I am going to complete two fields of Study sooner, 1, Cloud Computing Security 2, Cybersecurity and Information assurance. I wanted to pursue in BS and MA in one of these fields. so which one would you recommend to pick, in terms of outlook, money, futurity, and others?
Those are super broad fields so kind of hard to choose
It is but as Nicole which one of that broad fields do you prefer to pursue? I wanted to hear your perspectives.
Do you help people that don't have their bachelors to get a job in cybersecurity?
Hi Nicole! Just want to say I love your videos and I needed some school advice. My name is Mark I am about to embark on my cybersecurity adventure starting with a bachelors in cyber. I work for the federal government in a non IT roll and I am about to start at WGU June 1st. Since waiting for my semester to start I have found the Sans bachelors program. Would you recommend switching programs if I wanted to venture towards cloud security? I know there is a cost difference between the two but I am using my GI bill so that isn’t an issue. Thanks in advanced for your wisdom!
Sincerely
Mark
Hmmm, if you are using your GI bill go with SANS 100%. I wish I had done that
@@nicoleenesse thank you for replying!! Looking at Sans their course works looks more technical vs WGU. Guess it’s times to apply to Sans and see what happens haha.
@@marklemerond8910 WGU is okay, but like SANS will teach you the fundamentals really well
Nicole, can you share your thoughts on the overhaul WGU just made to the MSCSIA this week?
Eh, I don't keep up with the degree programs
I’ll catch the next wave or third one after I get security + and network +
Hey Nicole I’m 6 months out from getting out of army what do you think is more important 1-focusing on a WGU degree and getting a job in October or getting a internship for work experience to get a job in October
Internship for work experience, and then have your employer pay for your degree
@@nicoleenesse AWESOME thank you a lot
Hi Nicole, thanks for sharing this information. I have just applied to your program and hopefully you can give me a chance
Hi Nicole, what's your comment about the MIT-Simplilearn Post Grad Program in Cybersecurity? Is $2K worth it? - Rei (Columbus, Ohio,)
I have never taken it so can't comment.
Mam what is you frist book to entered into this field?please its a request
I just got accepted for a NOC technician role and I am very excited. But my long term goal is to get into a SOC analyst role. What's your opinion on NOC and do you think I can go from a NOC technician to SOC analyst within a year? Great video and thanks
NOC is a great role, and you will have a lot of down time. I suggest actively seeking and letting everyone know you are interested in security along with real world projects. That is a super easy transition
@@nicoleenesse thanks for replying. What are some cybersecurity projects you'd recommend me doing if I want a security job?
Howdy! Are you still accepting applications? Lastly, how much will these amazing courses cost? Any information will be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
I am currently running the pilot program, but after it is done in 2-3 months, I will be admitting new applicants. You can be the first to know by going to upskilltocyber.com
I just applied 😊 hopefully I get in!!
Thank you Jeff!! I received a lot more applications than anticipated and it might be a while for a decision
hi Nicole do you think its still worth learning to get into cybersecurity with all the advancements in chatGPT and Ai will they make IT jobs such as cybersecurity and tech support obsolete?
Hey Pravesh, it's pretty interesting to see how AI is making its mark in cybersecurity. It's automating tasks and providing valuable insights, while still complementing the skills of human professionals. Their decision-making and policy implementation expertise is still needed, so no one is being replaced by AI.
Eliot explained it well
@@elliotalderson96 thank you!
@@nicoleenesse thanks I hope so cause I just started learning and got discouraged.
That’s exactly what I want to study GRC
I submitted an application and am looking forward to (hopefully) having the opportunity to learn from you.

@@nicoleenesse I understand, completely. Thank you for letting me (and others) know.
What is the daily schedule like for Upskill to Cyber training?
It is self paced. Recommended 2 hrs per day

Hi Nicole
Do you offer 1 on 1 career coaching?
Please advise thank you
No, sorry
Alright, I watched this in the first hour that it was uploaded, but I only just now applied. I didn't want to act impulsively... but I also haven't stopped thinking about this for an entire day! Lol. Best of luck to you & your students, Nicole! (Whether I am one of them or not ❤️) And thank you for another great upload. I really believe this was the perspective I needed to hear from you. We all start somewhere
Thanks Stephanie. I received a lot more application anticipated and it might be a while for a decision
What type of skills or education would you prefer we have prior to your program?
At least basic IT skills that you gained through labs/work
Thanks for the information, looking forward to learning from you.
Welcome!
I'll be finishing my Cybersecurity degree from WGU this year, and I'm not sure I want to do red or blue team work. However, I am interested in Identity and Access Management. Would your program fit for someone like me that wants to go in that direction?
Aye!!! Yeah, transitioning is super hard and frightful . I am glad you found inspiration in my videos
How much is the program?
@dyaonna The course is free of cost and can be accessed through the link in the description or pinned comment. However, it's recommended to have a basic understanding of IT for better comprehension. Feel free to apply and start learning!
@Elliot Alderson I applied I never heard anything back
@@dyaonnaHey there! I asked Nicole Enesse about the delay in email confirmations, and she said that she'll be sending them out in the next week or two. So just hang tight and keep an eye on your inbox! If you have any other questions in the meantime, feel free to ask.
Applied! Thank you so much 🙏 my current path is looking like about $5k to $8k through the trinity comptia certs and wgu. This sounds like such a good course. I agree, skills and projects are more valuable than lectures. Lectures can just feel like theory without application.
P.s. I put down that I was prior military in my application if you could give that guy an opportunity. 😉
Thank you Dub ! I received a lot more applications than anticipated . It might be a while for a decision
Does this course require a college degree to get employed
No
providing this information for free/low cost is amazing. wish there were more people like you in this world. Thank You for all the videos!
Happy to help
So the whole video is about you selling the course?

As much as this looks like something security books warn about, I figured to give it a shot anyway.
I hope the worst case is I get spam.
