DISCLAIMER: at 13:11 I mention Mrs Hinch's hack for putting Zoforla on tumble dryer sheets and putting them in pillow cases. I meant sofa cushions! Please remember that Zoflora is flammable and should always be diluted before you use it. Also, it would definitely not be very good to sleep on pillowcases full of Zoflora!

love the astonish brand because it's not tested on animals. Yet the products work soooo well
When you said Mrs Hinch I totally envisaged this old batty lady naming her cleaning tools 🤣🤣 checked her out and she's some young glamorous woman haha xx
Kate you probably know this but I did not, I have been doing the Mrs Hinch Lenor in a spray bottle diluted routine in my front room on fabric cushions and curtains. Long story short my friend who is a Fireman has advised me to never spray this on fabrics, curtains or bedding or around my house as it is very flammable as a diluted chemical and at night I like to light a few candles round the house as do you and I had no idea. He also advised against putting chemical soaked tumble dryer sheets inside cushions too. So for my families safety I have cut this from my cleaning routine and thought I should pass this information on to other mum's out there.xx
i think fabrics in general are flammable? like if a candle touches your sofa with or without the spray it will still catch alight...
Wow thank you for this. I won’t be doing these things either. While Hinch does a lot of clever stuff, she does a lot of stupid stuff too. There is a big difference between bedding and sofas etc burning at a slow rate versus bursting into flames. That time difference could be whether you escape unharmed or not or whether you will be able to get a fire under control or not.

Bicarbonate Soda is much better than spray carpet freshener, you can also add drops of essentials oils into fragrance Sprinkle over the carpet and hoover up.
I love her! I was watching her Insta stories the other day and my husband looked over my shoulder and said “you do realise you are watching someone clean their own house”. Don’t know why it’s sooooo addictive! Xx

You should put the tumble dryer sheets behind the radiator and when the heating on it makes the room smell nice

Same here Kate, Stardrops is non existent where I live! I got lovely little spray bottles from Berts Homestore, not sure if they have those stores nationwide though. I’ve just sprayed my whole house with a mix of Lenor Gold Orchid and water mmmmm so good. Still no sign of Minkeh anywhere either.

The mirror and window wipes you can buy for 50p in wilko 🤷🏼♀️ as well as 50p anti bac wipes. 👍🏻

Lara Joanna Jarvis instead of Dave the Duster, B&M do one with a microfibrer ‘fluffer’ that can be washed. It’s brandy and ace, totally converted from my Daves. :)
The 1001 carpet spray I really struggled to find too. Found them in Sainsbury’s in the end...
I'm very minimalistic when it comes to cleaning, keeping things as simple as possible for both me and my husband, and quite frankly my mind is spinning from all these products. How do you keep track of what to use for what? Do you use them all?
I find myself reaching for plain liquid castile soap, dishwashing liquid or a vinegar mix for most cleaning needs paired with good tools. My favourite tools are my textured linen cloths, rice root brushes and plain, thick sponges together with a set of nice microfibre cloths for dry dusting and polishing after cleaning.
With that said I do know that there are cleaning products out there that really makes the work a lot easier...but I tend to forget about them since the rags and buckets of hot water are easier to bring out.

I bought the scrub buddy pack in B&M about 2 months ago, they’re brilliant sadly I only bought 1 pack to try and have never seen them again since 😢😢 but they still do their job very well!
My fav zoflora is that one too! It's sooo hard to find though but blue bell woods (big bottle in wilko for I think 3 or 4) is a good substitute :)
I use Stardrops products. Can't remember where I found them think it was Pound land or Pound World maybe?

Mrs hinch got me motivated to organise eg daily and weekly boxes and motivated me to get cleaning but I like to be economic friendly and love method it's dearer but there big bottles u should try them

Woahhhhh! All I can think when I see this Hinch mania is ‘...the environment is screwed!’ Please clean freaks check Pinterest for effective eco friendly tips. You’ll be amazed what you can achieve with rags, lemon and vinegar.

Agreed! I’m an ecologist and this makes my head spin! It isn’t cost effective either! One product could do the job of ten of those products shown!

Home bargains sell star drops products. Not seen the pink stuff, however, if you have a savers shop near you they sell the pink stuff! £1 a tub! X
Lots of people have made similar points but think of the *plastic waste* before buying loads of cleaning products that you don't actually need. Would definitely recommend making your own or buying brands like bioD and Ecover. Some shops do re-fills of these brands so you don't have to keep buying more plastic bottles. The environment will thank you xxx
