I bought new RAM today and it wasn’t working so 2 hours of research later, it turned out my BIOS version was F1. Found your video and once I updated my BIOS to the newest version, (f25) everything started working again. Thank you so much man. Awesome tutorial.

2 years later, but this video is very helpful. I keep seeing videos for the gaming 3 or other versions of the B350, but you have the one I do. The video is also very straightforward. I am currently ordering my items to build my PC and this was a problem I needed to know how to solve when the time comes.

If anyone runs into the issue of "invalid image" or similar, make sure, if you didn't update the bios for years, to update to driver F31 first before going higher than F40

Dude, you should do more of these. You're the first one that speaks plainly I have seen that everyone can understand. I have a newer board (Gaming XB550) that has Q-flash. That looks easy peasy to do. Thanks for posting this

I don't normally update BIOS unless necessary but I've got a CPU switch coming up that requires it. The rig involved uses my first MB from Gigabyte (AB350M-Gaming 3) so I thought I'd take a quick look for a video to see about any issues. Came across your video first, watched it, and was good to go. Thank you. I'm getting a Z390 Aorus Pro motherboard soon, and this video will be helpful. I never updated my BIOS before. I already have an USB drive ready, formatted FAT32, with the latest BIOS files on it. This is a new build, and so I am going to update the BIOS before installing the OS.

Just in case someone sees this comment and had the same issue as me, format the flash drive as FAT-32 before you update the bios, it wasn't reading the flash drive since it was ntfs
make sure to plug in the USB to the 'bios' slot (it is usually the only white USB slot)

Thanks for the help! I formatted my USB to NTFS and didn't know you had to use FAT32. I don't think the website specified that. I was questioning whether I downloaded the right files.

Can you put the zip folder in the usb or do you have to extract the files first and then put all 3 files in the usb or only the main file?
I just put the zip on the USB and it read it from inside the flash program

@@DVZNMedia yea I finally got it figured. Had to use a q flash my system to get it to work. But a 64gb can’t be fat32 flashed. So I had to use a 32gb flash. Also it didn’t work with just the power supply. I had to have everything fully installed for it to flash properly. GPU, CPU and RAM.
@@mrmidnight32 oh yeah you have to hook it with everything to work. I usually do mine in a test bed situation with it on the box and everything plugged in before I put it in the case.
