Did you really die because of the slight tilt in the mouse? It's much worse on the G302 but even then it never bothered me. It's caused by the shape and the mouse feet. They tried to fix it on the G303 by putting extra feet on the sides, but it's still not perfect. And I didn't notice that sensor rattle ... I do think Razer have better materials and build quality, but Logitech have better sensors. Good job on the review!
Thx! Lens rattle is a big issue with the g303, unfortunately. I've gotten two of them already, both with a distinct rattle . On the second one , it causes tracking problems. A store has them here in my city and I'll go and test them out until I find one without it. Concerning the tilting , its nitpicking really , but it isn't as planted as my DA. After a huge (26cm) swype and then another 26cm in order to do a popflash in CS, the tilting did affect me slightly.
Ah I see. Well if mine have lens rattle too then it's probably all of them. What tracking issues do you think it's causing? They both seem to perform quite well in game for me.
I have to say that this video helped me a lot. I was very close to buy razer DA, but i started looking for similar mices, and i figured out this logitech. And i have to say (After purchasing Logitech mice) that is really good, i dont got issues using it and it was less expensive that the razer one. Thanks for the review.
Like you, I have used the DeathAdder for about 1.5 years and I bought the G303 about 2 months ago. My hand size is 18x9 cm2 and I find the DeathAdder much more comfortable than the G303. I use the G303 in gaming because I can aim better but my hand does start to cramp after about 1 to 2 hr. I do like the right and left mouse buttons on the G303 better than the DeathAdder. I use the claw grip. If you get something good you have give something up it seems...
I had the exact same dilema 3 days ago actually. I bought Deathadder simple because the G303 is so flat and I couldn't get a comfortable grip. Deathadder very much suits my hand, much more ergonomical. Also I happen to position the fingers exactly where the rubber banding is, so they don't slip at all.
The "tilting" issue you described was my only serious complaint about the G303 as well. I use a cloth mat, so it's barely noticeable. It's definitely still there, however, and it definitely shouldn't be considering Logitech's extensive experience in the peripheral market. Solid review of a reasonably solid mouse.
+Michael Mullins Thx for the input, much appreciated! My example was gliding very badly and rattling a lot and I ended up returning the mouse. Determined to give it another shot,I'll be buying it again with hopes for a better sample. Besides this problem, how was your experience with it?
No rattling at all on the one I got and the glide on my Corsair MM200 cloth mat feels smooth. The scroll wheel also is a real joy compared to the Deathadder Chroma and my old G9. Definitely my biggest complaint is the shape, but I'm giving it a week or two to see if I can get used to it. Thanks for the reply and I hope you get a better one if you decide to try your luck again.
I had both, would recommend the G303 to everyone using claw and fingertip grip who doesn't have giant hands. The razer's sidegrips are horrible and will make you lose control after a bit of sweat.
+Bine Sršen That is true indeed, hence why I had some tape on the sides of the DA. For a claw grip, unless you have a very large hand, it's not easy to achieve with the DA. I shifted my grip from palm to claw and now i'm using the EC2-A,but I think I'll switch to the G303.
+Gaming reviews & News - TishoBG i can also agree. my hand isnt that big and the deathadder just slips out of my hand lol its a great mouse the sensor is awesome but its a bit too big for me. if it were smaller itd be perfect
i love the 303. Thing is you are supposed to grab it in the palm of your hand and not squeeze it with your fingers to hold it and it works great if you do. You can literally lift it of the desk without effort without having your fingers on the mouse. This removes a lot of strain from your fingers and as i found out increases my precision. btw the deathadder also has sensor/lens rattle.
What worries me about these mice is its build quality and durability, I have read many complaints such as: The left-click button stop working or rattle sensor on the logitech G303. I like The Redragon M801 Mammoth...
Its like comparing apples to oranges. G303 is best for claw/fingertip and deathadder best for palm/fingertip. Death adder is much more comfortable but for me i never had more accuracy and control than g303 even the g-pro and new g102/203 fell shortly behind due to the unique shape of the g303.
I'm currently using the DA (been almost a year now) and I am fed up with the shape. My medium sized hand can't find a grip that balances comfort and performance. I've tried both a fingertip/claw hybrid as well as a pure claw and it doesn't feel very good on this one. I'm thinking of going for the G303 now but I have my reservations. Would it be a worthy change?
Psymyn Diamond Hope you find what you're looking for. In my case, the G303 was close, but the the diamond back really killed it for me. Looking into the FK2 now.
I would go to the DiamondBack but here in Brasil it costs 3 times the price of g 302. So its totally out of my league. I Have a DA but i realy wanted to try a Abyssus. The only reason i didnt went with abyssus is beacause it doesnt have side buttons. but my Hybrid grip (i think i became hybrid cause im using lower sensitivity now) on DeathAdder is causing a little of Pain in my hand and fatigue :(
g303 all the way!! i am a very hard critic on gaming mouses and have switched between multiple mouses (including the deathadder) and the G303 provided the best performance and comfort for me. Go Logitech !
Saludos.
+SG NUM BRO QUE MOUSE USABAS ANTES, YO TENGO AHORA UN SENSEI Y QUIERO COMPRARME ESTE MOUSE Y TAMBIEN PIENSO COMO TU EL RAZER ES MUY GRANDE :/ NO ME SENTI COMODO CUANDO JUGUE CON EL.
hi on the logitech g303, how is the mouse scroll click? is it hard to push down or it clicks with ease? the current mouse i have now takes quite some effort to push
+KYoung2 It's pretty easy for me to push down, it is amazing with left clicking. also the lights are really good. Sensor is AMAZING! I would recommend this mouse. The shape is really easy to get use to.
my hand is exatly the same size, i have the deathadder chroma for about 1 year, and i still feel it like wierd...i had the logitech mx300 before and that was perfect...do u think that this g303 will be the best for me ?
I had the sensor rattle in my g303 and exchanged it for another one and the new one had no rattle. I think it was a problem with early batches of the mouse. Mine also doesn't tilt, it might have something to do with how the feet were placed on the mouse during production.
+HeIljumper Nice. I'll be getting a new one and hope I get a new batch. Got a new QCK+ since my mousepad is very worn out, hope the glide will be smoother. No-rattle is definitely a must.
Is the G303 viable for fingertip grip? my hands are really small and im used to grab the mouse really far behind, the mouse seems good but that huge butt seems annoying T _T
It's a great mouse to fingertip grip if you have small hands. I, however, use fingertip grip and have 20cm long hands. My hand really starts to hurt after a while of playing click-heavy games. Gonna return it tomorrow and buy a mionix castor sadly
check the razer taipan, i had it and it seemed good for fingertip grip but it was way too big for me . that castor looks really sexy tho. mini version plz ):
+Noah Blick Hey. Not exactly. G302 has an inferior sensor to the DA's one. It wobbles quite a bit,has no RGB. It is the same shape wise, but internals are worse than the ones in the DA, clicks aside(same as G303)
For comfort , I think they are similar . My hand is more towards 18cm and it's still nearly impossible to have full control over the DA. Having that in mind , G303 will be a better fit for you.
Kma26 don't regret it for a second, if you can pay for it, it's worth it. I've heard that it's not the most durable mouse, but i'll have to see how it does after a long period of time. Had it for about a month and a half, still looks brand new.
my deathadder randomly speeds up the sensitvity when i play csgo. ive only had the mousefor about 5 months and i dont know if the mouse is shit or the razer software
I doubt that's something to do with the software, you can try reinstalling the drivers/software, or sending back the mouse as it shouldn't be doing that! Good luck!:)
I have used both the deathadder and G303 and I prefer and still use the G303 can anyone recommend any upgrades as I love this G303 but ive used it for over a year now
g303 is good mouse for claw grip, however plastic is made from makes my hands sweaty so after some time of gaming my fingers start to slide... now im using zowie fk1 and holy shit dude if g303 is really good zowie fk1 is fucking amazing!!! my top1 gaming mouse for clawgrippers no doubt.
I've only had one razer mouse (lachesis) but it was my first and last razer mouse, within a couple of weeks the right mouse button started double clicking. So I smashed it against the table (got pissed) and the button got all weird (it got very sensitive, but no more double clicks). Perhaps a year later the mousewheel button broke, so I rebound it to one of the buttons below the wheel, then that one broke so I bound it to the next one.
Guys deathadder has better sensor and its good for pepole with big hans and small hands you get very good grip and you can click much better and faster if ur a jitter clicker u should use deathadder logitech is not even good u guys just think its good for the lighting and its not .. #DeathAdder
+Din mamma punkt se "deathadder has better sensor" Uh, the g303's sensor is rated the best on the market. I have both, and I really like the deathadder, but the g303 seems better for fps games like cs:go
Din mamma punkt se Deathadder has the double-click issue way too often... It happens in like 2/3 models. It's an extremely common problem with deathadders
Din mamma punkt se You're so fucking stupid. I'm not being biased you idiot. I'm speaking on behalf of personal experience and the commonly known double-click issue. To be honest I bet you don't even have the G303. You're just saying the Deathadder is better because it's what you have and it's your way of justifying why you got it. The G303 is more accurate and precise than the deathadder. The g303 has the most accurate sensor on the market, hands down. The clicks on the g303 are more solid because of the spring action beneath the clicks. This means it's more durable and clicking feels solid. I have the fucking deathadder kid, so i'm not "hating" on it for no reason. I got the g303 because of the stupid double click problem prevalent in most deathadders. Do your research kid
Did you really die because of the slight tilt in the mouse? It's much worse on the G302 but even then it never bothered me. It's caused by the shape and the mouse feet. A lot of g303's don't rattle. I found one in a store that doesn't , it's a hit or miss. It caused some missed pixels .
+Rocket Jump Ninja Hey man! i love ur videos!! you helped me out with a gaming mouse!
Lame Radio ツ Hey, thanks! Glad to hear it. :)
G303 is the mouse to go for. It's sent from heaven if you use the claw grip.
+RYLAES omg i cant wait!!! i just ordered mine last night, should be here friday! claw grip all da way!
I bought one for about a week ago and I can't say anything negative about it...
Any sensor rattle?
+carpet shark they fixed the censor rattle on the g303 now theres no way to get censor rattle unless you get an older g303
And what if your a palm grip ? my hand is prob small tho. like 15.5 cm length and wide 6 cm

EC2-A is a smaller DA,but the sensor is inferior. (personal feel)
If you hands are small get the G303, if you hands are mid-size, get the DeathAdder.
+Auxafly Reports You can easily use g303 with big hands. You must claw grip
depends on grip i use claw grip on g303 and i have fucking humongous hands xD
I ripped off the deathadder side grips and v replaced them with grip tape used on guns. it's a massive improvement.

Logitech g303 or 502, 402 is also decent
Thank you, i managed get zowie ec1-a.Great mouse.
+Xamnition Well i have pretty big hands (21cm),so i mostly use claw grip, but i guess you can palm it as well.

I use the Razer deathadder chroma atm just noticed my lights on the mouse arent on xD

Thank you so much for the video and the reply, both costs the same for me, i'll probably get the g303, again thank you, this helped me alot. :)
Glad I could help. If you have any questions, just ask.
+Crummy how is the g303
Kma26 don't regret it for a second, if you can pay for it, it's worth it. I've heard that it's not the most durable mouse, but i'll have to see how it does after a long period of time.

thanks for the video

Of course the DeathAdder
G303 for sure

Din mamma punkt se Deathadder has the double-click issue way too often... It happens in like 2/3 models. It's an extremely common problem with deathadders
this is the video where pepole hate deathadder i see
Din mamma punkt se You're so fucking stupid. Do your research kid
im watching on a g303
deathadder is terrible. Me and my brother both bought one and both of our left click buttons now double click
+raymac604 mine double clicks aswell... razer is trash
+Donnell Blakey Fixed it by opening the mouse.
Gaming reviews & News - TishoBG only way to open death adder is to rip off the feet. The mouse is a bad design to be honest
+Donnell Blakey All mice require to remove the feet in order to open them. New feet are cheap
Gaming reviews & News - TishoBG lame
